Summary
Job Chapter 37 is the conclusion of Elihu's discourse, where he describes the awesome power of God in the winter storm. He speaks of the thunder as God's voice and the lightning that lights up the world. Elihu urges Job to "stop and consider God's wonders," such as how He balances the clouds or how He spreads out the skies as a "mirror of cast bronze." He concludes that the Almighty is beyond our reach and great in power, yet in His justice He does not oppress. This final speech sets the stage for God's own response to Job from the whirlwind.
