Summary

Psalm 134 is the final Song of Ascents, a brief but stirring call to the servants of the LORD who minister in the sanctuary by night. It urges them to lift their hands in holiness and bless the LORD as they fulfill their sacred duties. The psalm concludes with a priestly blessing: "May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth." It serves as a fitting end to the pilgrims' journey, leaving them with the promise of God's blessing as they depart from His house.
