Chapter 6
1
Phonetic (Greek): Ὅsoi eisin hypo zygon doyloi, toys idious despotas pases times axious hegeisthosan, hina me to onoma toy theoy kai he didaskalia blasphemetai.
Edified Edition (EDE)Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and His doctrine be not blasphemed.

2
Phonetic (Greek): ohi de pistoys echontes despotas me kataphroneitosan, hoti adelphoi eisin· alla mallon douleuetosan, hoti pistoi eisin kai agapetoi ohi tes eyergesias antilambanomenoi. Tayta didaske kai parakalei.
Edified Edition (EDE)And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brothers, but rather serve them because those who partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. These things teach and exhort.

3
Phonetic (Greek): ei tis heterodidaskalei kai me proserchetai hygiainousi logois, tois toy kyriou hemon Ἰesoy Christoy, kai tῇ katʼ eysebeian didaskaliᾳ,
Edified Edition (EDE)If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,

4
Phonetic (Greek): tetyphotai, meden epistamenos, alla noson peri zeteseis kai logomachias, ex hon ginetai phthonos, eris, blasphemiai, hyponoiai ponerai,
Edified Edition (EDE)He is proud, knowing nothing, but obsessed with disputes and arguments about words, from which come envy, strife, slanders, and evil suspicions,

5
Phonetic (Greek): diaparatribai diephtharmenon anthropon ton noyn kai apesteremenon tes aletheias, nomizonton porismon einai ten ⸀eysebeian.
Edified Edition (EDE)Perverse disputings of those of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, supposing that godliness is a means of gain; from such withdraw yourself.

6
Phonetic (Greek): estin de porismos megas he eysebeia meta aytarkeias·

7
Phonetic (Greek): oyden gar eisenenkamen eis ton kosmon, ⸀hoti oyde exenenkein ti dynametha·
Edified Edition (EDE)For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

10
Phonetic (Greek): ῥiza gar panton ton kakon estin he philargyria, hes tines oregomenoi apeplanethesan apo tes pisteos kai heautoys periepeiran odynais pollais.
Edified Edition (EDE)For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, which while some coveted after, they have strayed from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11
Phonetic (Greek): Sy de, o anthrope ⸀theoy, tayta pheyge· dioke de dikaiosynen, eysebeian, pistin, agapen, hypomonen, ⸀praypathian.
Edified Edition (EDE)But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
