Edified Edition (EDE)When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Καὶ ἐν τῷ συμπληροῦσθαι τὴν ἡμέραν τῆς πεντηκοστῆς ἦσαν ⸂πάντες ὁμοῦ⸃ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό,

Edified Edition (EDE)And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

καὶ ἐγένετο ἄφνω ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἦχος ὥσπερ φερομένης πνοῆς βιαίας καὶ ἐπλήρωσεν ὅλον τὸν οἶκον οὗ ἦσαν καθήμενοι,

Phonetic (Greek): kai ophthesan aytois diamerizomenai glossai hosei pyros, ⸂kai ekathisen⸃ ephʼ hena hekaston ayton,
Edified Edition (EDE)Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

καὶ ὤφθησαν αὐτοῖς διαμεριζόμεναι γλῶσσαι ὡσεὶ πυρός, ⸂καὶ ἐκάθισεν⸃ ἐφʼ ἕνα ἕκαστον αὐτῶν,

Phonetic (Greek): kai eplesthesan ⸀pantes pneymatos hagiou, kai erxanto lalein heterais glossais kathos to pneyma edidou ⸂apophthengesthai aytois⸃.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν ⸀πάντες πνεύματος ἁγίου, καὶ ἤρξαντο λαλεῖν ἑτέραις γλώσσαις καθὼς τὸ πνεῦμα ἐδίδου ⸂ἀποφθέγγεσθαι αὐτοῖς⸃.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἦsan de ⸀en Ἰerousalem katoikoyntes Ἰoudaioi, andres eylabeis apo pantos ethnous ton hypo ton oyranon·
Edified Edition (EDE)And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.

Ἦσαν δὲ ⸀ἐν Ἰερουσαλὴμ κατοικοῦντες Ἰουδαῖοι, ἄνδρες εὐλαβεῖς ἀπὸ παντὸς ἔθνους τῶν ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανόν·

Phonetic (Greek): genomenes de tes phones taytes synelthe to plethos kai synechythe, hoti ⸀ekouon ehis hekastos tῇ idiᾳ dialektῳ laloynton ayton·
Edified Edition (EDE)And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

γενομένης δὲ τῆς φωνῆς ταύτης συνῆλθε τὸ πλῆθος καὶ συνεχύθη, ὅτι ⸀ἤκουον εἷς ἕκαστος τῇ ἰδίᾳ διαλέκτῳ λαλούντων αὐτῶν·

Phonetic (Greek): existanto ⸀de kai ethaymazon ⸀legontes· ⸀Oych idoy ⸀pantes ohytoi eisin ohi laloyntes Galilaioi;
Edified Edition (EDE)Then they were all amazed and marvelled, saying to one another, "Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?

ἐξίσταντο ⸀δὲ καὶ ἐθαύμαζον ⸀λέγοντες· ⸀Οὐχ ἰδοὺ ⸀πάντες οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ λαλοῦντες Γαλιλαῖοι;

Phonetic (Greek): kai pos hemeis akoyomen hekastos tῇ idiᾳ dialektῳ hemon en he egennethemen;
Edified Edition (EDE)And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

καὶ πῶς ἡμεῖς ἀκούομεν ἕκαστος τῇ ἰδίᾳ διαλέκτῳ ἡμῶν ἐν ᾗ ἐγεννήθημεν;

Phonetic (Greek): Parthoi kai Medoi kai Ἐlamitai, kai ohi katoikoyntes ten Mesopotamian, Ἰoudaian te kai Kappadokian, Ponton kai ten Ἀsian,
Edified Edition (EDE)Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

Πάρθοι καὶ Μῆδοι καὶ Ἐλαμῖται, καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν Μεσοποταμίαν, Ἰουδαίαν τε καὶ Καππαδοκίαν, Πόντον καὶ τὴν Ἀσίαν,

Phonetic (Greek): Phrygian te kai Pamphylian, Aigypton kai ta mere tes Libyes tes kata Kyrenen, kai ohi epidemoyntes Ῥomaioi,
Edified Edition (EDE)Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,

Φρυγίαν τε καὶ Παμφυλίαν, Αἴγυπτον καὶ τὰ μέρη τῆς Λιβύης τῆς κατὰ Κυρήνην, καὶ οἱ ἐπιδημοῦντες Ῥωμαῖοι,

Phonetic (Greek): Ἰoudaioi te kai proselytoi, Kretes kai Ἄrabes, akoyomen laloynton ayton tais hemeterais glossais ta megaleia toy theoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)Cretans and Arabs, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God."

Ἰουδαῖοί τε καὶ προσήλυτοι, Κρῆτες καὶ Ἄραβες, ἀκούομεν λαλούντων αὐτῶν ταῖς ἡμετέραις γλώσσαις τὰ μεγαλεῖα τοῦ θεοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): existanto de pantes kai ⸀dieporoun, allos pros allon legontes· Ti ⸀thelei toyto einai;
Edified Edition (EDE)So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, "Whatever could this mean?"

ἐξίσταντο δὲ πάντες καὶ ⸀διηπόρουν, ἄλλος πρὸς ἄλλον λέγοντες· Τί ⸀θέλει τοῦτο εἶναι;

Phonetic (Greek): heteroi de ⸀diachleuazontes elegon hoti Gleykous memestomenoi eisin.
Edified Edition (EDE)Others mocking said, "They are full of new wine."

ἕτεροι δὲ ⸀διαχλευάζοντες ἔλεγον ὅτι Γλεύκους μεμεστωμένοι εἰσίν.

Phonetic (Greek): Statheis de ⸀ho Petros syn tois hendeka eperen ten phonen aytoy kai apephthenxato aytois· Ἄndres Ἰoudaioi kai ohi katoikoyntes Ἰerousalem ⸀pantes, toyto hymin gnoston esto kai enotisasthe ta ῥemata mou.
Edified Edition (EDE)But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.

Σταθεὶς δὲ ⸀ὁ Πέτρος σὺν τοῖς ἕνδεκα ἐπῆρεν τὴν φωνὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπεφθέγξατο αὐτοῖς· Ἄνδρες Ἰουδαῖοι καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Ἰερουσαλὴμ ⸀πάντες, τοῦτο ὑμῖν γνωστὸν ἔστω καὶ ἐνωτίσασθε τὰ ῥήματά μου.

Phonetic (Greek): oy gar hos hymeis hypolambanete ohytoi methyousin, estin gar hora trite tes hemeras,
Edified Edition (EDE)For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.

οὐ γὰρ ὡς ὑμεῖς ὑπολαμβάνετε οὗτοι μεθύουσιν, ἔστιν γὰρ ὥρα τρίτη τῆς ἡμέρας,

Phonetic (Greek): alla toyto estin to eiremenon dia toy prophetou Ἰoel·
Edified Edition (EDE)But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

ἀλλὰ τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ εἰρημένον διὰ τοῦ προφήτου Ἰωήλ·

Phonetic (Greek): Kai estai en tais eschatais hemerais, legei ho theos, ekcheo apo toy pneymatos mou epi pasan sarka, kai propheteysousin ohi yhioi hymon kai ahi thygateres hymon, kai ohi neaniskoi hymon horaseis opsontai, kai ohi presbyteroi hymon ⸀enypniois enypniasthesontai·
Edified Edition (EDE)‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.

Καὶ ἔσται ἐν ταῖς ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις, λέγει ὁ θεός, ἐκχεῶ ἀπὸ τοῦ πνεύματός μου ἐπὶ πᾶσαν σάρκα, καὶ προφητεύσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμῶν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες ὑμῶν, καὶ οἱ νεανίσκοι ὑμῶν ὁράσεις ὄψονται, καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι ὑμῶν ⸀ἐνυπνίοις ἐνυπνιασθήσονται·

Phonetic (Greek): kai ge epi toys doylous mou kai epi tas doylas mou en tais hemerais ekeinais ekcheo apo toy pneymatos mou, kai propheteysousin.
Edified Edition (EDE)And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

καί γε ἐπὶ τοὺς δούλους μου καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς δούλας μου ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις ἐκχεῶ ἀπὸ τοῦ πνεύματός μου, καὶ προφητεύσουσιν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai doso terata en tῷ oyranῷ ano kai semeia epi tes ges kato, ahima kai pyr kai atmida kapnoy·
Edified Edition (EDE)I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapour of smoke.

καὶ δώσω τέρατα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω καὶ σημεῖα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κάτω, αἷμα καὶ πῦρ καὶ ἀτμίδα καπνοῦ·

Phonetic (Greek): ho helios metastraphesetai eis skotos kai he selene eis ahima prin ⸀e ⸀elthein hemeran kyriou ten megalen kai epiphane.
Edified Edition (EDE)The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.

ὁ ἥλιος μεταστραφήσεται εἰς σκότος καὶ ἡ σελήνη εἰς αἷμα πρὶν ⸀ἢ ⸀ἐλθεῖν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ.

Phonetic (Greek): kai estai pas hos ⸀ean epikalesetai to onoma kyriou sothesetai.
Edified Edition (EDE)And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.’"

καὶ ἔσται πᾶς ὃς ⸀ἐὰν ἐπικαλέσηται τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου σωθήσεται.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἄndres Ἰsraelitai, akoysate toys logous toytous. Ἰesoyn ton Nazoraion, andra ⸂apodedeigmenon apo toy theoy⸃ eis hymas dynamesi kai terasi kai semeiois ohis epoiesen diʼ aytoy ho theos en mesῳ hymon, ⸀kathos aytoi oidate,
Edified Edition (EDE)"Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know,

Ἄνδρες Ἰσραηλῖται, ἀκούσατε τοὺς λόγους τούτους. Ἰησοῦν τὸν Ναζωραῖον, ἄνδρα ⸂ἀποδεδειγμένον ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ⸃ εἰς ὑμᾶς δυνάμεσι καὶ τέρασι καὶ σημείοις οἷς ἐποίησεν διʼ αὐτοῦ ὁ θεὸς ἐν μέσῳ ὑμῶν, ⸀καθὼς αὐτοὶ οἴδατε,

Phonetic (Greek): toyton tῇ horismenῃ boulῇ kai prognosei toy theoy ⸀ekdoton dia ⸀cheiros anomon prospexantes aneilate,
Edified Edition (EDE)Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

τοῦτον τῇ ὡρισμένῃ βουλῇ καὶ προγνώσει τοῦ θεοῦ ⸀ἔκδοτον διὰ ⸀χειρὸς ἀνόμων προσπήξαντες ἀνείλατε,

Phonetic (Greek): hon ho theos anestesen lysas tas odinas toy thanatou, kathoti oyk en dynaton krateisthai ayton hypʼ aytoy·
Edified Edition (EDE)whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

ὃν ὁ θεὸς ἀνέστησεν λύσας τὰς ὠδῖνας τοῦ θανάτου, καθότι οὐκ ἦν δυνατὸν κρατεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπʼ αὐτοῦ·

Phonetic (Greek): Dauid gar legei eis ayton· Prooromen ton kyrion enopion mou dia pantos, hoti ek dexion moy estin hina me saleutho.
Edified Edition (EDE)For David says concerning Him: ‘I foresaw the LORD always before my face, for He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.

Δαυὶδ γὰρ λέγει εἰς αὐτόν· Προορώμην τὸν κύριον ἐνώπιόν μου διὰ παντός, ὅτι ἐκ δεξιῶν μού ἐστιν ἵνα μὴ σαλευθῶ.

Phonetic (Greek): dia toyto eyphranthe ⸂he kardia mou⸃ kai egalliasato he glossa mou, eti de kai he sarx mou kataskenosei epʼ elpidi·
Edified Edition (EDE)Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.

διὰ τοῦτο ηὐφράνθη ⸂ἡ καρδία μου⸃ καὶ ἠγαλλιάσατο ἡ γλῶσσά μου, ἔτι δὲ καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου κατασκηνώσει ἐπʼ ἐλπίδι·

Phonetic (Greek): hoti oyk enkataleipseis ten psychen mou eis ⸀haden, oyde doseis ton hosion sou idein diaphthoran.
Edified Edition (EDE)For You will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

ὅτι οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψεις τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰς ⸀ᾅδην, οὐδὲ δώσεις τὸν ὅσιόν σου ἰδεῖν διαφθοράν.

Phonetic (Greek): egnorisas moi hodoys zoes, pleroseis me eyphrosynes meta toy prosopou sou.
Edified Edition (EDE)You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’"

ἐγνώρισάς μοι ὁδοὺς ζωῆς, πληρώσεις με εὐφροσύνης μετὰ τοῦ προσώπου σου.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἄndres adelphoi, exon eipein meta parresias pros hymas peri toy patriarchou Dauid, hoti kai eteleytesen kai etaphe, kai to mnema aytoy estin en hemin achri tes hemeras taytes·
Edified Edition (EDE)"Men and brothers, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί, ἐξὸν εἰπεῖν μετὰ παρρησίας πρὸς ὑμᾶς περὶ τοῦ πατριάρχου Δαυίδ, ὅτι καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν καὶ ἐτάφη, καὶ τὸ μνῆμα αὐτοῦ ἔστιν ἐν ἡμῖν ἄχρι τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης·

Phonetic (Greek): prophetes oyn hyparchon, kai eidos hoti horkῳ omosen aytῷ ho theos ek karpoy tes osphyos ⸀aytoy kathisai epi ⸂ton thronon⸃ aytoy,
Edified Edition (EDE)Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

προφήτης οὖν ὑπάρχων, καὶ εἰδὼς ὅτι ὅρκῳ ὤμοσεν αὐτῷ ὁ θεὸς ἐκ καρποῦ τῆς ὀσφύος ⸀αὐτοῦ καθίσαι ἐπὶ ⸂τὸν θρόνον⸃ αὐτοῦ,

Phonetic (Greek): proidon elalesen peri tes anastaseos toy christoy hoti ⸂oyte enkateleiphthe⸃ eis ⸀haden ⸀oyte he sarx aytoy eiden diaphthoran.
Edified Edition (EDE)he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.

προϊδὼν ἐλάλησεν περὶ τῆς ἀναστάσεως τοῦ χριστοῦ ὅτι ⸂οὔτε ἐγκατελείφθη⸃ εἰς ⸀ᾅδην ⸀οὔτε ἡ σὰρξ αὐτοῦ εἶδεν διαφθοράν.

Phonetic (Greek): toyton ton Ἰesoyn anestesen ho theos, ohy pantes hemeis esmen martyres.
Edified Edition (EDE)This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

τοῦτον τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀνέστησεν ὁ θεός, οὗ πάντες ἡμεῖς ἐσμεν μάρτυρες.

Phonetic (Greek): tῇ dexiᾷ oyn toy theoy hypsotheis ten te epangelian toy ⸂pneymatos toy hagiou⸃ labon para toy patros execheen toyto ⸀ho ⸀hymeis blepete kai akoyete.
Edified Edition (EDE)Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

τῇ δεξιᾷ οὖν τοῦ θεοῦ ὑψωθεὶς τήν τε ἐπαγγελίαν τοῦ ⸂πνεύματος τοῦ ἁγίου⸃ λαβὼν παρὰ τοῦ πατρὸς ἐξέχεεν τοῦτο ⸀ὃ ⸀ὑμεῖς βλέπετε καὶ ἀκούετε.

Phonetic (Greek): oy gar Dauid anebe eis toys oyranoys, legei de aytos· Eipen ⸀ho kyrios tῷ kyriῳ mou· Kathou ek dexion mou,
Edified Edition (EDE)For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand,

οὐ γὰρ Δαυὶδ ἀνέβη εἰς τοὺς οὐρανούς, λέγει δὲ αὐτός· Εἶπεν ⸀ὁ κύριος τῷ κυρίῳ μου· Κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου,

Phonetic (Greek): heos an tho toys echthroys sou hypopodion ton podon sou.
Edified Edition (EDE)till I make Your enemies Your footstool."’

ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου.

Phonetic (Greek): asphalos oyn ginosketo pas oikos Ἰsrael hoti kai kyrion ⸂ayton kai christon⸃ ⸂epoiesen ho theos⸃, toyton ton Ἰesoyn hon hymeis estaurosate.
Edified Edition (EDE)"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

ἀσφαλῶς οὖν γινωσκέτω πᾶς οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ ὅτι καὶ κύριον ⸂αὐτὸν καὶ χριστὸν⸃ ⸂ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός⸃, τοῦτον τὸν Ἰησοῦν ὃν ὑμεῖς ἐσταυρώσατε.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἀkoysantes de katenygesan ⸂ten kardian⸃, eipon te pros ton Petron kai toys loipoys apostolous· Ti ⸀poiesomen, andres adelphoi;
Edified Edition (EDE)Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brothers, what shall we do?"

Ἀκούσαντες δὲ κατενύγησαν ⸂τὴν καρδίαν⸃, εἶπόν τε πρὸς τὸν Πέτρον καὶ τοὺς λοιποὺς ἀποστόλους· Τί ⸀ποιήσωμεν, ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί;

Phonetic (Greek): Petros de ⸂pros aytoys· Metanoesate⸃, kai baptistheto hekastos hymon ⸀epi tῷ onomati Ἰesoy Christoy eis aphesin ⸀ton hamartion ⸀hymon, kai lempsesthe ten dorean toy hagiou pneymatos·
Edified Edition (EDE)Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Πέτρος δὲ ⸂πρὸς αὐτούς· Μετανοήσατε⸃, καὶ βαπτισθήτω ἕκαστος ὑμῶν ⸀ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς ἄφεσιν ⸀τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ⸀ὑμῶν, καὶ λήμψεσθε τὴν δωρεὰν τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος·

Phonetic (Greek): hymin gar estin he epangelia kai tois teknois hymon kai pasi tois eis makran hosous an proskalesetai kyrios ho theos hemon.
Edified Edition (EDE)For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

ὑμῖν γάρ ἐστιν ἡ ἐπαγγελία καὶ τοῖς τέκνοις ὑμῶν καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς εἰς μακρὰν ὅσους ἂν προσκαλέσηται κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): heterois te logois pleiosin diemartyrato, kai parekalei ⸀aytoys legon· Sothete apo tes geneas tes skolias taytes.
Edified Edition (EDE)And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."

ἑτέροις τε λόγοις πλείοσιν διεμαρτύρατο, καὶ παρεκάλει ⸀αὐτοὺς λέγων· Σώθητε ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς τῆς σκολιᾶς ταύτης.

Phonetic (Greek): ohi men ⸀oyn apodexamenoi ton logon aytoy ebaptisthesan, kai prosetethesan ⸀en tῇ hemerᾳ ekeinῃ psychai hosei trischiliai.
Edified Edition (EDE)Then those who gladly received his word were baptised; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

οἱ μὲν ⸀οὖν ἀποδεξάμενοι τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ ἐβαπτίσθησαν, καὶ προσετέθησαν ⸀ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ψυχαὶ ὡσεὶ τρισχίλιαι.

Phonetic (Greek): esan de proskarteroyntes tῇ didachῇ ton apostolon kai tῇ ⸀koinoniᾳ, tῇ klasei toy artou kai tais proseuchais.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

ἦσαν δὲ προσκαρτεροῦντες τῇ διδαχῇ τῶν ἀποστόλων καὶ τῇ ⸀κοινωνίᾳ, τῇ κλάσει τοῦ ἄρτου καὶ ταῖς προσευχαῖς.

Edified Edition (EDE)Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

καὶ τὰ κτήματα καὶ τὰς ὑπάρξεις ἐπίπρασκον καὶ διεμέριζον αὐτὰ πᾶσιν καθότι ἄν τις χρείαν εἶχεν·

Edified Edition (EDE)So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

καθʼ ἡμέραν τε προσκαρτεροῦντες ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ, κλῶντές τε κατʼ οἶκον ἄρτον, μετελάμβανον τροφῆς ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει καὶ ἀφελότητι καρδίας,

Edified Edition (EDE)praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

αἰνοῦντες τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἔχοντες χάριν πρὸς ὅλον τὸν λαόν. ὁ δὲ κύριος προσετίθει τοὺς σῳζομένους καθʼ ἡμέραν ⸂ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό⸃.
