1
Phonetic (Greek): Kai tῇ ⸂hemerᾳ tῇ tritῃ⸃ gamos egeneto en Kana tes Galilaias, kai en he meter toy Ἰesoy ekei·
Edified Edition (EDE)On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

2
Phonetic (Greek): eklethe de kai ho Ἰesoys kai ohi mathetai aytoy eis ton gamon.
Edified Edition (EDE)Jesus also was invited, with His disciples, to the wedding.

3
Phonetic (Greek): kai hysteresantos oinou legei he meter toy Ἰesoy pros ayton· Oinon oyk echousin.
Edified Edition (EDE)When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."

4
Phonetic (Greek): ⸀kai legei aytῇ ho Ἰesoys· Ti emoi kai soi, gynai; oypo hekei he hora mou.
Edified Edition (EDE)And Jesus said to her, [JESUS]"Woman, why are you telling Me this? My hour has not yet come."[/JESUS]

5
Phonetic (Greek): legei he meter aytoy tois diakonois· ⸂Ὅ ti⸃ an legῃ hymin poiesate.
Edified Edition (EDE)His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

6
Phonetic (Greek): esan de ekei ⸂lithinai hydriai⸃ hex ⸂kata ton katharismon ton Ἰoudaion keimenai⸃, choroysai ana metretas dyo e treis.
Edified Edition (EDE)Now there were six stone water pots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, each containing two or three measures.

7
Phonetic (Greek): legei aytois ho Ἰesoys· Gemisate tas hydrias hydatos· kai egemisan aytas heos ano.
Edified Edition (EDE)Jesus said to them, [JESUS]"Fill the water pots with water."[/JESUS] And they filled them to the brim.

8
Phonetic (Greek): kai legei aytois· Ἀntlesate nyn kai pherete tῷ architriklinῳ· ⸂ohi de⸃ enenkan.
Edified Edition (EDE)And He said to them, [JESUS]"Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet."[/JESUS] And they took it.

9
Phonetic (Greek): hos de egeysato ho architriklinos to hydor oinon gegenemenon, kai oyk edei pothen estin, ohi de diakonoi edeisan ohi entlekotes to hydor, phonei ton nymphion ho architriklinos
Edified Edition (EDE)When the master of the banquet tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the banquet called the bridegroom,

10
Phonetic (Greek): kai legei aytῷ· Pas anthropos proton ton kalon oinon tithesin, kai hotan ⸀methysthosin ton elasso· sy teterekas ton kalon oinon heos arti.
Edified Edition (EDE)and said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is inferior; but you have kept the good wine until now!"

11
Phonetic (Greek): tayten ⸀epoiesen archen ton semeion ho Ἰesoys en Kana tes Galilaias kai ephanerosen ten doxan aytoy, kai episteusan eis ayton ohi mathetai aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)This was the first of His signs that Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and He revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

12
Phonetic (Greek): Meta toyto katebe eis Kapharnaoym aytos kai he meter aytoy kai ohi ⸀adelphoi kai ohi mathetai aytoy, kai ekei emeinan oy pollas hemeras.
Edified Edition (EDE)After this, He went down to Capernaum, together with His mother and His brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there for a few days.

13
Phonetic (Greek): Kai engys en to pascha ton Ἰoudaion, kai anebe eis Ἱerosolyma ho Ἰesoys.
Edified Edition (EDE)The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14
Phonetic (Greek): kai ehyren en tῷ hierῷ toys poloyntas boas kai probata kai peristeras kai toys kermatistas kathemenous,
Edified Edition (EDE)And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting there.

15
Phonetic (Greek): kai poiesas phragellion ek schoinion pantas exebalen ek toy hieroy ta te probata kai toys boas, kai ton kollybiston execheen ⸂ta kermata⸃ kai tas trapezas ⸀anestrepsen,
Edified Edition (EDE)And having made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the money of the changers and overturned the tables.

16
Phonetic (Greek): kai tois tas peristeras poloysin eipen· Ἄrate tayta enteythen, me poieite ton oikon toy patros mou oikon emporiou.
Edified Edition (EDE)And to those who sold the doves He said, [JESUS]"Take these things out of here! Do not make My Father’s house a marketplace!"[/JESUS]

17
Phonetic (Greek): ⸀emnesthesan ohi mathetai aytoy hoti gegrammenon estin· Ὁ zelos toy oikou sou kataphagetai me.
Edified Edition (EDE)His disciples remembered that it was written: "Zeal for Your house will consume me."

18
Phonetic (Greek): apekrithesan oyn ohi Ἰoudaioi kai eipan aytῷ· Ti semeion deiknyeis hemin, hoti tayta poieis;
Edified Edition (EDE)The Jews therefore answered and said to Him, "What sign do You show us for doing these things?"

ἀπεκρίθησαν οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ· Τί σημεῖον δεικνύεις ἡμῖν, ὅτι ταῦτα ποιεῖς;

19
Phonetic (Greek): apekrithe Ἰesoys kai eipen aytois· Lysate ton naon toyton kai en trisin hemerais egero ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)Jesus answered and said to them, [JESUS]"Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up."[/JESUS]

20
Phonetic (Greek): eipan oyn ohi Ἰoudaioi· Tesserakonta kai hex etesin oikodomethe ho naos ohytos, kai sy en trisin hemerais egereis ayton;
Edified Edition (EDE)The Jews therefore said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"

εἶπαν οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι· Τεσσεράκοντα καὶ ἓξ ἔτεσιν οἰκοδομήθη ὁ ναὸς οὗτος, καὶ σὺ ἐν τρισὶν ἡμέραις ἐγερεῖς αὐτόν;

21
Phonetic (Greek): ekeinos de elegen peri toy naoy toy somatos aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)But He was speaking about the temple of His body.

22
Phonetic (Greek): hote oyn egerthe ek nekron, emnesthesan ohi mathetai aytoy hoti toyto elegen, kai episteusan tῇ graphῇ kai tῷ logῳ ⸀hon eipen ho Ἰesoys.
Edified Edition (EDE)When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.

Edified Edition (EDE)Now while He was in Jerusalem at the Passover during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs that He was doing.

24
Phonetic (Greek): aytos ⸀de Ἰesoys oyk episteuen ⸀ahyton aytois dia to ayton ginoskein pantas
Edified Edition (EDE)But Jesus did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew everyone,

25
Phonetic (Greek): kai hoti oy chreian eichen hina tis martyresῃ peri toy anthropou, aytos gar eginosken ti en en tῷ anthropῳ.
Edified Edition (EDE)and because He did not need anyone to testify about man; for He Himself knew what was in man.
