Edified Edition (EDE)After these things the LORD appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

Edified Edition (EDE)Then He said to them, [JESUS]"The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest."[/JESUS]

3
Phonetic (Greek): hypagete· ⸀idoy apostello hymas hos arnas en mesῳ lykon.

4
Phonetic (Greek): me bastazete ballantion, me peran, ⸀me hypodemata, kai medena kata ten hodon aspasesthe.
Edified Edition (EDE)Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

5
Phonetic (Greek): eis hen dʼ an ⸂eiselthete oikian⸃ proton legete· Eirene tῷ oikῳ toytῳ.
Edified Edition (EDE)And into whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

6
Phonetic (Greek): kai ean ⸂e ekei⸃ yhios eirenes, epanapaesetai epʼ ayton he eirene hymon· ei de mege, ephʼ hymas anakampsei.
Edified Edition (EDE)And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

7
Phonetic (Greek): en aytῇ de tῇ oikiᾳ menete, esthiontes kai pinontes ta parʼ ayton, axios gar ho ergates toy misthoy ⸀aytoy. me metabainete ex oikias eis oikian.
Edified Edition (EDE)And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

8
Phonetic (Greek): kai eis hen an polin eiserchesthe kai dechontai hymas, esthiete ta paratithemena hymin,
Edified Edition (EDE)And into whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

9
Phonetic (Greek): kai therapeyete toys en aytῇ astheneis, kai legete aytois· Ἤngiken ephʼ hymas he basileia toy theoy.

10
Phonetic (Greek): eis hen dʼ an polin ⸀eiselthete kai me dechontai hymas, exelthontes eis tas plateias aytes eipate·
Edified Edition (EDE)But into whatever city you enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

11
Phonetic (Greek): Kai ton koniorton ton kollethenta hemin ek tes poleos hymon ⸂eis toys podas⸃ apomassometha hymin· plen toyto ginoskete hoti ⸀engiken he basileia toy theoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)Even the very dust of your city, who cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be you sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh to you.

12
Phonetic (Greek): lego hymin hoti Sodomois en tῇ hemerᾳ ekeinῃ anektoteron estai e tῇ polei ekeinῃ.
Edified Edition (EDE)But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

13

Edified Edition (EDE)Woe to you, Chorazin! woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, who have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

14

16
Phonetic (Greek): Ὁ akoyon hymon emoy akoyei, kai ho atheton hymas eme athetei· ho de eme atheton athetei ton aposteilanta me.

20

Edified Edition (EDE)Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Edified Edition (EDE)For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.
