Phonetic (Greek): Ἀnablepsas de eiden toys ballontas ⸂eis to gazophylakion ta dora ayton⸃ plousious.
Edified Edition (EDE)And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,

Ἀναβλέψας δὲ εἶδεν τοὺς βάλλοντας ⸂εἰς τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον τὰ δῶρα αὐτῶν⸃ πλουσίους.

Phonetic (Greek): eiden de ⸀tina cheran penichran ballousan ekei ⸂lepta dyo⸃,
Edified Edition (EDE)And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in There two mites.

εἶδεν δέ ⸀τινα χήραν πενιχρὰν βάλλουσαν ἐκεῖ ⸂λεπτὰ δύο⸃,

Phonetic (Greek): kai eipen· Ἀlethos lego hymin hoti he chera ⸂he ptoche ahyte⸃ pleion panton ebalen·
Edified Edition (EDE)so He said, [JESUS]"Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all;"[/JESUS]

καὶ εἶπεν· Ἀληθῶς λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἡ χήρα ⸂ἡ πτωχὴ αὕτη⸃ πλεῖον πάντων ἔβαλεν·

Phonetic (Greek): ⸀pantes gar ohytoi ek toy perisseyontos aytois ebalon eis ta ⸀dora, ahyte de ek toy hysterematos aytes ⸀panta ton bion hon eichen ebalen.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had."[/JESUS]

⸀πάντες γὰρ οὗτοι ἐκ τοῦ περισσεύοντος αὐτοῖς ἔβαλον εἰς τὰ ⸀δῶρα, αὕτη δὲ ἐκ τοῦ ὑστερήματος αὐτῆς ⸀πάντα τὸν βίον ὃν εἶχεν ἔβαλεν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai tinon legonton peri toy hieroy, hoti lithois kalois kai anathemasin kekosmetai eipen·
Edified Edition (EDE)And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

Καί τινων λεγόντων περὶ τοῦ ἱεροῦ, ὅτι λίθοις καλοῖς καὶ ἀναθήμασιν κεκόσμηται εἶπεν·

Phonetic (Greek): Tayta ha theoreite, eleysontai hemerai en ahis oyk aphethesetai lithos epi ⸀lithῳ hos oy katalythesetai.
Edified Edition (EDE)As for these things which you behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Ταῦτα ἃ θεωρεῖτε, ἐλεύσονται ἡμέραι ἐν αἷς οὐκ ἀφεθήσεται λίθος ἐπὶ ⸀λίθῳ ὃς οὐ καταλυθήσεται.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἐperotesan de ayton legontes· Didaskale, pote oyn tayta estai, kai ti to semeion hotan mellῃ tayta ginesthai;
Edified Edition (EDE)And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Ἐπηρώτησαν δὲ αὐτὸν λέγοντες· Διδάσκαλε, πότε οὖν ταῦτα ἔσται, καὶ τί τὸ σημεῖον ὅταν μέλλῃ ταῦτα γίνεσθαι;

Phonetic (Greek): ho de eipen· Blepete me planethete· polloi gar eleysontai epi tῷ onomati mou ⸀legontes· Ἐgo eimi kai· Ὁ kairos engiken· ⸀me poreuthete opiso ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)And He said: [JESUS]"Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them."[/JESUS]

ὁ δὲ εἶπεν· Βλέπετε μὴ πλανηθῆτε· πολλοὶ γὰρ ἐλεύσονται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου ⸀λέγοντες· Ἐγώ εἰμι καί· Ὁ καιρὸς ἤγγικεν· ⸀μὴ πορευθῆτε ὀπίσω αὐτῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): hotan de akoysete polemous kai akatastasias, me ptoethete· dei gar tayta genesthai proton, allʼ oyk eytheos to telos.
Edified Edition (EDE)But when you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

ὅταν δὲ ἀκούσητε πολέμους καὶ ἀκαταστασίας, μὴ πτοηθῆτε· δεῖ γὰρ ταῦτα γενέσθαι πρῶτον, ἀλλʼ οὐκ εὐθέως τὸ τέλος.

Phonetic (Greek): tote elegen aytois· Ἐgerthesetai ethnos epʼ ethnos kai basileia epi basileian,
Edified Edition (EDE)Then said he to them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

τότε ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· Ἐγερθήσεται ἔθνος ἐπʼ ἔθνος καὶ βασιλεία ἐπὶ βασιλείαν,

Phonetic (Greek): seismoi te megaloi ⸂kai kata topous⸃ ⸂limoi kai loimoi⸃ esontai, phobetra te kai ⸂semeia apʼ oyranoy megala⸃ estai.
Edified Edition (EDE)And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

σεισμοί τε μεγάλοι ⸂καὶ κατὰ τόπους⸃ ⸂λιμοὶ καὶ λοιμοὶ⸃ ἔσονται, φόβητρά τε καὶ ⸂σημεῖα ἀπʼ οὐρανοῦ μεγάλα⸃ ἔσται.

Phonetic (Greek): Pro de toyton panton epibaloysin ephʼ hymas tas cheiras ayton kai dioxousin, paradidontes eis ⸀tas synagogas kai phylakas, ⸀apagomenous epi basileis kai hegemonas heneken toy onomatos mou·
Edified Edition (EDE)But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

Πρὸ δὲ τούτων πάντων ἐπιβαλοῦσιν ἐφʼ ὑμᾶς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν καὶ διώξουσιν, παραδιδόντες εἰς ⸀τὰς συναγωγὰς καὶ φυλακάς, ⸀ἀπαγομένους ἐπὶ βασιλεῖς καὶ ἡγεμόνας ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματός μου·

Phonetic (Greek): ⸀apobesetai hymin eis martyrion.
Edified Edition (EDE)And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

⸀ἀποβήσεται ὑμῖν εἰς μαρτύριον.

Phonetic (Greek): ⸀thete oyn ⸂en tais kardiais⸃ hymon me promeletan apologethenai,
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer;"[/JESUS]

⸀θέτε οὖν ⸂ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις⸃ ὑμῶν μὴ προμελετᾶν ἀπολογηθῆναι,

Phonetic (Greek): ego gar doso hymin stoma kai sophian he oy dynesontai ⸂antistenai e anteipein⸃ ⸀hapantes ohi antikeimenoi hymin.
Edified Edition (EDE)For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, who all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

ἐγὼ γὰρ δώσω ὑμῖν στόμα καὶ σοφίαν ᾗ οὐ δυνήσονται ⸂ἀντιστῆναι ἢ ἀντειπεῖν⸃ ⸀ἅπαντες οἱ ἀντικείμενοι ὑμῖν.

Phonetic (Greek): paradothesesthe de kai hypo goneon kai ⸂adelphon kai syngenon kai philon⸃, kai thanatosousin ex hymon,
Edified Edition (EDE)And you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brothers, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

παραδοθήσεσθε δὲ καὶ ὑπὸ γονέων καὶ ⸂ἀδελφῶν καὶ συγγενῶν καὶ φίλων⸃, καὶ θανατώσουσιν ἐξ ὑμῶν,

Phonetic (Greek): kai esesthe misoymenoi hypo panton dia to onoma mou.
Edified Edition (EDE)And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

καὶ ἔσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου.

Phonetic (Greek): kai thrix ek tes kephales hymon oy me apoletai.
Edified Edition (EDE)But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

καὶ θρὶξ ἐκ τῆς κεφαλῆς ὑμῶν οὐ μὴ ἀπόληται.

Phonetic (Greek): en tῇ hypomonῇ hymon ⸀ktesasthe tas psychas hymon.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"By your patience possess your souls."[/JESUS]

ἐν τῇ ὑπομονῇ ὑμῶν ⸀κτήσασθε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): Ὅtan de idete kykloumenen hypo ⸀stratopedon Ἰerousalem, tote gnote hoti engiken he eremosis aytes.
Edified Edition (EDE)And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Ὅταν δὲ ἴδητε κυκλουμένην ὑπὸ ⸀στρατοπέδων Ἰερουσαλήμ, τότε γνῶτε ὅτι ἤγγικεν ἡ ἐρήμωσις αὐτῆς.

Phonetic (Greek): tote ohi en tῇ Ἰoudaiᾳ pheugetosan eis ta ore, kai ohi en mesῳ aytes ekchoreitosan, kai ohi en tais chorais me eiserchesthosan eis ayten,
Edified Edition (EDE)Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let those who are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

τότε οἱ ἐν τῇ Ἰουδαίᾳ φευγέτωσαν εἰς τὰ ὄρη, καὶ οἱ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς ἐκχωρείτωσαν, καὶ οἱ ἐν ταῖς χώραις μὴ εἰσερχέσθωσαν εἰς αὐτήν,

Phonetic (Greek): hoti hemerai ekdikeseos ahytai eisin toy plesthenai panta ta gegrammena.
Edified Edition (EDE)For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

ὅτι ἡμέραι ἐκδικήσεως αὗταί εἰσιν τοῦ πλησθῆναι πάντα τὰ γεγραμμένα.

Phonetic (Greek): ⸀oyai tais en gastri echoysais kai tais thelazoysais en ekeinais tais hemerais· estai gar ananke megale epi tes ges kai ⸀orge tῷ laῷ toytῳ,
Edified Edition (EDE)But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

⸀οὐαὶ ταῖς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσαις καὶ ταῖς θηλαζούσαις ἐν ἐκείναις ταῖς ἡμέραις· ἔσται γὰρ ἀνάγκη μεγάλη ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ⸀ὀργὴ τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ,

Phonetic (Greek): kai pesoyntai stomati machaires kai aichmalotisthesontai eis ⸂ta ethne panta⸃, kai Ἰerousalem estai patoumene hypo ethnon, achri ⸀ohy ⸀plerothosin kairoi ethnon.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

καὶ πεσοῦνται στόματι μαχαίρης καὶ αἰχμαλωτισθήσονται εἰς ⸂τὰ ἔθνη πάντα⸃, καὶ Ἰερουσαλὴμ ἔσται πατουμένη ὑπὸ ἐθνῶν, ἄχρι ⸀οὗ ⸀πληρωθῶσιν καιροὶ ἐθνῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai ⸀esontai semeia en heliῳ kai selenῃ kai astrois, kai epi tes ges synoche ethnon en aporiᾳ ⸀echous thalasses kai salou,
Edified Edition (EDE)And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Καὶ ⸀ἔσονται σημεῖα ἐν ἡλίῳ καὶ σελήνῃ καὶ ἄστροις, καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς συνοχὴ ἐθνῶν ἐν ἀπορίᾳ ⸀ἤχους θαλάσσης καὶ σάλου,

Phonetic (Greek): apopsychonton anthropon apo phobou kai prosdokias ton eperchomenon tῇ oikoumenῃ, ahi gar dynameis ton oyranon saleuthesontai.
Edified Edition (EDE)Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

ἀποψυχόντων ἀνθρώπων ἀπὸ φόβου καὶ προσδοκίας τῶν ἐπερχομένων τῇ οἰκουμένῃ, αἱ γὰρ δυνάμεις τῶν οὐρανῶν σαλευθήσονται.

Phonetic (Greek): kai tote opsontai ton yhion toy anthropou erchomenon en nephelῃ meta dynameos kai doxes polles.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."[/JESUS]

καὶ τότε ὄψονται τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐρχόμενον ἐν νεφέλῃ μετὰ δυνάμεως καὶ δόξης πολλῆς.

Phonetic (Greek): archomenon de toyton ginesthai anakypsate kai eparate tas kephalas hymon, dioti engizei he apolytrosis hymon.
Edified Edition (EDE)And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

ἀρχομένων δὲ τούτων γίνεσθαι ἀνακύψατε καὶ ἐπάρατε τὰς κεφαλὰς ὑμῶν, διότι ἐγγίζει ἡ ἀπολύτρωσις ὑμῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai eipen parabolen aytois· Ἴdete ten syken kai panta ta dendra·
Edified Edition (EDE)And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

Καὶ εἶπεν παραβολὴν αὐτοῖς· Ἴδετε τὴν συκῆν καὶ πάντα τὰ δένδρα·

Phonetic (Greek): hotan probalosin ede, blepontes aphʼ heauton ginoskete hoti ede engys to theros estin·
Edified Edition (EDE)When they now shoot forth, you see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

ὅταν προβάλωσιν ἤδη, βλέποντες ἀφʼ ἑαυτῶν γινώσκετε ὅτι ἤδη ἐγγὺς τὸ θέρος ἐστίν·

Phonetic (Greek): ohytos kai hymeis, hotan idete tayta ginomena, ginoskete hoti engys estin he basileia toy theoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)So likewise you, when you see these things come to pass, know you that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς, ὅταν ἴδητε ταῦτα γινόμενα, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐγγύς ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): amen lego hymin hoti oy me parelthῃ he genea ahyte heos an panta genetai.
Edified Edition (EDE)truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἡ γενεὰ αὕτη ἕως ἂν πάντα γένηται.

Phonetic (Greek): ho oyranos kai he ge ⸀pareleysontai, ohi de logoi mou oy me pareleysontai.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away."[/JESUS]

ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ ⸀παρελεύσονται, οἱ δὲ λόγοι μου οὐ μὴ παρελεύσονται.

Phonetic (Greek): Prosechete de heautois mepote barethosin ⸂hymon ahi kardiai⸃ en kraipalῃ kai methῃ kai merimnais biotikais, kai ⸂epistῇ ephʼ hymas aiphnidios⸃ he hemera ekeine
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly."[/JESUS]

Προσέχετε δὲ ἑαυτοῖς μήποτε βαρηθῶσιν ⸂ὑμῶν αἱ καρδίαι⸃ ἐν κραιπάλῃ καὶ μέθῃ καὶ μερίμναις βιωτικαῖς, καὶ ⸂ἐπιστῇ ἐφʼ ὑμᾶς αἰφνίδιος⸃ ἡ ἡμέρα ἐκείνη

Phonetic (Greek): hos pagis· ⸂epeiseleysetai gar⸃ epi pantas toys kathemenous epi prosopon pases tes ges.
Edified Edition (EDE)For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

ὡς παγίς· ⸂ἐπεισελεύσεται γὰρ⸃ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς καθημένους ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πάσης τῆς γῆς.

Phonetic (Greek): agrypneite ⸀de en panti kairῷ deomenoi hina ⸀katischysete ekphygein ⸀tayta panta ta mellonta ginesthai, kai stathenai emprosthen toy yhioy toy anthropou.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."[/JESUS]

ἀγρυπνεῖτε ⸀δὲ ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ δεόμενοι ἵνα ⸀κατισχύσητε ἐκφυγεῖν ⸀ταῦτα πάντα τὰ μέλλοντα γίνεσθαι, καὶ σταθῆναι ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἦn de tas hemeras ⸂en tῷ hierῷ didaskon⸃, tas de nyktas exerchomenos eylizeto eis to oros to kaloymenon Ἐlaion·
Edified Edition (EDE)And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

Ἦν δὲ τὰς ἡμέρας ⸂ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ διδάσκων⸃, τὰς δὲ νύκτας ἐξερχόμενος ηὐλίζετο εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ καλούμενον Ἐλαιῶν·

Phonetic (Greek): kai pas ho laos orthrizen pros ayton en tῷ hierῷ akoyein aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ὤρθριζεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ ἀκούειν αὐτοῦ.
