Phonetic (Greek): Kai hote engizousin eis Ἱerosolyma eis Bethphage kai Bethanian pros to Ὄros ton Ἐlaion, apostellei dyo ton matheton aytoy
Edified Edition (EDE)Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;

Καὶ ὅτε ἐγγίζουσιν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα εἰς Βηθφαγὴ καὶ Βηθανίαν πρὸς τὸ Ὄρος τῶν Ἐλαιῶν, ἀποστέλλει δύο τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ

Phonetic (Greek): kai legei aytois· Ὑpagete eis ten komen ten katenanti hymon, kai ⸀eythys eisporeuomenoi eis ayten ehyresete polon dedemenon ephʼ hon oydeis ⸀oypo anthropon ⸀ekathisen· ⸂lysate ayton kai pherete⸃.
Edified Edition (EDE)and He said to them, [JESUS]"Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it."[/JESUS]

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ὑπάγετε εἰς τὴν κώμην τὴν κατέναντι ὑμῶν, καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς εἰσπορευόμενοι εἰς αὐτὴν εὑρήσετε πῶλον δεδεμένον ἐφʼ ὃν οὐδεὶς ⸀οὔπω ἀνθρώπων ⸀ἐκάθισεν· ⸂λύσατε αὐτὸν καὶ φέρετε⸃.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ean tis hymin eipῃ· Ti poieite toyto; eipate ⸀hoti Ὁ kyrios aytoy chreian echei· kai ⸀eythys ayton apostellei ⸀palin hode.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And if any man say to you, Why do you this? say you that the Lord has need of him; and immediately he will send him here."[/JESUS]

καὶ ἐάν τις ὑμῖν εἴπῃ· Τί ποιεῖτε τοῦτο; εἴπατε ⸀ὅτι Ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχει· καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς αὐτὸν ἀποστέλλει ⸀πάλιν ὧδε.

Phonetic (Greek): ⸂kai apelthon⸃ kai ehyron polon dedemenon ⸀pros thyran exo epi toy amphodou, kai lyousin ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

⸂καὶ ἀπῆλθον⸃ καὶ εὗρον πῶλον δεδεμένον ⸀πρὸς θύραν ἔξω ἐπὶ τοῦ ἀμφόδου, καὶ λύουσιν αὐτόν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai tines ton ekei hestekoton elegon aytois· Ti poieite lyontes ton polon;
Edified Edition (EDE)And certain of them that stood there said to them, "What do you, loosing the colt?"

καί τινες τῶν ἐκεῖ ἑστηκότων ἔλεγον αὐτοῖς· Τί ποιεῖτε λύοντες τὸν πῶλον;

Phonetic (Greek): ohi de eipan aytois kathos ⸀eipen ho Ἰesoys· kai aphekan aytoys.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they said to them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

οἱ δὲ εἶπαν αὐτοῖς καθὼς ⸀εἶπεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς· καὶ ἀφῆκαν αὐτούς.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ⸀pherousin ton polon pros ton Ἰesoyn, kai ⸀epiballousin aytῷ ta himatia ayton, kai ekathisen epʼ ⸀ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

καὶ ⸀φέρουσιν τὸν πῶλον πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν, καὶ ⸀ἐπιβάλλουσιν αὐτῷ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐπʼ ⸀αὐτόν.

Phonetic (Greek): ⸂kai polloi⸃ ta himatia ayton estrosan eis ten hodon, alloi de stibadas ⸂kopsantes ek ton agron⸃.
Edified Edition (EDE)And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

⸂καὶ πολλοὶ⸃ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν ἔστρωσαν εἰς τὴν ὁδόν, ἄλλοι δὲ στιβάδας ⸂κόψαντες ἐκ τῶν ἀγρῶν⸃.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ohi proagontes kai ohi akolouthoyntes ⸀ekrazon· Ὡsanna· Eylogemenos ho erchomenos en onomati kyriou·
Edified Edition (EDE)And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, "Hosanna; Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord:"

καὶ οἱ προάγοντες καὶ οἱ ἀκολουθοῦντες ⸀ἔκραζον· Ὡσαννά· Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου·

Phonetic (Greek): Eylogemene he erchomene ⸀basileia toy patros hemon Dauid· Ὡsanna en tois hypsistois.
Edified Edition (EDE)"Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest."

Εὐλογημένη ἡ ἐρχομένη ⸀βασιλεία τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν Δαυίδ· Ὡσαννὰ ἐν τοῖς ὑψίστοις.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai eiselthen eis ⸀Ἱerosolyma eis to hieron· kai periblepsamenos panta ⸀opse ede oyses tes horas exelthen eis Bethanian meta ton dodeka.
Edified Edition (EDE)And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

Καὶ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς ⸀Ἱεροσόλυμα εἰς τὸ ἱερόν· καὶ περιβλεψάμενος πάντα ⸀ὀψὲ ἤδη οὔσης τῆς ὥρας ἐξῆλθεν εἰς Βηθανίαν μετὰ τῶν δώδεκα.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai tῇ epayrion exelthonton ayton apo Bethanias epeinasen.
Edified Edition (EDE)And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

Καὶ τῇ ἐπαύριον ἐξελθόντων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ Βηθανίας ἐπείνασεν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai idon syken ⸀apo makrothen echousan phylla elthen ei ara ⸂ti ehyresei⸃ en aytῇ, kai elthon epʼ ayten oyden ehyren ei me phylla, ⸂ho gar kairos oyk en⸃ sykon.
Edified Edition (EDE)And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

καὶ ἰδὼν συκῆν ⸀ἀπὸ μακρόθεν ἔχουσαν φύλλα ἦλθεν εἰ ἄρα ⸂τι εὑρήσει⸃ ἐν αὐτῇ, καὶ ἐλθὼν ἐπʼ αὐτὴν οὐδὲν εὗρεν εἰ μὴ φύλλα, ⸂ὁ γὰρ καιρὸς οὐκ ἦν⸃ σύκων.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ⸀apokritheis eipen aytῇ· Meketi ⸂eis ton aiona ek soy⸃ medeis karpon phagoi. kai ekouon ohi mathetai aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)In response Jesus said to it, [JESUS]"Let no one eat fruit from you ever again."[/JESUS] And His disciples heard it.

καὶ ⸀ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτῇ· Μηκέτι ⸂εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐκ σοῦ⸃ μηδεὶς καρπὸν φάγοι. καὶ ἤκουον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai erchontai eis Ἱerosolyma. kai ⸀eiselthon eis to hieron erxato ekballein toys poloyntas kai ⸀toys agorazontas en tῷ hierῷ, kai tas trapezas ton kollybiston kai tas kathedras ton poloynton tas peristeras katestrepsen
Edified Edition (EDE)So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

Καὶ ἔρχονται εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα. καὶ ⸀εἰσελθὼν εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν ἤρξατο ἐκβάλλειν τοὺς πωλοῦντας καὶ ⸀τοὺς ἀγοράζοντας ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ, καὶ τὰς τραπέζας τῶν κολλυβιστῶν καὶ τὰς καθέδρας τῶν πωλούντων τὰς περιστερὰς κατέστρεψεν

Phonetic (Greek): kai oyk ephien hina tis dienenkῃ skeyos dia toy hieroy,
Edified Edition (EDE)And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

καὶ οὐκ ἤφιεν ἵνα τις διενέγκῃ σκεῦος διὰ τοῦ ἱεροῦ,

Phonetic (Greek): kai edidasken ⸂kai elegen⸃ ⸀aytois· Oy gegraptai hoti Ὁ oikos mou oikos proseuches klethesetai pasin tois ethnesin; hymeis de ⸀pepoiekate ayton spelaion lῃston.
Edified Edition (EDE)Then He taught, saying to them, [JESUS]"Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"[/JESUS]

καὶ ἐδίδασκεν ⸂καὶ ἔλεγεν⸃ ⸀αὐτοῖς· Οὐ γέγραπται ὅτι Ὁ οἶκός μου οἶκος προσευχῆς κληθήσεται πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν; ὑμεῖς δὲ ⸀πεποιήκατε αὐτὸν σπήλαιον λῃστῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ekousan ohi ⸂archiereis kai ohi grammateis⸃, kai ezetoun pos ayton apolesosin· ephoboynto gar ayton, ⸂pas gar⸃ ho ochlos exeplesseto epi tῇ didachῇ aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

καὶ ἤκουσαν οἱ ⸂ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς⸃, καὶ ἐζήτουν πῶς αὐτὸν ἀπολέσωσιν· ἐφοβοῦντο γὰρ αὐτόν, ⸂πᾶς γὰρ⸃ ὁ ὄχλος ἐξεπλήσσετο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai ⸀hotan opse egeneto, ⸀exeporeyonto exo tes poleos.
Edified Edition (EDE)And when even was come, he went out of the city.

Καὶ ⸀ὅταν ὀψὲ ἐγένετο, ⸀ἐξεπορεύοντο ἔξω τῆς πόλεως.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai ⸂paraporeuomenoi proῒ⸃ eidon ten syken exerammenen ek ῥizon.
Edified Edition (EDE)And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

Καὶ ⸂παραπορευόμενοι πρωῒ⸃ εἶδον τὴν συκῆν ἐξηραμμένην ἐκ ῥιζῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai anamnestheis ho Petros legei aytῷ· Ῥabbi, ide he syke hen kateraso exerantai.
Edified Edition (EDE)And Peter calling to remembrance says to Him, "Master, behold, the fig tree which you cursed is withered away."

καὶ ἀναμνησθεὶς ὁ Πέτρος λέγει αὐτῷ· Ῥαββί, ἴδε ἡ συκῆ ἣν κατηράσω ἐξήρανται.

Phonetic (Greek): kai apokritheis ho Ἰesoys legei aytois· Ἔchete pistin theoy·
Edified Edition (EDE)So Jesus answered and said to them, [JESUS]"Have faith in God."[/JESUS]

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ἔχετε πίστιν θεοῦ·

Phonetic (Greek): ⸀amen lego hymin hoti hos an eipῃ tῷ orei toytῳ· Ἄrtheti kai bletheti eis ten thalassan, kai me diakrithῇ en tῇ kardiᾳ aytoy alla ⸀pisteyῃ hoti ⸂ho lalei ginetai, estai aytῷ⸃.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."[/JESUS]

⸀ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ὃς ἂν εἴπῃ τῷ ὄρει τούτῳ· Ἄρθητι καὶ βλήθητι εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, καὶ μὴ διακριθῇ ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ ἀλλὰ ⸀πιστεύῃ ὅτι ⸂ὃ λαλεῖ γίνεται, ἔσται αὐτῷ⸃.

Phonetic (Greek): dia toyto lego hymin, panta hosa ⸂proseychesthe kai aiteisthe⸃, pisteyete hoti ⸀elabete, kai estai hymin.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."[/JESUS]

διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν, πάντα ὅσα ⸂προσεύχεσθε καὶ αἰτεῖσθε⸃, πιστεύετε ὅτι ⸀ἐλάβετε, καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai hotan ⸀stekete proseuchomenoi, aphiete ei ti echete kata tinos, hina kai ho pater hymon ho en tois oyranois aphῇ hymin ta paraptomata ⸀hymon.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses."[/JESUS]

καὶ ὅταν ⸀στήκετε προσευχόμενοι, ἀφίετε εἴ τι ἔχετε κατά τινος, ἵνα καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς ἀφῇ ὑμῖν τὰ παραπτώματα ⸀ὑμῶν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai erchontai palin eis Ἱerosolyma. kai en tῷ hierῷ peripatoyntos aytoy erchontai pros ayton ohi archiereis kai ohi grammateis kai ohi presbyteroi
Edified Edition (EDE)And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

Καὶ ἔρχονται πάλιν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα. καὶ ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ περιπατοῦντος αὐτοῦ ἔρχονται πρὸς αὐτὸν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι
