Chapter 15

Edified Edition (EDE)And Pilate asked Him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" And He answering said to him, [JESUS]"You say it."[/JESUS]

καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν ὁ Πιλᾶτος· Σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς ⸂αὐτῷ λέγει⸃· Σὺ λέγεις.

Phonetic (Greek): kai kategoroun aytoy ohi archiereis polla.

Edified Edition (EDE)And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.

καὶ κατηγόρουν αὐτοῦ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς πολλά.

Phonetic (Greek): kai etypton aytoy ten kephalen kalamῳ kai eneptyon aytῷ, kai tithentes ta gonata prosekynoun aytῷ.

Edified Edition (EDE)And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.

καὶ ἔτυπτον αὐτοῦ τὴν κεφαλὴν καλάμῳ καὶ ἐνέπτυον αὐτῷ, καὶ τιθέντες τὰ γόνατα προσεκύνουν αὐτῷ.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἦn de hora trite kai estayrosan ayton.

Edified Edition (EDE)And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

Ἦν δὲ ὥρα τρίτη καὶ ἐσταύρωσαν αὐτόν.

Phonetic (Greek): ho de Ἰesoys apheis phonen megalen exepneusen.

Edified Edition (EDE)And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.

ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἀφεὶς φωνὴν μεγάλην ἐξέπνευσεν.
