Phonetic (Greek): Kai eiselthen palin ⸀eis synagogen, kai en ekei anthropos exerammenen echon ten cheira.
Edified Edition (EDE)And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand.

Καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πάλιν ⸀εἰς συναγωγήν, καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος ἐξηραμμένην ἔχων τὴν χεῖρα.

Phonetic (Greek): kai pareteroun ayton ei tois sabbasin therapeysei ayton, hina ⸀kategoresosin aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

καὶ παρετήρουν αὐτὸν εἰ τοῖς σάββασιν θεραπεύσει αὐτόν, ἵνα ⸀κατηγορήσωσιν αὐτοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): kai legei tῷ anthropῳ tῷ ⸂ten cheira echonti xeran⸃· ⸀Ἔgeire eis to meson.
Edified Edition (EDE)And he says to the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

καὶ λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τῷ ⸂τὴν χεῖρα ἔχοντι ξηράν⸃· ⸀Ἔγειρε εἰς τὸ μέσον.

Phonetic (Greek): kai legei aytois· Ἔxestin tois sabbasin ⸀agathopoiesai e kakopoiesai, psychen sosai e apokteinai; ohi de esiopon.
Edified Edition (EDE)Then He said to them, [JESUS]"Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?"[/JESUS] But they kept silent.

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ἔξεστιν τοῖς σάββασιν ⸀ἀγαθοποιῆσαι ἢ κακοποιῆσαι, ψυχὴν σῶσαι ἢ ἀποκτεῖναι; οἱ δὲ ἐσιώπων.

Phonetic (Greek): kai periblepsamenos aytoys metʼ orges, syllypoymenos epi tῇ porosei tes kardias ayton, legei tῷ anthropῳ· Ἔkteinon ten ⸀cheira· kai exeteinen, kai apekatestathe he cheir ⸀aytoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, [JESUS]"Stretch out your hand."[/JESUS] And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

καὶ περιβλεψάμενος αὐτοὺς μετʼ ὀργῆς, συλλυπούμενος ἐπὶ τῇ πωρώσει τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν, λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ· Ἔκτεινον τὴν ⸀χεῖρα· καὶ ἐξέτεινεν, καὶ ἀπεκατεστάθη ἡ χεὶρ ⸀αὐτοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): kai exelthontes ohi Pharisaioi ⸀eythys meta ton Ἡrῳdianon symboylion ⸀edidoun katʼ aytoy hopos ayton apolesosin.
Edified Edition (EDE)And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

καὶ ἐξελθόντες οἱ Φαρισαῖοι ⸀εὐθὺς μετὰ τῶν Ἡρῳδιανῶν συμβούλιον ⸀ἐδίδουν κατʼ αὐτοῦ ὅπως αὐτὸν ἀπολέσωσιν.

Edified Edition (EDE)But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

Καὶ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ⸂μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ ἀνεχώρησεν⸃ πρὸς τὴν θάλασσαν· καὶ πολὺ πλῆθος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας ⸀ἠκολούθησεν, καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς Ἰουδαίας

Phonetic (Greek): kai apo Ἱerosolymon kai apo tes Ἰdoumaias ⸀kai peran toy Ἰordanou ⸁kai peri Tyron kai Sidona, plethos poly, ⸀akoyontes hosa ⸀epoiei elthon pros ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came to him.

καὶ ἀπὸ Ἱεροσολύμων καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς Ἰδουμαίας ⸀καὶ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ⸁καὶ περὶ Τύρον καὶ Σιδῶνα, πλῆθος πολύ, ⸀ἀκούοντες ὅσα ⸀ἐποίει ἦλθον πρὸς αὐτόν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai eipen tois mathetais aytoy hina ploiarion proskarterῇ aytῷ dia ton ochlon hina me thlibosin ayton·
Edified Edition (EDE)And he spoke to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.

καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ ἵνα πλοιάριον προσκαρτερῇ αὐτῷ διὰ τὸν ὄχλον ἵνα μὴ θλίβωσιν αὐτόν·

Phonetic (Greek): polloys gar etherapeusen, hoste epipiptein aytῷ hina aytoy hapsontai hosoi eichon mastigas.
Edified Edition (EDE)For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.

πολλοὺς γὰρ ἐθεράπευσεν, ὥστε ἐπιπίπτειν αὐτῷ ἵνα αὐτοῦ ἅψωνται ὅσοι εἶχον μάστιγας.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ta pneymata ta akatharta, hotan ayton ⸂etheoroun, prosepipton⸃ aytῷ kai ⸀ekrazon ⸀legonta hoti Sy ei ho yhios toy theoy.
Edified Edition (EDE)And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, "You are the Son of God."

καὶ τὰ πνεύματα τὰ ἀκάθαρτα, ὅταν αὐτὸν ⸂ἐθεώρουν, προσέπιπτον⸃ αὐτῷ καὶ ⸀ἔκραζον ⸀λέγοντα ὅτι Σὺ εἶ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): kai polla epetima aytois hina me ⸂ayton phaneron⸃ ⸀poiesosin.
Edified Edition (EDE)And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

καὶ πολλὰ ἐπετίμα αὐτοῖς ἵνα μὴ ⸂αὐτὸν φανερὸν⸃ ⸀ποιήσωσιν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai anabainei eis to oros kai proskaleitai ohys ethelen aytos, kai apelthon pros ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)And he goes up into a mountain, and calls to him whom he would: and they came to him.

Καὶ ἀναβαίνει εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ προσκαλεῖται οὓς ἤθελεν αὐτός, καὶ ἀπῆλθον πρὸς αὐτόν.

Edified Edition (EDE)Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,

καὶ ἐποίησεν ⸀δώδεκα, ἵνα ὦσιν μετʼ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἵνα ἀποστέλλῃ αὐτοὺς κηρύσσειν

Edified Edition (EDE)And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out demons:

καὶ ἔχειν ⸀ἐξουσίαν ἐκβάλλειν τὰ δαιμόνια·

Edified Edition (EDE)And Simon he surnamed Peter;

καὶ ⸂ἐποίησεν τοὺς δώδεκα, καὶ⸃ ἐπέθηκεν ⸂ὄνομα τῷ Σίμωνι⸃ Πέτρον,

Edified Edition (EDE)And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, who is, The sons of thunder:

καὶ Ἰάκωβον τὸν τοῦ Ζεβεδαίου καὶ Ἰωάννην τὸν ἀδελφὸν τοῦ Ἰακώβου (καὶ ἐπέθηκεν αὐτοῖς ⸀ὀνόματα Βοανηργές, ὅ ἐστιν Υἱοὶ Βροντῆς),

Edified Edition (EDE)And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

καὶ Ἀνδρέαν καὶ Φίλιππον καὶ Βαρθολομαῖον καὶ Μαθθαῖον καὶ Θωμᾶν καὶ Ἰάκωβον τὸν τοῦ Ἁλφαίου καὶ Θαδδαῖον καὶ Σίμωνα τὸν ⸀Καναναῖον

Phonetic (Greek): kai Ἰoydan ⸀Ἰskarioth, hos kai paredoken ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)And Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

καὶ Ἰούδαν ⸀Ἰσκαριώθ, ὃς καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτόν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai ⸀erchetai eis oikon· kai synerchetai palin ⸀ho ochlos, hoste me dynasthai aytoys ⸀mede arton phagein.
Edified Edition (EDE)And the multitude comes together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

Καὶ ⸀ἔρχεται εἰς οἶκον· καὶ συνέρχεται πάλιν ⸀ὁ ὄχλος, ὥστε μὴ δύνασθαι αὐτοὺς ⸀μηδὲ ἄρτον φαγεῖν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai akoysantes ohi parʼ aytoy exelthon kratesai ayton, elegon gar hoti exeste.
Edified Edition (EDE)And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, "He is beside himself."

καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ παρʼ αὐτοῦ ἐξῆλθον κρατῆσαι αὐτόν, ἔλεγον γὰρ ὅτι ἐξέστη.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ohi grammateis ohi apo Ἱerosolymon katabantes elegon hoti Beelzeboyl echei kai hoti en tῷ archonti ton daimonion ekballei ta daimonia.
Edified Edition (EDE)And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He has Beelzebub, and by the prince of the demons casteth he out demons.

καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς οἱ ἀπὸ Ἱεροσολύμων καταβάντες ἔλεγον ὅτι Βεελζεβοὺλ ἔχει καὶ ὅτι ἐν τῷ ἄρχοντι τῶν δαιμονίων ἐκβάλλει τὰ δαιμόνια.

Phonetic (Greek): kai proskalesamenos aytoys en parabolais elegen aytois· Pos dynatai Satanas Satanan ekballein;
Edified Edition (EDE)So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: [JESUS]"How can Satan cast out Satan?"[/JESUS]

καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος αὐτοὺς ἐν παραβολαῖς ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· Πῶς δύναται Σατανᾶς Σατανᾶν ἐκβάλλειν;

Phonetic (Greek): kai ean basileia ephʼ heauten meristhῇ, oy dynatai stathenai he basileia ekeine·
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand."[/JESUS]

καὶ ἐὰν βασιλεία ἐφʼ ἑαυτὴν μερισθῇ, οὐ δύναται σταθῆναι ἡ βασιλεία ἐκείνη·

Phonetic (Greek): kai ean oikia ephʼ heauten meristhῇ, oy ⸀dynesetai ⸂he oikia ekeine stathenai⸃·
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand."[/JESUS]

καὶ ἐὰν οἰκία ἐφʼ ἑαυτὴν μερισθῇ, οὐ ⸀δυνήσεται ⸂ἡ οἰκία ἐκείνη σταθῆναι⸃·

Phonetic (Greek): kai ei ho Satanas aneste ephʼ heauton kai ⸀emeristhe, oy dynatai ⸀stenai alla telos echei.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but has an end."[/JESUS]

καὶ εἰ ὁ Σατανᾶς ἀνέστη ἐφʼ ἑαυτὸν καὶ ⸀ἐμερίσθη, οὐ δύναται ⸀στῆναι ἀλλὰ τέλος ἔχει.

Phonetic (Greek): ⸂allʼ oydeis dynatai⸃ ⸂eis ten oikian toy ischyroy eiselthon ta skeye⸃ aytoy diarpasai ean me proton ton ischyron desῃ, kai tote ten oikian aytoy ⸀diarpasei.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house."[/JESUS]

⸂ἀλλʼ οὐδεὶς δύναται⸃ ⸂εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν τοῦ ἰσχυροῦ εἰσελθὼν τὰ σκεύη⸃ αὐτοῦ διαρπάσαι ἐὰν μὴ πρῶτον τὸν ἰσχυρὸν δήσῃ, καὶ τότε τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ ⸀διαρπάσει.

Phonetic (Greek): Ἀmen lego hymin hoti panta aphethesetai ⸂tois yhiois ton anthropon, ta hamartemata⸃ kai ⸂ahi blasphemiai hosa ean⸃ blasphemesosin·
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter;[/JESUS]

Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι πάντα ἀφεθήσεται ⸂τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων, τὰ ἁμαρτήματα⸃ καὶ ⸂αἱ βλασφημίαι ὅσα ἐὰν⸃ βλασφημήσωσιν·

Phonetic (Greek): hos dʼ an blasphemesῃ eis to pneyma to hagion, oyk echei aphesin eis ton aiona, alla enochos estin aioniou ⸀hamartematos.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation."[/JESUS]

ὃς δʼ ἂν βλασφημήσῃ εἰς τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, οὐκ ἔχει ἄφεσιν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, ἀλλὰ ἔνοχός ἐστιν αἰωνίου ⸀ἁμαρτήματος.

Edified Edition (EDE)Because they said, He has an unclean spirit.

ὅτι ἔλεγον· Πνεῦμα ἀκάθαρτον ἔχει.

Phonetic (Greek): ⸂Kai erchontai⸃ ⸂he meter aytoy kai ohi adelphoi aytoy⸃ kai exo ⸀stekontes apesteilan pros ayton ⸀kaloyntes ayton.
Edified Edition (EDE)There came then his brothers and his mother, and, standing without, sent to him, calling him.

⸂Καὶ ἔρχονται⸃ ⸂ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ⸃ καὶ ἔξω ⸀στήκοντες ἀπέστειλαν πρὸς αὐτὸν ⸀καλοῦντες αὐτόν.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ekatheto ⸂peri ayton ochlos⸃, ⸂kai legousin⸃ aytῷ· Ἰdoy he meter sou kai ohi adelphoi ⸀sou exo zetoysin se.
Edified Edition (EDE)And the multitude sat about him, and they said to him, "Behold, your mother and your brothers without seek for you."

καὶ ἐκάθητο ⸂περὶ αὐτὸν ὄχλος⸃, ⸂καὶ λέγουσιν⸃ αὐτῷ· Ἰδοὺ ἡ μήτηρ σου καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί ⸀σου ἔξω ζητοῦσίν σε.

Phonetic (Greek): kai ⸂apokritheis aytois legei⸃· Tis estin he meter mou ⸀e ohi adelphoi ⸀mou;
Edified Edition (EDE)But He answered them, saying, [JESUS]"Who is My mother, or My brothers?"[/JESUS]

καὶ ⸂ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτοῖς λέγει⸃· Τίς ἐστιν ἡ μήτηρ μου ⸀ἢ οἱ ἀδελφοί ⸀μου;

Edified Edition (EDE)And He looked around at those who sat about Him and said, [JESUS]"Here are My mother and My brothers![/JESUS]

καὶ περιβλεψάμενος ⸂τοὺς περὶ αὐτὸν κύκλῳ⸃ καθημένους λέγει· Ἴδε ἡ μήτηρ μου καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί μου·

Phonetic (Greek): hos ⸀gar an poiesῃ to thelema toy theoy, ohytos adelphos mou kai ⸀adelphe kai meter estin.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother."[/JESUS]

ὃς ⸀γὰρ ἂν ποιήσῃ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ θεοῦ, οὗτος ἀδελφός μου καὶ ⸀ἀδελφὴ καὶ μήτηρ ἐστίν.
