Edified Edition (EDE)Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.

Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ⸂ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱεροῦ ἐπορεύετο⸃, καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτῷ τὰς οἰκοδομὰς τοῦ ἱεροῦ·

Edified Edition (EDE)And Jesus said to them, [JESUS]"See you not all these things? Truly I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."[/JESUS]

ὁ δὲ ⸀ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Οὐ βλέπετε ⸂ταῦτα πάντα⸃; ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐ μὴ ἀφεθῇ ὧδε λίθος ἐπὶ λίθον ὃς οὐ καταλυθήσεται.

Phonetic (Greek): Kathemenou de aytoy epi toy Ὄrous ton Ἐlaion proselthon aytῷ ohi mathetai katʼ idian legontes· Eipon hemin pote tayta estai, kai ti to semeion tes ses parousias ⸀kai synteleias toy aionos.
Edified Edition (EDE)Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

Καθημένου δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ὄρους τῶν Ἐλαιῶν προσῆλθον αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ κατʼ ἰδίαν λέγοντες· Εἰπὸν ἡμῖν πότε ταῦτα ἔσται, καὶ τί τὸ σημεῖον τῆς σῆς παρουσίας ⸀καὶ συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνος.

Edified Edition (EDE)And Jesus answered and said to them, [JESUS]"Take heed that no one deceives you.[/JESUS]

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς πλανήσῃ·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many."[/JESUS]

πολλοὶ γὰρ ἐλεύσονται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου λέγοντες· Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ χριστός, καὶ πολλοὺς πλανήσουσιν.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."[/JESUS]

μελλήσετε δὲ ἀκούειν πολέμους καὶ ἀκοὰς πολέμων· ὁρᾶτε, μὴ θροεῖσθε· δεῖ ⸀γὰρ γενέσθαι, ἀλλʼ οὔπω ἐστὶν τὸ τέλος.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."[/JESUS]

ἐγερθήσεται γὰρ ἔθνος ἐπὶ ἔθνος καὶ βασιλεία ἐπὶ βασιλείαν, καὶ ἔσονται ⸀λιμοὶ καὶ σεισμοὶ κατὰ τόπους·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"All these are the beginning of sorrows."[/JESUS]

πάντα δὲ ταῦτα ἀρχὴ ὠδίνων.

Phonetic (Greek): Tote paradosousin hymas eis thlipsin kai apoktenoysin hymas, kai esesthe misoymenoi hypo panton ton ethnon dia to onoma mou.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake."[/JESUS]

Τότε παραδώσουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς θλῖψιν καὶ ἀποκτενοῦσιν ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another."[/JESUS]

καὶ τότε σκανδαλισθήσονται πολλοὶ καὶ ἀλλήλους παραδώσουσιν καὶ μισήσουσιν ἀλλήλους·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."[/JESUS]

καὶ πολλοὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐγερθήσονται καὶ πλανήσουσιν πολλούς·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."[/JESUS]

καὶ διὰ τὸ πληθυνθῆναι τὴν ἀνομίαν ψυγήσεται ἡ ἀγάπη τῶν πολλῶν.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved."[/JESUS]

ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται.

Phonetic (Greek): kai kerychthesetai toyto to eyangelion tes basileias en holῃ tῇ oikoumenῃ eis martyrion pasin tois ethnesin, kai tote hexei to telos.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."[/JESUS]

καὶ κηρυχθήσεται τοῦτο τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς βασιλείας ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ εἰς μαρτύριον πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τότε ἥξει τὸ τέλος.

Phonetic (Greek): Ὅtan oyn idete to bdelygma tes eremoseos to ῥethen dia Daniel toy prophetou ⸀hestos en topῳ hagiῳ, ho anaginoskon noeito,
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand:)"[/JESUS]

Ὅταν οὖν ἴδητε τὸ βδέλυγμα τῆς ἐρημώσεως τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Δανιὴλ τοῦ προφήτου ⸀ἑστὸς ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ, ὁ ἀναγινώσκων νοείτω,

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Then let those who be in Judaea flee into the mountains:"[/JESUS]

τότε οἱ ἐν τῇ Ἰουδαίᾳ φευγέτωσαν ⸀ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη,

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:"[/JESUS]

ὁ ἐπὶ τοῦ δώματος μὴ ⸀καταβάτω ἆραι τὰ ἐκ τῆς οἰκίας αὐτοῦ,

καὶ ὁ ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ μὴ ἐπιστρεψάτω ὀπίσω ἆραι ⸂τὸ ἱμάτιον⸃ αὐτοῦ.

οὐαὶ δὲ ταῖς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσαις καὶ ταῖς θηλαζούσαις ἐν ἐκείναις ταῖς ἡμέραις.

προσεύχεσθε δὲ ἵνα μὴ γένηται ἡ φυγὴ ὑμῶν χειμῶνος μηδὲ σαββάτῳ·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be."[/JESUS]

ἔσται γὰρ τότε θλῖψις μεγάλη οἵα οὐ γέγονεν ἀπʼ ἀρχῆς κόσμου ἕως τοῦ νῦν οὐδʼ οὐ μὴ γένηται.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."[/JESUS]

καὶ εἰ μὴ ἐκολοβώθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι ἐκεῖναι, οὐκ ἂν ἐσώθη πᾶσα σάρξ· διὰ δὲ τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς κολοβωθήσονται αἱ ἡμέραι ἐκεῖναι.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not."[/JESUS]

τότε ἐάν τις ὑμῖν εἴπῃ· Ἰδοὺ ὧδε ὁ χριστός, ἤ· Ὧδε, μὴ πιστεύσητε·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."[/JESUS]

ἐγερθήσονται γὰρ ψευδόχριστοι καὶ ψευδοπροφῆται, καὶ δώσουσιν σημεῖα μεγάλα καὶ τέρατα ὥστε ⸀πλανῆσαι εἰ δυνατὸν καὶ τοὺς ἐκλεκτούς·

ἐὰν οὖν εἴπωσιν ὑμῖν· Ἰδοὺ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐστίν, μὴ ἐξέλθητε· Ἰδοὺ ἐν τοῖς ταμείοις, μὴ πιστεύσητε·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."[/JESUS]

ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ ἐξέρχεται ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ φαίνεται ἕως δυσμῶν, οὕτως ⸀ἔσται ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"[/JESUS]

Εὐθέως δὲ μετὰ τὴν θλῖψιν τῶν ἡμερῶν ἐκείνων ὁ ἥλιος σκοτισθήσεται, καὶ ἡ σελήνη οὐ δώσει τὸ φέγγος αὐτῆς, καὶ οἱ ἀστέρες πεσοῦνται ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ αἱ δυνάμεις τῶν οὐρανῶν σαλευθήσονται.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."[/JESUS]

καὶ τότε φανήσεται τὸ σημεῖον τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐν ⸀τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ τότε κόψονται πᾶσαι αἱ φυλαὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ὄψονται τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐρχόμενον ἐπὶ τῶν νεφελῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ μετὰ δυνάμεως καὶ δόξης πολλῆς·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."[/JESUS]

καὶ ἀποστελεῖ τοὺς ἀγγέλους αὐτοῦ μετὰ ⸀σάλπιγγος μεγάλης, καὶ ἐπισυνάξουσιν τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ἀνέμων ἀπʼ ἄκρων οὐρανῶν ἕως ⸀τῶν ἄκρων αὐτῶν.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putts forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh:"[/JESUS]

Ἀπὸ δὲ τῆς συκῆς μάθετε τὴν παραβολήν· ὅταν ἤδη ὁ κλάδος αὐτῆς γένηται ἁπαλὸς καὶ τὰ φύλλα ἐκφύῃ, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐγγὺς τὸ θέρος·

Phonetic (Greek): ohytos kai hymeis, hotan idete ⸂panta tayta⸃, ginoskete hoti engys estin epi thyrais.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors."[/JESUS]

οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς, ὅταν ἴδητε ⸂πάντα ταῦτα⸃, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐγγύς ἐστιν ἐπὶ θύραις.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Truly I tell you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."[/JESUS]

ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ⸀ὅτι οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἡ γενεὰ αὕτη ἕως ἂν πάντα ταῦτα γένηται.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away."[/JESUS]

ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ ⸀παρελεύσεται, οἱ δὲ λόγοι μου οὐ μὴ παρέλθωσιν.

Περὶ δὲ τῆς ἡμέρας ἐκείνης καὶ ὥρας οὐδεὶς οἶδεν, οὐδὲ οἱ ἄγγελοι τῶν οὐρανῶν ⸂οὐδὲ ὁ υἱός⸃, εἰ μὴ ὁ ⸀πατὴρ μόνος.

ὥσπερ ⸀γὰρ αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ Νῶε, οὕτως ⸀ἔσται ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου·

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,"[/JESUS]

⸀ὡς γὰρ ἦσαν ἐν ταῖς ⸀ἡμέραις ταῖς πρὸ τοῦ κατακλυσμοῦ τρώγοντες καὶ πίνοντες, γαμοῦντες καὶ ⸀γαμίζοντες, ἄχρι ἧς ἡμέρας εἰσῆλθεν Νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν,

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."[/JESUS]

καὶ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν ἕως ἦλθεν ὁ κατακλυσμὸς καὶ ἦρεν ἅπαντας, οὕτως ἔσται ⸀καὶ ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."[/JESUS]

τότε ⸂δύο ἔσονται⸃ ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ, ⸀εἷς παραλαμβάνεται καὶ ⸁εἷς ἀφίεται·

Phonetic (Greek): dyo alethousai en tῷ ⸀mylῳ, mia paralambanetai kai mia aphietai.
Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left."[/JESUS]

δύο ἀλήθουσαι ἐν τῷ ⸀μύλῳ, μία παραλαμβάνεται καὶ μία ἀφίεται.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.[/JESUS]

γρηγορεῖτε οὖν, ὅτι οὐκ οἴδατε ποίᾳ ⸀ἡμέρᾳ ὁ κύριος ὑμῶν ἔρχεται.

Edified Edition (EDE)[JESUS]"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up."[/JESUS]

ἐκεῖνο δὲ γινώσκετε ὅτι εἰ ᾔδει ὁ οἰκοδεσπότης ποίᾳ φυλακῇ ὁ κλέπτης ἔρχεται, ἐγρηγόρησεν ἂν καὶ οὐκ ἂν εἴασεν διορυχθῆναι τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ.

διὰ τοῦτο καὶ ὑμεῖς γίνεσθε ἕτοιμοι, ὅτι ᾗ ⸂οὐ δοκεῖτε ὥρᾳ⸃ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἔρχεται.

Τίς ἄρα ἐστὶν ὁ πιστὸς δοῦλος καὶ φρόνιμος ὃν κατέστησεν ὁ ⸀κύριος ἐπὶ τῆς ⸀οἰκετείας αὐτοῦ τοῦ ⸀δοῦναι αὐτοῖς τὴν τροφὴν ἐν καιρῷ;

καὶ διχοτομήσει αὐτὸν καὶ τὸ μέρος αὐτοῦ μετὰ τῶν ὑποκριτῶν θήσει· ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων.
