Chapter 15

Edified Edition (EDE)And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Καὶ εἶδον ἄλλο σημεῖον ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ μέγα καὶ θαυμαστόν, ἀγγέλους ἑπτὰ ἔχοντας πληγὰς ἑπτὰ τὰς ἐσχάτας, ὅτι ἐν αὐταῖς ἐτελέσθη ὁ θυμὸς τοῦ θεοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai eidon hos thalassan hyalinen memigmenen pyri, kai toys nikontas ek toy theriou kai ek tes eikonos aytoy kai ek toy arithmoy toy onomatos aytoy hestotas epi ten thalassan ten hyalinen, echontas kitharas toy theoy.

Edified Edition (EDE)And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and those who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Καὶ εἶδον ὡς θάλασσαν ὑαλίνην μεμιγμένην πυρί, καὶ τοὺς νικῶντας ἐκ τοῦ θηρίου καὶ ἐκ τῆς εἰκόνος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκ τοῦ ἀριθμοῦ τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ ἑστῶτας ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν ὑαλίνην, ἔχοντας κιθάρας τοῦ θεοῦ.

Phonetic (Greek): kai adousin ten oden Moyseos toy doylou toy theoy kai ten oden toy arniou legontes· Megala kai thaumasta ta erga sou, kyrie, ho theos, ho pantokrator· dikaiai kai alethinai ahi hodoi sou, ho basileys ton ⸀aionon·

Edified Edition (EDE)And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvellous are Your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Your ways, You King of saints."

καὶ ᾄδουσιν τὴν ᾠδὴν Μωϋσέως τοῦ δούλου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὴν ᾠδὴν τοῦ ἀρνίου λέγοντες· Μεγάλα καὶ θαυμαστὰ τὰ ἔργα σου, κύριε, ὁ θεός, ὁ παντοκράτωρ· δίκαιαι καὶ ἀληθιναὶ αἱ ὁδοί σου, ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν ⸀αἰώνων·

Phonetic (Greek): tis oy me ⸀phobethῇ, kyrie, kai ⸀doxasei to onoma sou, hoti monos ⸀hosios; hoti panta ta ethne hexousin kai proskynesousin enopion sou, hoti ta dikaiomata sou ephanerothesan.

Edified Edition (EDE)"Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? for You only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your judgements are made manifest."

τίς οὐ μὴ ⸀φοβηθῇ, κύριε, καὶ ⸀δοξάσει τὸ ὄνομά σου, ὅτι μόνος ⸀ὅσιος; ὅτι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἥξουσιν καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν ἐνώπιόν σου, ὅτι τὰ δικαιώματά σου ἐφανερώθησαν.

Phonetic (Greek): Kai meta tayta eidon, kai enoige ho naos tes skenes toy martyriou en tῷ oyranῷ,

Edified Edition (EDE)And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἶδον, καὶ ἠνοίγη ὁ ναὸς τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ,

Phonetic (Greek): kai exelthon ohi hepta angeloi ohi echontes tas hepta plegas ek toy naoy, ⸀endedymenoi ⸀linon katharon lampron kai periezosmenoi peri ta stethe zonas chrysas.

Edified Edition (EDE)And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

καὶ ἐξῆλθον οἱ ἑπτὰ ἄγγελοι οἱ ἔχοντες τὰς ἑπτὰ πληγὰς ἐκ τοῦ ναοῦ, ⸀ἐνδεδυμένοι ⸀λίνον καθαρὸν λαμπρὸν καὶ περιεζωσμένοι περὶ τὰ στήθη ζώνας χρυσᾶς.

Phonetic (Greek): kai hen ek ton tessaron zῴon edoken tois hepta angelois hepta phialas chrysas gemoysas toy thymoy toy theoy toy zontos eis toys aionas ton aionon.

Edified Edition (EDE)And one of the four beasts gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.

καὶ ἓν ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ζῴων ἔδωκεν τοῖς ἑπτὰ ἀγγέλοις ἑπτὰ φιάλας χρυσᾶς γεμούσας τοῦ θυμοῦ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ζῶντος εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.

Phonetic (Greek): kai egemisthe ho naos kapnoy ek tes doxes toy theoy kai ek tes dynameos aytoy, kai oydeis edynato eiselthein eis ton naon achri telesthosin ahi hepta plegai ton hepta angelon.

Edified Edition (EDE)And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power; and no one was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

καὶ ἐγεμίσθη ὁ ναὸς καπνοῦ ἐκ τῆς δόξης τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐκ τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδύνατο εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὸν ναὸν ἄχρι τελεσθῶσιν αἱ ἑπτὰ πληγαὶ τῶν ἑπτὰ ἀγγέλων.
