Chapter 36

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'ashsah֩ betzale'e֨l ve'aholiy'a֜b veko֣l ׀ 'i֣yshsh chakam-le֗b 'ashsher֩ nata֨n yehva֜h chakema֤h utebunah֙ bּahe֔mּah lada֣'at la'ashso֔t 'eֽt-kּal-mele֖'ket 'aboda֣t haqּo֑deshsh leko֥l 'ashsher-tziua֖h yehvaֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)Then wrought Bezalel and Oholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.

וְעָשָׂה֩ בְצַלְאֵ֨ל וְאָהֳלִיאָ֜ב וְכֹ֣ל ׀ אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם־לֵ֗ב אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֜ה חָכְמָ֤ה וּתְבוּנָה֙ בָּהֵ֔מָּה לָדַ֣עַת לַעֲשֹׂ֔ת אֶֽת־כָּל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ לְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּiqera֣ moshshe֗h 'el-bּetzale'e֘l ve'el-'aֽholiy'ab֒ ve'el֙ kּal-'i֣yshsh chakam-le֔b 'ashshe֨r nata֧n yehva֛h chakema֖h bּelibּ֑o kּo֚l 'ashshe֣r neshsa'֣o libּ֔o leqareba֥h 'el-hamּela'ka֖h la'ashso֥t 'otaֽhּ׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it.

וַיִּקְרָ֣א מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶל־בְּצַלְאֵ֘ל וְאֶל־אָֽהֳלִיאָב֒ וְאֶל֙ כָּל־אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם־לֵ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה חָכְמָ֖ה בְּלִבּ֑וֹ כֹּ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר נְשָׂא֣וֹ לִבּ֔וֹ לְקָרְבָ֥ה אֶל־הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽהּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּiqech֞u milּipene֣y moshshe֗h 'e֤t kּal-hatּerumah֙ 'ashshe֨r hebi֜y'u bּene֣y yishsera'e֗l limele֛'ket 'aboda֥t haqּo֖deshsh la'ashso֣t 'ota֑hּ ve֠hem hebi֨y'u 'ela֥yv '֛od nedaba֖h bּabּo֥qer bּabּoֽqer׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

וַיִּקְח֞וּ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֵ֤ת כָּל־הַתְּרוּמָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֵבִ֜יאוּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לִמְלֶ֛אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ לַעֲשֹׂ֣ת אֹתָ֑הּ וְ֠הֵם הֵבִ֨יאוּ אֵלָ֥יו ע֛וֹד נְדָבָ֖ה בַּבֹּ֥קֶר בַּבֹּֽקֶר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּabo֨'u֙ kּal-ha֣chakami֔ym ha'oshsi֕ym 'e֖t kּal-mele֣'ket haqּo֑deshsh 'iֽyshsh-'i֥yshsh mimּela'ketּ֖o 'ashsher-he֥mּah 'oshsiֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ כָּל־הַ֣חֲכָמִ֔ים הָעֹשִׂ֕ים אֵ֖ת כָּל־מְלֶ֣אכֶת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אִֽישׁ־אִ֥ישׁ מִמְּלַאכְתּ֖וֹ אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֥מָּה עֹשִֽׂים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo'meru֙ 'el-moshshe֣h lּe'mo֔r marebּi֥ym ha'a֖m lehabi֑y midּe֤y haֽ'abodah֙ lamּela'ka֔h 'ashsher-tziua֥h yehva֖h la'ashso֥t 'otaֽhּ׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they spoke unto Moses, saying, "The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make."

וַיֹּאמְרוּ֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֣ה לֵּאמֹ֔ר מַרְבִּ֥ים הָעָ֖ם לְהָבִ֑יא מִדֵּ֤י הָֽעֲבֹדָה֙ לַמְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽהּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayetza֣v moshshe֗h vayּa'abi֨yru q֥ol bּaֽmּachaneh֮ le'mor֒ 'i֣yshsh ve'ishshּa֗h 'al-ya'ashsu-'֛od mela'ka֖h literuma֣t haqּo֑deshsh vayּikּale֥ ha'a֖m mehabiֽy'׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, "Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary." So the people were restrained from bringing.

וַיְצַ֣ו מֹשֶׁ֗ה וַיַּעֲבִ֨ירוּ ק֥וֹל בַּֽמַּחֲנֶה֮ לֵאמֹר֒ אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה אַל־יַעֲשׂוּ־ע֛וֹד מְלָאכָ֖ה לִתְרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וַיִּכָּלֵ֥א הָעָ֖ם מֵהָבִֽיא׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehamּela'ka֗h hayeta֥h dayּa֛m lekal-hamּela'ka֖h la'ashs֣ot 'ota֑hּ vehoteֽr׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

וְהַמְּלָאכָ֗ה הָיְתָ֥ה דַיָּ֛ם לְכָל־הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת אֹתָ֑הּ וְהוֹתֵֽר׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa'ashs֨u kal-chakam-le֜b bּe'oshse֧y hamּela'ka֛h 'et-hamּishshekּa֖n 'e֣shser yeriy'o֑t shshe֣shsh mashsheza֗r uteke֤let ve'aregּaman֙ vetola֣'at shshani֔y kּerubi֛ym ma'ashse֥h choshshe֖b 'ashsa֥h 'otaֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And every wise-hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubim of skilled work made he them.

וַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּ כָל־חֲכַם־לֵ֜ב בְּעֹשֵׂ֧י הַמְּלָאכָ֛ה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן עֶ֣שֶׂר יְרִיעֹ֑ת שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּתְכֵ֤לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י כְּרֻבִ֛ים מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): o֜reke hayeriy'a֣h haֽ'acha֗t shshemone֤h ve'eshseriym֙ bּaֽ'amּa֔h vero֨chab֙ 'arebּa֣ bּaֽ'amּa֔h hayeriy'a֖h ha'echa֑t midּa֥h 'acha֖t lekal-hayeriy'oֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.

אֹ֜רֶךְ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָֽאַחַ֗ת שְׁמֹנֶ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֨חַב֙ אַרְבַּ֣ע בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה הַיְרִיעָ֖ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לְכָל־הַיְרִיעֹֽת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayechabּer֙ 'et-chame֣shsh hayeriy'o֔t 'acha֖t 'el-'echa֑t vechame֤shsh yeriy'ot֙ chibּa֔r 'acha֖t 'el-'echaֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.

וַיְחַבֵּר֙ אֶת־חֲמֵ֣שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָ֑ת וְחָמֵ֤שׁ יְרִיעֹת֙ חִבַּ֔ר אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָֽת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֜'ashs luֽle'o֣t tּeke֗let 'a֣l shsepa֤t hayeriy'ah֙ haֽ'echa֔t miqּatza֖h bּamּachebּa֑ret kּe֤n 'ashsah֙ bּishsepa֣t hayeriy'a֔h haqּi֣ytzona֔h bּamּachebּe֖ret hashshּeniֽyt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.

וַיַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלְאֹ֣ת תְּכֵ֗לֶת עַ֣ל שְׂפַ֤ת הַיְרִיעָה֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת מִקָּצָ֖ה בַּמַּחְבָּ֑רֶת כֵּ֤ן עָשָׂה֙ בִּשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַקִּ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה בַּמַּחְבֶּ֖רֶת הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): chamishshּi֣ym lula'o֗t 'ashsah֮ bּayeriy'a֣h ha'echat֒ vachamishshּi֣ym lula'o֗t 'ashsah֙ bּiqetze֣h hayeriy'a֔h 'ashshe֖r bּamּachebּe֣ret hashshּeni֑yt maqebּiylot֙ halּu֣la'o֔t 'acha֖t 'el-'echaֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֮ בַּיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָת֒ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ בִּקְצֵ֣ה הַיְרִיעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בַּמַּחְבֶּ֣רֶת הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית מַקְבִּילֹת֙ הַלֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָֽת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֕'ashs chamishshּi֖ym qarese֣y zaha֑b vayechabּe֨r 'et-hayeri'o֜t 'acha֤t 'el-'achat֙ bּaqּerasi֔ym vaֽyehi֥y hamּishshekּa֖n 'echaֽd׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.

וַיַּ֕עַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים קַרְסֵ֣י זָהָ֑ב וַיְחַבֵּ֨ר אֶת־הַיְרִעֹ֜ת אַחַ֤ת אֶל־אַחַת֙ בַּקְּרָסִ֔ים וַֽיְהִ֥י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן אֶחָֽד׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֨'ashs֙ yeriy'o֣t 'izּi֔ym le'o֖hel 'al-hamּishshekּa֑n 'ashshetּeֽy-'eshsere֥h yeriy'o֖t 'ashsa֥h 'otaֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ֙ יְרִיעֹ֣ת עִזִּ֔ים לְאֹ֖הֶל עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַשְׁתֵּֽי־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה יְרִיעֹ֖ת עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): o֜reke hayeriy'a֣h ha'acha֗t shsheloshshiym֙ bּaֽ'amּa֔h ve'arebּa֣ 'amּ֔ot ro֖chab hayeriy'a֣h ha'echa֑t midּa֣h 'acha֔t le'ashshetּe֥y 'eshsere֖h yeriy'oֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.

אֹ֜רֶךְ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאַחַ֗ת שְׁלֹשִׁים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֣ע אַמּ֔וֹת רֹ֖חַב הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֣ה אַחַ֔ת לְעַשְׁתֵּ֥י עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה יְרִיעֹֽת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayechabּe֛r 'et-chame֥shsh hayeriy'o֖t leba֑d ve'et-shshe֥shsh hayeriy'o֖t lebaֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

וַיְחַבֵּ֛ר אֶת־חֲמֵ֥שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֖ת לְבָ֑ד וְאֶת־שֵׁ֥שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֖ת לְבָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֜'ashs luֽla'o֣t chamishshּi֗ym 'a֚l shsepa֣t hayeriy'a֔h haqּiytzona֖h bּamּachebּa֑ret vachamishshּi֣ym lula'o֗t 'ashsah֙ 'al-shsepa֣t hayeriy'a֔h hachobe֖ret hashshּeniֽyt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.

וַיַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלָאֹ֣ת חֲמִשִּׁ֗ים עַ֚ל שְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַקִּיצֹנָ֖ה בַּמַּחְבָּ֑רֶת וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ עַל־שְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַחֹבֶ֖רֶת הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֛'ashs qarese֥y necho֖shshet chamishshּi֑ym lechabּe֥r 'et-ha'o֖hel liֽheyo֥t 'echaֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made fifty taches of bronze to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

וַיַּ֛עַשׂ קַרְסֵ֥י נְחֹ֖שֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁ֑ים לְחַבֵּ֥ר אֶת־הָאֹ֖הֶל לִֽהְיֹ֥ת אֶחָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֤'ashs mikeseh֙ la'o֔hel 'oro֥t 'eli֖ym me'adּami֑ym umikese֛h 'oro֥t tּechashshi֖ym milemaֽ'elah׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that.

וַיַּ֤עַשׂ מִכְסֶה֙ לָאֹ֔הֶל עֹרֹ֥ת אֵלִ֖ים מְאָדָּמִ֑ים וּמִכְסֵ֛ה עֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֥'ashs 'et-haqּerashshi֖ym lamּishshekּa֑n 'atze֥y shshitּi֖ym 'omediֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up.

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁ֖ים לַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּ֖ים עֹמְדִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): e֥shser 'amּo֖t 'o֣reke haqּa֑reshsh ve'amּah֙ vachatzi֣y haֽ'amּa֔h ro֖chab haqּe֥reshsh ha'echaֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.

עֶ֥שֶׂר אַמֹּ֖ת אֹ֣רֶךְ הַקָּ֑רֶשׁ וְאַמָּה֙ וַחֲצִ֣י הָֽאַמָּ֔ה רֹ֖חַב הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָאֶחָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): shshetּe֣y yado֗t laqּe֨reshsh֙ haֽ'echa֔d meshshulּabo֔t 'acha֖t 'el-'echa֑t kּe֣n 'ashsa֔h leko֖l qareshshe֥y hamּishshekּaֽn׃

Edified Edition (EDE)One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

שְׁתֵּ֣י יָדֹ֗ת לַקֶּ֨רֶשׁ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ד מְשֻׁלָּבֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָ֑ת כֵּ֣ן עָשָׂ֔ה לְכֹ֖ל קַרְשֵׁ֥י הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֥'ashs 'et-haqּerashshi֖ym lamּishshekּa֑n 'eshseri֣ym qerashshi֔ym lipe'a֖t ne֥geb tּeymaֽnah׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁ֖ים לַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עֶשְׂרִ֣ים קְרָשִׁ֔ים לִפְאַ֖ת נֶ֥גֶב תֵּימָֽנָה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'arebּa'iym֙ 'adeney-ke֔sep 'ashsa֕h tּa֖chat 'eshseri֣ym haqּerashshi֑ym shshene֨y 'adani֜ym tּaֽchat-haqּe֤reshsh ha'echad֙ lishshetּe֣y yedota֔yv ushshene֧y 'adani֛ym tּaֽchat-haqּe֥reshsh ha'echa֖d lishshetּe֥y yedotaֽyv׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.

וְאַרְבָּעִים֙ אַדְנֵי־כֶ֔סֶף עָשָׂ֕ה תַּ֖חַת עֶשְׂרִ֣ים הַקְּרָשִׁ֑ים שְׁנֵ֨י אֲדָנִ֜ים תַּֽחַת־הַקֶּ֤רֶשׁ הָאֶחָד֙ לִשְׁתֵּ֣י יְדֹתָ֔יו וּשְׁנֵ֧י אֲדָנִ֛ים תַּֽחַת־הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָאֶחָ֖ד לִשְׁתֵּ֥י יְדֹתָֽיו׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): uletze֧la hamּishshekּa֛n hashshּeni֖yt lipe'a֣t tzap֑on 'ashsa֖h 'eshseri֥ym qerashshiֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,

וּלְצֶ֧לַע הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית לִפְאַ֣ת צָפ֑וֹן עָשָׂ֖ה עֶשְׂרִ֥ים קְרָשִֽׁים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'arebּa'i֥ym 'adeneyhe֖m kּa֑sep shshene֣y 'adani֗ym tּa֚chat haqּe֣reshsh ha'echa֔d ushshene֣y 'adani֔ym tּa֖chat haqּe֥reshsh ha'echaֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

וְאַרְבָּעִ֥ים אַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם כָּ֑סֶף שְׁנֵ֣י אֲדָנִ֗ים תַּ֚חַת הַקֶּ֣רֶשׁ הָאֶחָ֔ד וּשְׁנֵ֣י אֲדָנִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָאֶחָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): uֽleyarekּete֥y hamּishshekּa֖n ya֑mּah 'ashsa֖h shshishshּa֥h qerashshiֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.

וּֽלְיַרְכְּתֵ֥י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יָ֑מָּה עָשָׂ֖ה שִׁשָּׁ֥ה קְרָשִֽׁים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ushshene֤y qerashshiym֙ 'ashsa֔h limequtze'o֖t hamּishshekּa֑n bּayּarekataֽyim׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.

וּשְׁנֵ֤י קְרָשִׁים֙ עָשָׂ֔ה לִמְקֻצְעֹ֖ת הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן בַּיַּרְכָתָֽיִם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehay֣u to'amim֮ milּematּah֒ veyachedּa֗v yihey֤u tamּiym֙ 'el-ro'shsh֔o 'el-hatּabּa֖'at ha'echa֑t kּe֚n 'ashsa֣h lishsheneyhe֔m lishshene֖y hamּiqetzo'oֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.

וְהָי֣וּ תוֹאֲמִם֮ מִלְּמַטָּה֒ וְיַחְדָּ֗ו יִהְי֤וּ תַמִּים֙ אֶל־רֹאשׁ֔וֹ אֶל־הַטַּבַּ֖עַת הָאֶחָ֑ת כֵּ֚ן עָשָׂ֣ה לִשְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם לִשְׁנֵ֖י הַמִּקְצֹעֹֽת׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.

וְהָיוּ֙ שְׁמֹנָ֣ה קְרָשִׁ֔ים וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֣ם כֶּ֔סֶף שִׁשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר אֲדָנִ֑ים שְׁנֵ֤י אֲדָנִים֙ שְׁנֵ֣י אֲדָנִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָאֶחָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֥'ashs bּeriyche֖y 'atze֣y shshitּi֑ym chamishshּa֕h leqareshshe֥y tzeֽla'-hamּishshekּa֖n ha'echaֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made bars of acacia wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ בְּרִיחֵ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים חֲמִשָּׁ֕ה לְקַרְשֵׁ֥י צֶֽלַע־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן הָאֶחָֽת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vachamishshּa֣h beriychi֔m leqareshshe֥y tzeֽla'-hamּishshekּa֖n hashshּeni֑yt vachamishshּa֤h beriychim֙ leqareshshe֣y hamּishshekּa֔n layּarekata֖yim yaֽmּah׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.

וַחֲמִשָּׁ֣ה בְרִיחִ֔ם לְקַרְשֵׁ֥י צֶֽלַע־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית וַחֲמִשָּׁ֤ה בְרִיחִם֙ לְקַרְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן לַיַּרְכָתַ֖יִם יָֽמָּה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֖'ashs 'et-habּeri֣ycha hatּiyko֑n libero֨cha֙ bּet֣oke haqּerashshi֔ym min-haqּatze֖h 'el-haqּatzeֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.

וַיַּ֖עַשׂ אֶת־הַבְּרִ֣יחַ הַתִּיכֹ֑ן לִבְרֹ֨חַ֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הַקְּרָשִׁ֔ים מִן־הַקָּצֶ֖ה אֶל־הַקָּצֶֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): veֽ'et-haqּerashshi֞ym tzipּa֣h zaha֗b ve'et-tabּe'otam֙ 'ashsa֣h zaha֔b bּatּi֖ym labּeriychi֑m vayetza֥p 'et-habּeriychi֖m zahaֽb׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

וְֽאֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁ֞ים צִפָּ֣ה זָהָ֗ב וְאֶת־טַבְּעֹתָם֙ עָשָׂ֣ה זָהָ֔ב בָּתִּ֖ים לַבְּרִיחִ֑ם וַיְצַ֥ף אֶת־הַבְּרִיחִ֖ם זָהָֽב׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֨'ashs֙ 'et-hapּaro֔ket tּeke֧let ve'aregּama֛n vetola֥'at shshani֖y veshshe֣shsh mashsheza֑r ma'ashse֥h choshshe֛b 'ashsa֥h 'ota֖hּ kּerubiֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubim made he it of skilled work.

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ֙ אֶת־הַפָּרֹ֔כֶת תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֑ר מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֛ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָ֖הּ כְּרֻבִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֣'ashs la֗hּ 'arebּa'ah֙ 'amּude֣y shshitּi֔ym vayetzapּe֣m zaha֔b vaveyhe֖m zaha֑b vayּitzo֣q lahe֔m 'arebּa'a֖h 'adeney-kaֽsep׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made thereunto four pillars of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

וַיַּ֣עַשׂ לָ֗הּ אַרְבָּעָה֙ עַמּוּדֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וַיְצַפֵּ֣ם זָהָ֔ב וָוֵיהֶ֖ם זָהָ֑ב וַיִּצֹ֣ק לָהֶ֔ם אַרְבָּעָ֖ה אַדְנֵי־כָֽסֶף׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֤'ashs masake֙ lepe֣tach ha'o֔hel tּeke֧let ve'aregּama֛n vetola֥'at shshani֖y veshshe֣shsh mashsheza֑r ma'ashse֖h roqeֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made a hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;

וַיַּ֤עַשׂ מָסָךְ֙ לְפֶ֣תַח הָאֹ֔הֶל תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֑ר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֹקֵֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-'amּuda֤yv chamishshּah֙ ve'et-va֣veyhe֔m vetzipּa֧h ra'shsheyhe֛m vachashshuqeyhe֖m zaha֑b ve'adeneyhe֥m chamishshּa֖h nechoֽshshet׃p

Edified Edition (EDE)And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of bronze.

וְאֶת־עַמּוּדָ֤יו חֲמִשָּׁה֙ וְאֶת־וָ֣וֵיהֶ֔ם וְצִפָּ֧ה רָאשֵׁיהֶ֛ם וַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶ֖ם זָהָ֑ב וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֥ם חֲמִשָּׁ֖ה נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃פ
