Chapter 39

Phonetic (Hebrew): umin-hatּeke֤let vehaֽ'aregּaman֙ vetola֣'at hashshּani֔y 'ashs֥u bigedey-shsera֖d leshshare֣t bּaqּo֑deshsh vaֽyּa'ashs֞u 'et-bּigede֤y haqּo֨deshsh֙ 'ashshe֣r le'aharo֔n kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃p

Edified Edition (EDE)And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.

וּמִן־הַתְּכֵ֤לֶת וְהָֽאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתוֹלַ֣עַת הַשָּׁנִ֔י עָשׂ֥וּ בִגְדֵי־שְׂרָ֖ד לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֞וּ אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֤י הַקֹּ֨דֶשׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְאַהֲרֹ֔ן כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃פ

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֖'ashs 'et-ha'epo֑d zaha֗b tּeke֧let ve'aregּama֛n vetola֥'at shshani֖y veshshe֥shsh mashshezaֽr׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

וַיַּ֖עַשׂ אֶת־הָאֵפֹ֑ד זָהָ֗ב תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מָשְׁזָֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyeraqּe'֞u 'et-pּache֣y hazּahab֮ veqitzּe֣tz pּetiylim֒ la'ashs֗ot bּet֤oke hatּeke֨let֙ ubet֣oke haֽ'aregּama֔n ubet֛oke tּola֥'at hashshּani֖y ubet֣oke hashshּe֑shsh ma'ashse֖h choshsheֽb׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with skilled work.

וַֽיְרַקְּע֞וּ אֶת־פַּחֵ֣י הַזָּהָב֮ וְקִצֵּ֣ץ פְּתִילִם֒ לַעֲשׂ֗וֹת בְּת֤וֹךְ הַתְּכֵ֨לֶת֙ וּבְת֣וֹךְ הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֔ן וּבְת֛וֹךְ תּוֹלַ֥עַת הַשָּׁנִ֖י וּבְת֣וֹךְ הַשֵּׁ֑שׁ מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה חֹשֵֽׁב׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּetepo֥t 'aֽshsu-l֖o chobero֑t 'al-shshene֥y qtzvvtv qetzota֖yv chubּaֽr׃

Edified Edition (EDE)They made shoulder-pieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.

כְּתֵפֹ֥ת עָֽשׂוּ־ל֖וֹ חֹבְרֹ֑ת עַל־שְׁנֵ֥י קצוותו קְצוֹתָ֖יו חֻבָּֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): veche֨shsheb 'apudּat֜o 'ashshe֣r 'ala֗yv mimּe֣nּu hu'֮ kּema'ashsehu֒ zaha֗b tּeke֧let ve'aregּama֛n vetola֥'at shshani֖y veshshe֣shsh mashsheza֑r kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.

וְחֵ֨שֶׁב אֲפֻדָּת֜וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלָ֗יו מִמֶּ֣נּוּ הוּא֮ כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ֒ זָהָ֗ב תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֑ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּa'ashsu֙ 'et-'abene֣y hashshּo֔ham muֽsabּo֖t mishshebּetzo֣t zaha֑b meputּachot֙ pּitּuche֣y chota֔m 'al-shshem֖ot bּene֥y yishsera'eֽl׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they wrought onyx stones enclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙ אֶת־אַבְנֵ֣י הַשֹּׁ֔הַם מֻֽסַבֹּ֖ת מִשְׁבְּצֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב מְפֻתָּחֹת֙ פִּתּוּחֵ֣י חוֹתָ֔ם עַל־שְׁמ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֣shsem 'ota֗m 'a֚l kּitepo֣t ha'epo֔d 'abene֥y zikּar֖on libene֣y yishsera'e֑l kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃p

Edified Edition (EDE)And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

וַיָּ֣שֶׂם אֹתָ֗ם עַ֚ל כִּתְפֹ֣ת הָאֵפֹ֔ד אַבְנֵ֥י זִכָּר֖וֹן לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃פ

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֧'ashs 'et-hacho֛shshen ma'ashse֥h choshshe֖b kּema'ashse֣h 'epo֑d zaha֗b tּeke֧let ve'aregּama֛n vetola֥'at shshani֖y veshshe֥shsh mashshezaֽr׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made the breastplate of skilled work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

וַיַּ֧עַשׂ אֶת־הַחֹ֛שֶׁן מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֵפֹ֑ד זָהָ֗ב תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מָשְׁזָֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): rab֧u'a haya֛h kּap֖ul 'ashs֣u 'et-hacho֑shshen ze֧ret 'arekּ֛o veze֥ret rachebּ֖o kּapֽul׃

Edified Edition (EDE)It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.

רָב֧וּעַ הָיָ֛ה כָּפ֖וּל עָשׂ֣וּ אֶת־הַחֹ֑שֶׁן זֶ֧רֶת אָרְכּ֛וֹ וְזֶ֥רֶת רָחְבּ֖וֹ כָּפֽוּל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayemale'u-b֔o 'arebּa'a֖h t֣urey 'a֑ben t֗ur 'o֤dem pּitedah֙ ubare֔qet hatּ֖ur ha'echaֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.

וַיְמַלְאוּ־ב֔וֹ אַרְבָּעָ֖ה ט֣וּרֵי אָ֑בֶן ט֗וּר אֹ֤דֶם פִּטְדָה֙ וּבָרֶ֔קֶת הַטּ֖וּר הָאֶחָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehatּ֖ur hashshּeni֑y no֥peke sapּi֖yr veyahaloֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

וְהַטּ֖וּר הַשֵּׁנִ֑י נֹ֥פֶךְ סַפִּ֖יר וְיָהֲלֹֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehatּ֖ur hashshּeliyshshi֑y le֥shshem shsheb֖o ve'achelaֽmah׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

וְהַטּ֖וּר הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י לֶ֥שֶׁם שְׁב֖וֹ וְאַחְלָֽמָה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehatּur֙ haֽrebiy'i֔y tּareshshi֥yshsh shsho֖ham veyashshepe֑h mֽusabּo֛t mishshebּetz֥ot zaha֖b bּemilּu'otaֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were enclosed in ouches of gold in their enclosings.

וְהַטּוּר֙ הָֽרְבִיעִ֔י תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ שֹׁ֖הַם וְיָשְׁפֵ֑ה מֽוּסַבֹּ֛ת מִשְׁבְּצ֥וֹת זָהָ֖ב בְּמִלֻּאֹתָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve֠ha'abaniym 'al-shshemo֨t bּeney-yishsera'e֥l he֛nּah shshetּe֥ym 'eshsere֖h 'al-shshemota֑m pּitּuche֤y chotam֙ 'i֣yshsh 'al-shshem֔o lishshene֥ym 'ashsa֖r shshaֽbet׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

וְ֠הָאֲבָנִים עַל־שְׁמֹ֨ת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל הֵ֛נָּה שְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה עַל־שְׁמֹתָ֑ם פִּתּוּחֵ֤י חֹתָם֙ אִ֣ישׁ עַל־שְׁמ֔וֹ לִשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר שָֽׁבֶט׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa'ashs֧u 'al-hacho֛shshen shshareshshero֥t gּabelu֖t ma'ashse֣h 'abo֑t zaha֖b tahֽor׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.

וַיַּעֲשׂ֧וּ עַל־הַחֹ֛שֶׁן שַׁרְשְׁרֹ֥ת גַּבְלֻ֖ת מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה עֲבֹ֑ת זָהָ֖ב טָהֽוֹר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּa'ashs֗u shshetּey֙ mishshebּetzo֣t zaha֔b ushshetּe֖y tabּe'o֣t zaha֑b vֽayּitּen֗u 'et-shshetּey֙ hatּabּa'o֔t 'al-shshene֖y qetz֥ot hachoֽshshen׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.

וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֗וּ שְׁתֵּי֙ מִשְׁבְּצֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב וּשְׁתֵּ֖י טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּ אֶת־שְׁתֵּי֙ הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַל־שְׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַחֹֽשֶׁן׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּitּen֗u shshetּey֙ ha'aboto֣t hazּaha֔b 'al-shshetּe֖y hatּabּa'o֑t 'al-qetz֖ot hachoֽshshen׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּ שְׁתֵּי֙ הָעֲבֹתֹ֣ת הַזָּהָ֔ב עַל־שְׁתֵּ֖י הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת עַל־קְצ֖וֹת הַחֹֽשֶׁן׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'e֨t shshetּe֤y qetzot֙ shshetּe֣y haֽ'aboto֔t naten֖u 'al-shshetּe֣y haֽmּishshebּetzo֑t vaֽyּitּenu֛m 'al-kּitepo֥t ha'epo֖d 'el-m֥ul pּanaֽyv׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, before it.

וְאֵ֨ת שְׁתֵּ֤י קְצוֹת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י הָֽעֲבֹתֹ֔ת נָתְנ֖וּ עַל־שְׁתֵּ֣י הַֽמִּשְׁבְּצֹ֑ת וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֛ם עַל־כִּתְפֹ֥ת הָאֵפֹ֖ד אֶל־מ֥וּל פָּנָֽיו׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּa'ashs֗u shshetּey֙ tabּe'o֣t zaha֔b vayּashsi֕ymu 'al-shshene֖y qetz֣ot hacho֑shshen 'al-shsepat֕o 'ashshe֛r 'el-'e֥ber ha'epo֖d bּaֽyetah׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.

וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֗וּ שְׁתֵּי֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב וַיָּשִׂ֕ימוּ עַל־שְׁנֵ֖י קְצ֣וֹת הַחֹ֑שֶׁן עַל־שְׂפָת֕וֹ אֲשֶׁ֛ר אֶל־עֵ֥בֶר הָאֵפֹ֖ד בָּֽיְתָה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּa'ashsu֮ shshetּe֣y tabּe'o֣t zahab֒ vaֽyּitּenu֡m 'al-shshetּey֩ kitepo֨t ha'epo֤d milema֨tּah֙ mimּ֣ul pּana֔yv le'umּa֖t mechebּaretּ֑o mimּa֕'al leche֖shsheb ha'epoֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֮ שְׁתֵּ֣י טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָב֒ וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֡ם עַל־שְׁתֵּי֩ כִתְפֹ֨ת הָאֵפֹ֤ד מִלְמַ֨טָּה֙ מִמּ֣וּל פָּנָ֔יו לְעֻמַּ֖ת מֶחְבַּרְתּ֑וֹ מִמַּ֕עַל לְחֵ֖שֶׁב הָאֵפֹֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּirekּes֣u 'et-hacho֡shshen mitּabּe'otayv֩ 'el-tabּe'o֨t ha'epo֜d bּipeti֣yl tּeke֗let liֽheyot֙ 'al-che֣shsheb ha'epo֔d veloֽ'-yizּa֣ch hacho֔shshen me'a֖l ha'epo֑d kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they did bind the breastplate by its rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

וַיִּרְכְּס֣וּ אֶת־הַחֹ֡שֶׁן מִטַּבְּעֹתָיו֩ אֶל־טַבְּעֹ֨ת הָאֵפֹ֜ד בִּפְתִ֣יל תְּכֵ֗לֶת לִֽהְיֹת֙ עַל־חֵ֣שֶׁב הָאֵפֹ֔ד וְלֹֽא־יִזַּ֣ח הַחֹ֔שֶׁן מֵעַ֖ל הָאֵפֹ֑ד כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֛'ashs 'et-me'i֥yl ha'epo֖d ma'ashse֣h 'ore֑g kּeli֖yl tּekeֽlet׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

וַיַּ֛עַשׂ אֶת־מְעִ֥יל הָאֵפֹ֖ד מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֑ג כְּלִ֖יל תְּכֵֽלֶת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): upiֽy-hamּe'i֥yl bּetok֖o kּepi֣y tachera֑ shsapa֥h lepi֛yv sabi֖yb lo֥ yiqּareֽ'a׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.

וּפִֽי־הַמְּעִ֥יל בְּתוֹכ֖וֹ כְּפִ֣י תַחְרָ֑א שָׂפָ֥ה לְפִ֛יו סָבִ֖יב לֹ֥א יִקָּרֵֽעַ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּa'ashsu֙ 'al-shshule֣y hamּe'i֔yl rimּone֕y tּeke֥let ve'aregּama֖n vetola֣'at shshani֑y mashshezaֽr׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙ עַל־שׁוּלֵ֣י הַמְּעִ֔יל רִמּוֹנֵ֕י תְּכֵ֥לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֖ן וְתוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֑י מָשְׁזָֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa'ashs֥u pa'amone֖y zaha֣b tah֑or vayּitּen֨u 'et-hapּaֽ'amoni֜ym bּet֣oke harimּoni֗ym 'al-shshule֤y hamּe'iyl֙ sabi֔yb bּet֖oke harimּoniֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

וַיַּעֲשׂ֥וּ פַעֲמֹנֵ֖י זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ אֶת־הַפַּֽעֲמֹנִ֜ים בְּת֣וֹךְ הָרִמֹּנִ֗ים עַל־שׁוּלֵ֤י הַמְּעִיל֙ סָבִ֔יב בְּת֖וֹךְ הָרִמֹּנִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): pּa'amo֤n verimּon֙ pּa'amo֣n verimּo֔n 'al-shshule֥y hamּe'i֖yl sabi֑yb leshshare֕t kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.

פַּעֲמֹ֤ן וְרִמֹּן֙ פַּעֲמֹ֣ן וְרִמֹּ֔ן עַל־שׁוּלֵ֥י הַמְּעִ֖יל סָבִ֑יב לְשָׁרֵ֕ת כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): vֽayּa'ashs֛u 'et-hakּateno֥t shshe֖shsh ma'ashse֣h 'ore֑g le'aharo֖n ulebanaֽyv׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ אֶת־הַכָּתְנֹ֥ת שֵׁ֖שׁ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֑ג לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָֽיו׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et֙ hamּitzene֣pet shshe֔shsh ve'et-pּa'are֥y hamּigebּa'o֖t shshe֑shsh ve'et-mikenese֥y habּa֖d shshe֥shsh mashshezaֽr׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,

וְאֵת֙ הַמִּצְנֶ֣פֶת שֵׁ֔שׁ וְאֶת־פַּאֲרֵ֥י הַמִּגְבָּעֹ֖ת שֵׁ֑שׁ וְאֶת־מִכְנְסֵ֥י הַבָּ֖ד שֵׁ֥שׁ מָשְׁזָֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): veֽ'et-ha'abene֞t shshe֣shsh mashsheza֗r uteke֧let ve'aregּama֛n vetola֥'at shshani֖y ma'ashse֣h roqe֑m kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.

וְֽאֶת־הָאַבְנֵ֞ט שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּתְכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה רֹקֵ֑ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): vֽayּa'ashs֛u 'et-tzi֥ytz neֽzer-haqּo֖deshsh zaha֣b tah֑or vayּiketּeb֣u 'ala֗yv miketּab֙ pּitּuche֣y chota֔m qo֖deshsh layhvaֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ אֶת־צִ֥יץ נֵֽזֶר־הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וַיִּכְתְּב֣וּ עָלָ֗יו מִכְתַּב֙ פִּתּוּחֵ֣י חוֹתָ֔ם קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהוָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּitּen֤u 'alayv֙ pּeti֣yl tּeke֔let late֥t 'al-hamּitzene֖pet milema֑'elah kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshsheֽh׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ עָלָיו֙ פְּתִ֣יל תְּכֵ֔לֶת לָתֵ֥ת עַל־הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת מִלְמָ֑עְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): vatּe֕kel kּal-'aboda֕t mishshekּa֖n 'o֣hel mo'e֑d vaֽyּa'ashsu֙ bּene֣y yishsera'e֔l kּe֠kol 'ashshe֨r tziua֧h yehva֛h 'et-moshshe֖h kּe֥n 'ashsֽu׃p

Edified Edition (EDE)Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

וַתֵּ֕כֶל כָּל־עֲבֹדַ֕ת מִשְׁכַּ֖ן אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֖ה כֵּ֥ן עָשֽׂוּ׃פ

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּabi֤y'u 'et-hamּishshekּan֙ 'el-moshshe֔h 'et-ha'o֖hel ve'et-kּal-kּela֑yv qerasa֣yv qerashsha֔yv brychv bּeriycha֖yv ve'amּuda֥yv va'adanaֽyv׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all its furniture, its taches, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets,

וַיָּבִ֤יאוּ אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶת־הָאֹ֖הֶל וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֑יו קְרָסָ֣יו קְרָשָׁ֔יו בריחו בְּרִיחָ֖יו וְעַמֻּדָ֥יו וַאֲדָנָֽיו׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-mikese֞h 'oro֤t haֽ'eylim֙ hame'adּami֔ym ve'et-mikese֖h 'oro֣t hatּechashshi֑ym ve'e֖t pּaro֥ket hamּasaֽke׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil of the covering,

וְאֶת־מִכְסֵ֞ה עוֹרֹ֤ת הָֽאֵילִם֙ הַמְאָדָּמִ֔ים וְאֶת־מִכְסֵ֖ה עֹרֹ֣ת הַתְּחָשִׁ֑ים וְאֵ֖ת פָּרֹ֥כֶת הַמָּסָֽךְ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et-'aro֥n ha'edu֖t ve'et-bּadּa֑yv ve'e֖t hakּapּoֽret׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The ark of the Testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,

אֶת־אֲרֹ֥ן הָעֵדֻ֖ת וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֑יו וְאֵ֖ת הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et-hashshּulechan֙ 'et-kּal-kּela֔yv ve'e֖t le֥chem hapּaniֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the showbread,

אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ אֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֔יו וְאֵ֖ת לֶ֥חֶם הַפָּנִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et-hamּenora֨h hatּehora֜h 'et-nerote֗yha nero֛t hamּaֽ'araka֖h ve'et-kּal-kּele֑yha ve'e֖t shshe֥men hamּa'ֽor׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The pure lampstand, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,

אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָ֨ה הַטְּהֹרָ֜ה אֶת־נֵרֹתֶ֗יהָ נֵרֹ֛ת הַמַּֽעֲרָכָ֖ה וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֥מֶן הַמָּאֽוֹר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et֙ mizebּa֣ch hazּaha֔b ve'et֙ shshe֣men hamּishshecha֔h ve'e֖t qeto֣ret hasּamּi֑ym ve'e֕t masa֖ke pּe֥tach ha'oֽhel׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

וְאֵת֙ מִזְבַּ֣ח הַזָּהָ֔ב וְאֵת֙ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת קְטֹ֣רֶת הַסַּמִּ֑ים וְאֵ֕ת מָסַ֖ךְ פֶּ֥תַח הָאֹֽהֶל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): e֣t ׀ mizebּa֣ch hanּecho֗shshet ve'et-mikebּa֤r hanּecho֨shshet֙ 'ashsher-l֔o 'et-bּadּa֖yv ve'et-kּal-kּela֑yv 'et-hakּiyּo֖r ve'et-kּanּֽo׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The bronze altar, and its grate of bronze, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its foot,

אֵ֣ת ׀ מִזְבַּ֣ח הַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת וְאֶת־מִכְבַּ֤ר הַנְּחֹ֨שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁר־ל֔וֹ אֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֑יו אֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־כַּנּֽוֹ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et֩ qale'e֨y hechatze֜r 'et-'amּude֣yha ve'et-'adane֗yha ve'et-hamּasake֙ leshsha֣'ar heֽchatze֔r 'et-meytara֖yv viytedote֑yha ve'e֗t kּal-kּele֛y 'aboda֥t hamּishshekּa֖n le'o֥hel mo'eֽd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The hangings of the courtyard, its pillars, and its sockets, and the hanging for the courtyard gate, its cords, and its pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

אֵת֩ קַלְעֵ֨י הֶחָצֵ֜ר אֶת־עַמֻּדֶ֣יהָ וְאֶת־אֲדָנֶ֗יהָ וְאֶת־הַמָּסָךְ֙ לְשַׁ֣עַר הֶֽחָצֵ֔ר אֶת־מֵיתָרָ֖יו וִיתֵדֹתֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֗ת כָּל־כְּלֵ֛י עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן לְאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et-bּigede֥y hashsּera֖d leshshare֣t bּaqּo֑deshsh 'et-bּigede֤y haqּo֨deshsh֙ le'aharo֣n hakּohe֔n ve'et-bּigede֥y bana֖yv lekaheֽn׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.

אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י הַשְּׂרָ֖ד לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֤י הַקֹּ֨דֶשׁ֙ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְאֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י בָנָ֖יו לְכַהֵֽן׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּeko֛l 'ashsher-tziua֥h yehva֖h 'et-moshshe֑h kּe֤n 'ashsu֙ bּene֣y yishsera'e֔l 'e֖t kּal-ha'abodaֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֑ה כֵּ֤ן עָשׂוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֖ת כָּל־הָעֲבֹדָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֨re moshshe֜h 'et-kּal-hamּela'ka֗h vehinּeh֙ 'ashs֣u 'ota֔hּ kּa'ashshe֛r tziua֥h yehva֖h kּe֣n 'ashs֑u vayeba֥reke 'ota֖m moshsheֽh׃p

Edified Edition (EDE)And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

וַיַּ֨רְא מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־כָּל־הַמְּלָאכָ֗ה וְהִנֵּה֙ עָשׂ֣וּ אֹתָ֔הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה כֵּ֣ן עָשׂ֑וּ וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ אֹתָ֖ם מֹשֶֽׁה׃פ
