Chapter 4
1
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֤'an moshsheh֙ vayּo֔'mer vehen֙ loֽ'-ya'ami֣ynu li֔y velo֥ yishsheme'֖u bּeqoli֑y kּi֣y yoֽ'mer֔u loֽ'-nire'a֥h 'ele֖yka yehvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But Moses answered, "What if they don't believe me or listen to what I say? They might say, 'the LORD never appeared to you.'"

וַיַּ֤עַן מֹשֶׁה֙ וַיֹּ֔אמֶר וְהֵן֙ לֹֽא־יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ לִ֔י וְלֹ֥א יִשְׁמְע֖וּ בְּקֹלִ֑י כִּ֣י יֹֽאמְר֔וּ לֹֽא־נִרְאָ֥ה אֵלֶ֖יךָ יְהוָֽה׃

2
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֧'mer 'ela֛yv yehva֖h mzh mah-zּe֣h beyade֑ka vayּo֖'mer matּeֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then the LORD asked him, "What is that in your hand?" Moses replied, "A staff."

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר אֵלָ֛יו יְהוָ֖ה מזה מַה־זֶּ֣ה בְיָדֶ֑ךָ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר מַטֶּֽה׃

3
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֨'mer֙ hashsheliyke֣hu 'a֔retzah vayּashsheliyke֥hu 'a֖retzah vayehi֣y lenacha֑shsh vayּa֥nas moshshe֖h mipּanaֽyv׃
Edified Edition (EDE)God said, "Throw it on the ground." When Moses threw it down, it turned into a snake, and Moses ran away from it!

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ הַשְׁלִיכֵ֣הוּ אַ֔רְצָה וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵ֥הוּ אַ֖רְצָה וַיְהִ֣י לְנָחָ֑שׁ וַיָּ֥נָס מֹשֶׁ֖ה מִפָּנָֽיו׃

4
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֤'mer yehvah֙ 'el-moshshe֔h shshelach֙ yaֽdeka֔ ve'echo֖z bּizenab֑o vayּishshela֤ch yado֙ vayּa֣chazeq bּ֔o vayehi֥y lematּe֖h bּekapּֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But the LORD said to him, "Reach out your hand and grab it by the tail." So Moses reached out and caught it, and it turned back into a staff in his hand.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה שְׁלַח֙ יָֽדְךָ֔ וֶאֱחֹ֖ז בִּזְנָב֑וֹ וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יָדוֹ֙ וַיַּ֣חֲזֶק בּ֔וֹ וַיְהִ֥י לְמַטֶּ֖ה בְּכַפּֽוֹ׃

5
Phonetic (Hebrew): lema֣'an ya'ami֔ynu kּiֽy-nire'a֥h 'ele֛yka yehva֖h 'elohe֣y 'abota֑m 'elohe֧y 'aberaha֛m 'elohe֥y yitzecha֖q ve'lohe֥y ya'aqoֽb׃
Edified Edition (EDE)God explained, "This is so they may believe that the LORD, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has really appeared to you."

לְמַ֣עַן יַאֲמִ֔ינוּ כִּֽי־נִרְאָ֥ה אֵלֶ֛יךָ יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבֹתָ֑ם אֱלֹהֵ֧י אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִצְחָ֖ק וֵאלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃

6
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo'mer֩ yehva֨h l֜o '֗od haֽbe'-na֤ yaֽdeka֙ bּecheyqe֔ka vayּabe֥ yad֖o bּecheyq֑o vayּ֣otzi'a֔hּ vehinּe֥h yad֖o metzora֥'at kּashshּaֽleg׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then the LORD said, "Put your hand inside your cloak." Moses did so, and when he took it out, his hand was covered in a white disease like snow.

וַיֹּאמֶר֩ יְהוָ֨ה ל֜וֹ ע֗וֹד הָֽבֵא־נָ֤א יָֽדְךָ֙ בְּחֵיקֶ֔ךָ וַיָּבֵ֥א יָד֖וֹ בְּחֵיק֑וֹ וַיּ֣וֹצִאָ֔הּ וְהִנֵּ֥ה יָד֖וֹ מְצֹרַ֥עַת כַּשָּֽׁלֶג׃

7
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֗'mer hashshe֤b yaֽdeka֙ 'el-cheyqe֔ka vayּa֥shsheb yad֖o 'el-cheyq֑o vayּֽotzi'ahּ֙ meֽcheyq֔o vehinּeh-shsha֖bah kּibeshsarֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Put your hand back into your cloak," God said. So Moses did, and when he pulled it out again, it was completely healed like the rest of his skin.

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הָשֵׁ֤ב יָֽדְךָ֙ אֶל־חֵיקֶ֔ךָ וַיָּ֥שֶׁב יָד֖וֹ אֶל־חֵיק֑וֹ וַיּֽוֹצִאָהּ֙ מֵֽחֵיק֔וֹ וְהִנֵּה־שָׁ֖בָה כִּבְשָׂרֽוֹ׃

8
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehayah֙ 'im-lo֣ ya'ami֣ynu la֔ke velo֣ yishsheme'֔u leqo֖l ha'o֣t hari'shsh֑on veheֽ'emi֔ynu leqo֖l ha'o֥t ha'acharֽon׃
Edified Edition (EDE)the LORD said, "If they don't believe you or follow the first sign, they will believe the message of the second sign."

וְהָיָה֙ אִם־לֹ֣א יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ לָ֔ךְ וְלֹ֣א יִשְׁמְע֔וּ לְקֹ֖ל הָאֹ֣ת הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן וְהֶֽאֱמִ֔ינוּ לְקֹ֖ל הָאֹ֥ת הָאַחֲרֽוֹן׃

9
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehaya֡h 'im-lo֣ ya'ami֡ynu gּam֩ lishshene֨y ha'ot֜ot ha'e֗lּeh velo֤ yishsheme'un֙ leqole֔ka velaqachetּa֙ mimּeyme֣y haye'o֔r veshshapaketּa֖ hayּabּashsha֑h vehay֤u hamּa֨yim֙ 'ashshe֣r tּiqּa֣ch min-haye'o֔r vehay֥u leda֖m bּayּabּaֽshshet׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"And if they don't believe these two signs or listen to you, then take some water from the Nile River and pour it on the dry land. The water you take will turn into blood on the ground."

וְהָיָ֡ה אִם־לֹ֣א יַאֲמִ֡ינוּ גַּם֩ לִשְׁנֵ֨י הָאֹת֜וֹת הָאֵ֗לֶּה וְלֹ֤א יִשְׁמְעוּן֙ לְקֹלֶ֔ךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ֙ מִמֵּימֵ֣י הַיְאֹ֔ר וְשָׁפַכְתָּ֖ הַיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה וְהָי֤וּ הַמַּ֨יִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּקַּ֣ח מִן־הַיְאֹ֔ר וְהָי֥וּ לְדָ֖ם בַּיַּבָּֽשֶׁת׃

10
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֨'mer moshshe֣h 'el-yehvah֮ bּi֣y 'adonay֒ lo'֩ 'i֨yshsh dּebari֜ym 'ano֗kiy gּa֤m mitּemol֙ gּa֣m mishshּileshsho֔m gּa֛m me'a֥z dּabּereka 'el-'abedּe֑ka kּi֧y kebad-pּe֛h ukeba֥d lashsh֖on 'anoֽkiy׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Moses said to the LORD, "O LORD, I have [1] (never been a good speaker), not in the past and not even since you have been talking to me. I struggle to speak clearly and I am [2] (slow with words)."

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֣ה אֶל־יְהוָה֮ בִּ֣י אֲדֹנָי֒ לֹא֩ אִ֨ישׁ דְּבָרִ֜ים אָנֹ֗כִי גַּ֤ם מִתְּמוֹל֙ גַּ֣ם מִשִּׁלְשֹׁ֔ם גַּ֛ם מֵאָ֥ז דַּבֶּרְךָ אֶל־עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ כִּ֧י כְבַד־פֶּ֛ה וּכְבַ֥ד לָשׁ֖וֹן אָנֹֽכִי׃

11
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֨'mer yehva֜h 'ela֗yv mi֣y shsa֣m pּeh֮ laֽ'adam֒ '֚o miֽy-yashs֣um 'ilּe֔m '֣o chere֔shsh '֥o piqּe֖cha '֣o 'iue֑r halo֥ 'anoki֖y yehvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)the LORD said to him, "[3] (Who made a person's mouth)? Who makes them unable to speak or hear? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD?"

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלָ֗יו מִ֣י שָׂ֣ם פֶּה֮ לָֽאָדָם֒ א֚וֹ מִֽי־יָשׂ֣וּם אִלֵּ֔ם א֣וֹ חֵרֵ֔שׁ א֥וֹ פִקֵּ֖חַ א֣וֹ עִוֵּ֑ר הֲלֹ֥א אָנֹכִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃

12
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'atּa֖h le֑ke ve'anokiy֙ 'eֽheye֣h 'im-pּi֔yka vehoreyti֖yka 'ashshe֥r tּedabּeֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Now go! I will be with your mouth and I will teach you the exact words to say."

וְעַתָּ֖ה לֵ֑ךְ וְאָנֹכִי֙ אֶֽהְיֶ֣ה עִם־פִּ֔יךָ וְהוֹרֵיתִ֖יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תְּדַבֵּֽר׃

13
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֖'mer bּi֣y 'adona֑y shsheֽlaֽch-na֖ bּeyad-tּishshelaֽch׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But Moses pleaded, "O My Lord, [4] (please send someone else)!"

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר בִּ֣י אֲדֹנָ֑י שְֽׁלַֽח־נָ֖א בְּיַד־תִּשְׁלָֽח׃

14
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּiֽchar-'a֨p yehva֜h bּemoshshe֗h vayּo֨'mer֙ halo֨ 'aharo֤n 'achi֨yka֙ halּevi֔y yada֕'etּiy kּiֽy-dabּe֥r yedabּe֖r h֑u vega֤m hinּeh-hu'֙ yotze֣ liqera'te֔ka vera'aka֖ veshsama֥ch bּelibּֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)At this, the LORD became angry with Moses. He said, "What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he is a good speaker. He is actually on his way to meet you right now and will be very happy to see you."

וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֨ף יְהוָ֜ה בְּמֹשֶׁ֗ה וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ הֲלֹ֨א אַהֲרֹ֤ן אָחִ֨יךָ֙ הַלֵּוִ֔י יָדַ֕עְתִּי כִּֽי־דַבֵּ֥ר יְדַבֵּ֖ר ה֑וּא וְגַ֤ם הִנֵּה־הוּא֙ יֹצֵ֣א לִקְרָאתֶ֔ךָ וְרָאֲךָ֖ וְשָׂמַ֥ח בְּלִבּֽוֹ׃

15
Phonetic (Hebrew): vedibּaretּa֣ 'ela֔yv veshsametּa֥ 'et-hadּebari֖ym bּepi֑yv ve'anoki֗y 'eֽheye֤h 'im-pּi֨yka֙ ve'im-pּi֔yhu vehoreyti֣y 'eteke֔m 'e֖t 'ashshe֥r tּa'ashsֽun׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"You will speak to him and tell him what to say. I will be with both of you when you speak and show you both what to do."

וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ אֵלָ֔יו וְשַׂמְתָּ֥ אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים בְּפִ֑יו וְאָנֹכִ֗י אֶֽהְיֶ֤ה עִם־פִּ֨יךָ֙ וְעִם־פִּ֔יהוּ וְהוֹרֵיתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם אֵ֖ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּעֲשֽׂוּן׃

16
Phonetic (Hebrew): vedibּer-h֥u leka֖ 'el-ha'a֑m veha֤yah hu'֙ yiֽheyeh-lּeka֣ lepe֔h ve'atּa֖h tּiֽheyeh-lּ֥o leֽ'lohiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"He will speak to the people for you. He will be your spokesman, and you will be like God to him, telling him what to say."

וְדִבֶּר־ה֥וּא לְךָ֖ אֶל־הָעָ֑ם וְהָ֤יָה הוּא֙ יִֽהְיֶה־לְּךָ֣ לְפֶ֔ה וְאַתָּ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶה־לּ֥וֹ לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

17
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-hamּatּe֥h hazּe֖h tּiqּa֣ch bּeyade֑ka 'ashshe֥r tּa'ashseh-bּ֖o 'et-ha'otoֽt׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)"And make sure you take this staff with you, so you can perform the miraculous signs with it."

וְאֶת־הַמַּטֶּ֥ה הַזֶּ֖ה תִּקַּ֣ח בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּעֲשֶׂה־בּ֖וֹ אֶת־הָאֹתֹֽת׃פ

18
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּe֨leke moshshe֜h vayּa֣shshab ׀ 'el-ye֣ter choֽten֗o vayּo֤'mer lo֙ 'e֣lakah nּa֗ ve'ashsh֨ubah֙ 'el-'acha֣y 'ashsher-bּemitzera֔yim ve'ere'e֖h ha'oda֣m chayּi֑ym vayּo֧'mer yiter֛o lemoshshe֖h le֥ke leshshalֽom׃
Edified Edition (EDE)So Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro and said, "Please let me return to my family in Egypt to see if they are still alive." Jethro told him, "Go in peace."

וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ מֹשֶׁ֜ה וַיָּ֣שָׁב ׀ אֶל־יֶ֣תֶר חֹֽתְנ֗וֹ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ אֵ֣לֲכָה נָּ֗א וְאָשׁ֨וּבָה֙ אֶל־אַחַ֣י אֲשֶׁר־בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְאֶרְאֶ֖ה הַעוֹדָ֣ם חַיִּ֑ים וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יִתְר֛וֹ לְמֹשֶׁ֖ה לֵ֥ךְ לְשָׁלֽוֹם׃

19
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֨'mer yehva֤h 'el-moshsheh֙ bּemideya֔n le֖ke shshu֣b mitzera֑yim kּiy-me֨tu֙ kּal-ha֣'anashshi֔ym haֽmebaqeshshi֖ym 'et-napeshsheֽka׃
Edified Edition (EDE)While Moses was still in Midian, the LORD told him, "Go back to Egypt, because all the men who wanted to kill you are now dead."

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֤ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה֙ בְּמִדְיָ֔ן לֵ֖ךְ שֻׁ֣ב מִצְרָ֑יִם כִּי־מֵ֨תוּ֙ כָּל־הָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים הַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֖ים אֶת־נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃

20
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּiqּa֨ch moshshe֜h 'et-'ishshetּ֣o ve'et-bּana֗yv vayּarekּibem֙ 'aֽl-hachamo֔r vayּa֖shshab 'a֣retzah mitzera֑yim vayּiqּa֥ch moshshe֛h 'et-matּe֥h ha'elohi֖ym bּeyadֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)So Moses took his wife and his sons and put them on a donkey to return to Egypt. He also carried the staff of God in his hand.

וַיִּקַּ֨ח מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־אִשְׁתּ֣וֹ וְאֶת־בָּנָ֗יו וַיַּרְכִּבֵם֙ עַֽל־הַחֲמֹ֔ר וַיָּ֖שָׁב אַ֣רְצָה מִצְרָ֑יִם וַיִּקַּ֥ח מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־מַטֵּ֥ה הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּיָדֽוֹ׃

21
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֣'mer yehvah֮ 'el-moshsheh֒ bּeleketּeka֙ lashsh֣ub mitzera֔yemah re'e֗h kּal-hamּoֽpetiym֙ 'ashsher-shsa֣metּiy beyade֔ka va'ashsiyta֖m lipene֣y pare'o֑h va'aniy֙ 'achazּe֣q 'et-libּ֔o velo֥ yeshshalּa֖ch 'et-ha'aֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)the LORD told Moses, "When you return to Egypt, make sure you perform all the miracles I have given you the power to do before Pharaoh. But I will make his heart stubborn, and he will not let the people go."

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָה֮ אֶל־מֹשֶׁה֒ בְּלֶכְתְּךָ֙ לָשׁ֣וּב מִצְרַ֔יְמָה רְאֵ֗ה כָּל־הַמֹּֽפְתִים֙ אֲשֶׁר־שַׂ֣מְתִּי בְיָדֶ֔ךָ וַעֲשִׂיתָ֖ם לִפְנֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֑ה וַאֲנִי֙ אֲחַזֵּ֣ק אֶת־לִבּ֔וֹ וְלֹ֥א יְשַׁלַּ֖ח אֶת־הָעָֽם׃

22
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'amaretּa֖ 'el-pּare'o֑h kּo֚h 'ama֣r yehva֔h bּeni֥y bekori֖y yishsera'eֽl׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then you will tell Pharaoh: 'This is what the LORD says: [5] (Israel is my firstborn son).'

וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֑ה כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה בְּנִ֥י בְכֹרִ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

23
Phonetic (Hebrew): va'oma֣r 'ele֗yka shshalּa֤ch 'et-bּeniy֙ veyaֽ'abede֔niy vatּema'e֖n leshshalּech֑o hinּeh֙ 'anoki֣y hore֔g 'et-bּineka֖ bּekoreֽka׃
Edified Edition (EDE)'I told you to let my son go so he may worship me, but you refused. Therefore, I will kill your firstborn son.'

וָאֹמַ֣ר אֵלֶ֗יךָ שַׁלַּ֤ח אֶת־בְּנִי֙ וְיַֽעַבְדֵ֔נִי וַתְּמָאֵ֖ן לְשַׁלְּח֑וֹ הִנֵּה֙ אָנֹכִ֣י הֹרֵ֔ג אֶת־בִּנְךָ֖ בְּכֹרֶֽךָ׃

24
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayehi֥y badּe֖reke bּamּal֑on vayּipegּeshshe֣hu yehva֔h vayebaqּe֖shsh hamiytֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)On the journey, at a place where they stopped for the night, the LORD met Moses and was about to kill him.

וַיְהִ֥י בַדֶּ֖רֶךְ בַּמָּל֑וֹן וַיִּפְגְּשֵׁ֣הוּ יְהוָ֔ה וַיְבַקֵּ֖שׁ הֲמִיתֽוֹ׃

25
Phonetic (Hebrew): vatּiqּa֨ch tzipּora֜h tzo֗r vatּikerot֙ 'et-'arela֣t bּena֔hּ vatּagּa֖ leragela֑yv vatּo֕'mer kּi֧y chatan-dּami֛ym 'atּa֖h liֽy׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But Zipporah took a sharp stone, performed the circumcision on her son, and touched the skin to Moses' feet. She said, "To me, you are a husband of blood."

וַתִּקַּ֨ח צִפֹּרָ֜ה צֹ֗ר וַתִּכְרֹת֙ אֶת־עָרְלַ֣ת בְּנָ֔הּ וַתַּגַּ֖ע לְרַגְלָ֑יו וַתֹּ֕אמֶר כִּ֧י חֲתַן־דָּמִ֛ים אַתָּ֖ה לִֽי׃

26
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּi֖rep mimּe֑nּu 'a֚z 'aֽmera֔h chata֥n dּami֖ym lamּuloֽt׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)So the LORD let him go. She used the phrase "husband of blood" because of the circumcision.

וַיִּ֖רֶף מִמֶּ֑נּוּ אָ֚ז אָֽמְרָ֔ה חֲתַ֥ן דָּמִ֖ים לַמּוּלֹֽת׃פ

27
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּo֤'mer yehvah֙ 'eֽl-'aharo֔n le֛ke liqera֥'t moshshe֖h hamּidebּa֑rah vayּe֗leke vaֽyּipegּeshshe֛hu bּeha֥r ha'elohi֖ym vayּishshּaq-lֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Meanwhile, the LORD said to Aaron, "Go into the desert to meet Moses." So Aaron went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֔ן לֵ֛ךְ לִקְרַ֥את מֹשֶׁ֖ה הַמִּדְבָּ֑רָה וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ וַֽיִּפְגְּשֵׁ֛הוּ בְּהַ֥ר הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים וַיִּשַּׁק־לֽוֹ׃

28
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּagּe֤d moshsheh֙ le'aֽharo֔n 'e֛t kּal-dּibere֥y yehva֖h 'ashshe֣r shshelach֑o ve'e֥t kּal-ha'oto֖t 'ashshe֥r tziuaֽhu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had said and about all the miracles He had commanded him to perform.

וַיַּגֵּ֤ד מֹשֶׁה֙ לְאַֽהֲרֹ֔ן אֵ֛ת כָּל־דִּבְרֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר שְׁלָח֑וֹ וְאֵ֥ת כָּל־הָאֹתֹ֖ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּֽהוּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּe֥leke moshshe֖h ve'aharo֑n vayּa֣'asep֔u 'et-kּal-ziqene֖y bּene֥y yishsera'eֽl׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered all the leaders of the Israelites.

וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֑ן וַיַּ֣אַסְפ֔וּ אֶת־כָּל־זִקְנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayedabּe֣r 'aharo֔n 'e֚t kּal-hadּebari֔ym 'ashsher-dּibּe֥r yehva֖h 'el-moshshe֑h vayּa֥'ashs ha'oto֖t le'eyne֥y ha'aֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Aaron told them everything the LORD had said to Moses, and Moses performed the signs in front of the people.

וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אַהֲרֹ֔ן אֵ֚ת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָאֹתֹ֖ת לְעֵינֵ֥י הָעָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyּa'ame֖n ha'a֑m vaֽyּishsheme'֡u kּiֽy-paqa֨d yehva֜h 'et-bּene֣y yishsera'e֗l veki֤y ra'ah֙ 'et-'aneya֔m vaֽyּiqּed֖u vayּiֽshshetּachauֽu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)When the people heard that the LORD had visited the Israelites and seen their suffering, they believed and bowed their heads and worshipped.

וַֽיַּאֲמֵ֖ן הָעָ֑ם וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֡וּ כִּֽי־פָקַ֨ד יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְכִ֤י רָאָה֙ אֶת־עָנְיָ֔ם וַֽיִּקְּד֖וּ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּֽוּ׃
