Chapter 27
1
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayehi֥y debar-yehva֖h 'ela֥y le'moֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

2
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'atּa֣h ben-'ada֔m shsa֥ 'al-tzo֖r qiynaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Now, you son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre;"

וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֔ם שָׂ֥א עַל־צֹ֖ר קִינָֽה׃

3
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'amaretּa֣ letz֗or hyshbty hayּoshshe֨bet֙ 'al-mebo'o֣t ya֔m roke֨let֙ haֽ'amּi֔ym 'el-'iyּi֖ym rabּi֑ym kּo֤h 'amar֙ 'adona֣y yehvi֔h tz֕or 'a֣tּe 'ama֔retּe 'ani֖y kּeli֥ylat yoֽpiy׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And say to Tyre, "O you that are situate at the entry of the sea, which are a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus says the Lord GOD; O Tyre, you hast said, 'I am of perfect beauty.'"

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ לְצ֗וֹר הישבתי הַיֹּשֶׁ֨בֶת֙ עַל־מְבוֹאֹ֣ת יָ֔ם רֹכֶ֨לֶת֙ הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אֶל־אִיִּ֖ים רַבִּ֑ים כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה צ֕וֹר אַ֣תְּ אָמַ֔רְתְּ אֲנִ֖י כְּלִ֥ילַת יֹֽפִי׃

4
Phonetic (Hebrew): bּele֥b yamּi֖ym gּebula֑yike bּona֕yike kּalel֖u yapeyeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Your borders are in the midst of the seas, your builders have perfected your beauty."

בְּלֵ֥ב יַמִּ֖ים גְּבוּלָ֑יִךְ בֹּנַ֕יִךְ כָּלְל֖וּ יָפְיֵֽךְ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּeroshshi֤ym mishsּeniyr֙ bּa֣nu la֔ke 'e֖t kּal-luֽchota֑yim 'e֤rez milּebanon֙ laqa֔chu la'ashs֥ot tּo֖ren 'alaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"They have made all your ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you."

בְּרוֹשִׁ֤ים מִשְּׂנִיר֙ בָּ֣נוּ לָ֔ךְ אֵ֖ת כָּל־לֻֽחֹתָ֑יִם אֶ֤רֶז מִלְּבָנוֹן֙ לָקָ֔חוּ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת תֹּ֖רֶן עָלָֽיִךְ׃

6
Phonetic (Hebrew): alּoniym֙ mibּa֔shshan 'ashs֖u mishshּota֑yike qareshshe֤ke 'aֽshsu-shshen֙ bּat-'ashshuri֔ym me'iyּe֖y ktym kּitּiyּiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Of the oaks of Bashan have they made your oars; the company of the Ashurites have made your benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim."

אַלּוֹנִים֙ מִבָּ֔שָׁן עָשׂ֖וּ מִשּׁוֹטָ֑יִךְ קַרְשֵׁ֤ךְ עָֽשׂוּ־שֵׁן֙ בַּת־אֲשֻׁרִ֔ים מֵאִיֵּ֖י כתים כִּתִּיִּֽים׃

7
Phonetic (Hebrew): shsheshsh-bּeriqema֤h mimּitzera֨yim֙ haya֣h miperashse֔ke lihey֥ot la֖ke lene֑s tּeke֧let ve'aregּama֛n me'iyּe֥y 'eliyshsha֖h haya֥h mekasּeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which you spreadest forth to be your sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered you."

שֵׁשׁ־בְּרִקְמָ֤ה מִמִּצְרַ֨יִם֙ הָיָ֣ה מִפְרָשֵׂ֔ךְ לִהְי֥וֹת לָ֖ךְ לְנֵ֑ס תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן מֵאִיֵּ֥י אֱלִישָׁ֖ה הָיָ֥ה מְכַסֵּֽךְ׃

8
Phonetic (Hebrew): yoshshebe֤y tziydon֙ ve'areva֔d hay֥u shshati֖ym la֑ke chakama֤yike tzor֙ ha֣yu ba֔ke he֖mּah chobelaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were your mariners: your wise men, O Tyre, that were in you, were your pilots."

יֹשְׁבֵ֤י צִידוֹן֙ וְאַרְוַ֔ד הָי֥וּ שָׁטִ֖ים לָ֑ךְ חֲכָמַ֤יִךְ צוֹר֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ הֵ֖מָּה חֹבְלָֽיִךְ׃

9
Phonetic (Hebrew): ziqene֨y geba֤l vachakame֨yha֙ ha֣yu ba֔ke machaziyqe֖y bּideqe֑ke kּal-'oniyּ֨ot hayּa֤m umalּaֽcheyhem֙ ha֣yu ba֔ke la'aro֖b ma'arabeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in you your calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in you to occupy your merchandise."

זִקְנֵ֨י גְבַ֤ל וַחֲכָמֶ֨יהָ֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ מַחֲזִיקֵ֖י בִּדְקֵ֑ךְ כָּל־אֳנִיּ֨וֹת הַיָּ֤ם וּמַלָּֽחֵיהֶם֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ לַעֲרֹ֖ב מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃

10
Phonetic (Hebrew): pּara֨s vel֤ud uput֙ hay֣u becheyle֔ke 'aneshshe֖y milechametּe֑ke mage֤n vekoba'֙ tּilּu-ba֔ke he֖mּah naten֥u hadareֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in your army, your men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in you; they set forth your comeliness."

פָּרַ֨ס וְל֤וּד וּפוּט֙ הָי֣וּ בְחֵילֵ֔ךְ אַנְשֵׁ֖י מִלְחַמְתֵּ֑ךְ מָגֵ֤ן וְכוֹבַע֙ תִּלּוּ־בָ֔ךְ הֵ֖מָּה נָתְנ֥וּ הֲדָרֵֽךְ׃

11
Phonetic (Hebrew): bּene֧y 'areva֣d vecheyle֗ke 'al-chomota֨yike֙ sabi֔yb vega֨mּadi֔ym bּemigedּelota֖yike hay֑u shshileteyhe֞m tּilּ֤u 'al-chomota֨yike֙ sabi֔yb he֖mּah kּalel֥u yapeyeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The men of Arvad with your army were upon your walls round about, and the Gammadims were in your towers: they hanged their shields upon your walls round about; they have made your beauty perfect."

בְּנֵ֧י אַרְוַ֣ד וְחֵילֵ֗ךְ עַל־חוֹמוֹתַ֨יִךְ֙ סָבִ֔יב וְגַ֨מָּדִ֔ים בְּמִגְדְּלוֹתַ֖יִךְ הָי֑וּ שִׁלְטֵיהֶ֞ם תִּלּ֤וּ עַל־חוֹמוֹתַ֨יִךְ֙ סָבִ֔יב הֵ֖מָּה כָּלְל֥וּ יָפְיֵֽךְ׃

12
Phonetic (Hebrew): tּareshshi֥yshsh socharetּe֖ke mero֣b kּal-h֑on bּeke֤sep bּarezel֙ bּedi֣yl ve'ope֔ret naten֖u 'izebonaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in your fairs."

תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ סֹחַרְתֵּ֖ךְ מֵרֹ֣ב כָּל־ה֑וֹן בְּכֶ֤סֶף בַּרְזֶל֙ בְּדִ֣יל וְעוֹפֶ֔רֶת נָתְנ֖וּ עִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃

13
Phonetic (Hebrew): yava֤n tּubal֙ vame֔shsheke he֖mּah roֽkela֑yike bּene֤peshsh 'adam֙ ukele֣y necho֔shshet naten֖u ma'arabeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were your merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in your market."

יָוָ֤ן תֻּבַל֙ וָמֶ֔שֶׁךְ הֵ֖מָּה רֹֽכְלָ֑יִךְ בְּנֶ֤פֶשׁ אָדָם֙ וּכְלֵ֣י נְחֹ֔שֶׁת נָתְנ֖וּ מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃

14
Phonetic (Hebrew): mibּe֖yt tּogarema֑h susi֤ym upaֽrashshiym֙ uperadi֔ym naten֖u 'izebonaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"They of the house of Togarmah traded in your fairs with horses and horsemen and mules."

מִבֵּ֖ית תּוֹגַרְמָ֑ה סוּסִ֤ים וּפָֽרָשִׁים֙ וּפְרָדִ֔ים נָתְנ֖וּ עִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃

15
Phonetic (Hebrew): bּene֤y dedan֙ roֽkela֔yike 'iyּi֥ym rabּi֖ym sechora֣t yade֑ke qaren֥ot shshen֙ vhvbnym vehabeni֔ym heshshi֖ybu 'eshshekּareֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The men of Dedan were your merchants; many isles were the merchandise of your hand: they brought you for a present horns of ivory and ebony."

בְּנֵ֤י דְדָן֙ רֹֽכְלַ֔יִךְ אִיִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים סְחֹרַ֣ת יָדֵ֑ךְ קַרְנ֥וֹת שֵׁן֙ והובנים וְהָבְנִ֔ים הֵשִׁ֖יבוּ אֶשְׁכָּרֵֽךְ׃

16
Phonetic (Hebrew): ara֥m socharetּe֖ke mero֣b ma'ashsa֑yike bּe֠nopeke 'aregּama֨n veriqema֤h ubutz֙ vera'mo֣t vekadekּo֔d naten֖u bּe'izebonaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of your making: they occupied in your fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate."

אֲרָ֥ם סֹחַרְתֵּ֖ךְ מֵרֹ֣ב מַעֲשָׂ֑יִךְ בְּ֠נֹפֶךְ אַרְגָּמָ֨ן וְרִקְמָ֤ה וּבוּץ֙ וְרָאמֹ֣ת וְכַדְכֹּ֔ד נָתְנ֖וּ בְּעִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃

17
Phonetic (Hebrew): yehudah֙ ve'e֣retz yishsera'e֔l he֖mּah rokela֑yike bּechitּe֣y mi֠nּiyt upanּa֨g udeba֤shsh vashshe֨men֙ vatzo֔riy naten֖u ma'arabeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Judah, and the land of Israel, they were your merchants: they traded in your market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm."

יְהוּדָה֙ וְאֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֵ֖מָּה רֹכְלָ֑יִךְ בְּחִטֵּ֣י מִ֠נִּית וּפַנַּ֨ג וּדְבַ֤שׁ וָשֶׁ֨מֶן֙ וָצֹ֔רִי נָתְנ֖וּ מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃

18
Phonetic (Hebrew): dּamּe֧shseq socharetּe֛ke bּero֥b ma'ashsa֖yike mero֣b kּal-h֑on bּeye֥yn chelebּ֖on vetze֥mer tzaֽchar׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Damascus was your merchant in the multitude of the wares of your making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool."

דַּמֶּ֧שֶׂק סֹחַרְתֵּ֛ךְ בְּרֹ֥ב מַעֲשַׂ֖יִךְ מֵרֹ֣ב כָּל־ה֑וֹן בְּיֵ֥ין חֶלְבּ֖וֹן וְצֶ֥מֶר צָֽחַר׃

19
Phonetic (Hebrew): veda֤n veyavan֙ me'uzּa֔l bּe'izebona֖yike nata֑nּu bּareze֤l 'ashshot֙ qidּa֣h veqane֔h bּema'arabe֖ke hayaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in your fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in your market."

וְדָ֤ן וְיָוָן֙ מְאוּזָּ֔ל בְּעִזְבוֹנַ֖יִךְ נָתָ֑נּוּ בַּרְזֶ֤ל עָשׁוֹת֙ קִדָּ֣ה וְקָנֶ֔ה בְּמַעֲרָבֵ֖ךְ הָיָֽה׃

20
Phonetic (Hebrew): dּedan֙ roֽkaletּe֔ke bebigedey-cho֖peshsh lerikebּaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Dedan was your merchant in precious clothes for chariots."

דְּדָן֙ רֹֽכַלְתֵּ֔ךְ בְבִגְדֵי־חֹ֖פֶשׁ לְרִכְבָּֽה׃

21
Phonetic (Hebrew): arab֙ vekal-neshsiy'e֣y qeda֔r he֖mּah sochare֣y yade֑ke bּekari֤ym ve'eyliym֙ ve'atּudi֔ym bּa֖m socharaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with you in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they your merchants."

עֲרַב֙ וְכָל־נְשִׂיאֵ֣י קֵדָ֔ר הֵ֖מָּה סֹחֲרֵ֣י יָדֵ֑ךְ בְּכָרִ֤ים וְאֵילִים֙ וְעַתּוּדִ֔ים בָּ֖ם סֹחֲרָֽיִךְ׃

22
Phonetic (Hebrew): rokele֤y shsheba'֙ vera'ema֔h he֖mּah rokela֑yike bּero֨'shsh kּal-bּo֜shsem ubekal-'e֤ben yeqarah֙ vezaha֔b naten֖u 'izebonaֽyike׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were your merchants: they occupied in your fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold."

רֹכְלֵ֤י שְׁבָא֙ וְרַעְמָ֔ה הֵ֖מָּה רֹכְלָ֑יִךְ בְּרֹ֨אשׁ כָּל־בֹּ֜שֶׂם וּבְכָל־אֶ֤בֶן יְקָרָה֙ וְזָהָ֔ב נָתְנ֖וּ עִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃

23
Phonetic (Hebrew): chara֤n vekanּeh֙ va'e֔den rokele֖y shsheba֑ 'ashshּ֖ur kּilema֥d rokaletּeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were your merchants."

חָרָ֤ן וְכַנֵּה֙ וָעֶ֔דֶן רֹכְלֵ֖י שְׁבָ֑א אַשּׁ֖וּר כִּלְמַ֥ד רֹכַלְתֵּֽךְ׃

24
Phonetic (Hebrew): he֤mּah rokela֨yike֙ bּemakeluli֔ym bּigelomey֙ tּeke֣let veriqema֔h ubegineze֖y bּeromi֑ym bּachabali֧ym chabushshi֛ym va'aruzi֖ym bּemarekuletּeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"These were your merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among your merchandise."

הֵ֤מָּה רֹכְלַ֨יִךְ֙ בְּמַכְלֻלִ֔ים בִּגְלוֹמֵי֙ תְּכֵ֣לֶת וְרִקְמָ֔ה וּבְגִנְזֵ֖י בְּרֹמִ֑ים בַּחֲבָלִ֧ים חֲבֻשִׁ֛ים וַאֲרֻזִ֖ים בְּמַרְכֻלְתֵּֽךְ׃

25
Phonetic (Hebrew): oniyּ֣ot tּareshshi֔yshsh shsharota֖yike ma'arabe֑ke vatּimּale'i֧y vaֽtּikebּedi֛y me'o֖d bּele֥b-yamּiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The ships of Tarshish did sing of you in your market: and you was replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas."

אֳנִיּ֣וֹת תַּרְשִׁ֔ישׁ שָׁרוֹתַ֖יִךְ מַעֲרָבֵ֑ךְ וַתִּמָּלְאִ֧י וַֽתִּכְבְּדִ֛י מְאֹ֖ד בְּלֵ֥ב־יַמִּֽים׃

26
Phonetic (Hebrew): bּema֤yim rabּiym֙ hebiy'֔uke hashshּati֖ym 'ota֑ke r֚ucha haqּadi֔ym shshebare֖ke bּele֥b yamּiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the east wind has broken you in the midst of the seas."

בְּמַ֤יִם רַבִּים֙ הֱבִיא֔וּךְ הַשָּׁטִ֖ים אֹתָ֑ךְ ר֚וּחַ הַקָּדִ֔ים שְׁבָרֵ֖ךְ בְּלֵ֥ב יַמִּֽים׃

27
Phonetic (Hebrew): honeke֙ ve'izebona֔yike ma'arabe֕ke malּacha֖yike vechobela֑yike machaziyqe֣y bideqe֣k veֽ'orebe֣y ma֠'arabeke vekal-'aneshshe֨y milechametּe֜ke 'ashsher-bּa֗ke ubekal-qehaleke֙ 'ashshe֣r bּetoke֔ke yipּelu֙ bּele֣b yamּi֔ym bּey֖om mapּaletּeֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Your riches, and your fairs, your merchandise, your mariners, and your pilots, your calkers, and the occupiers of your merchandise, and all your men of war, that are in you, and in all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of your ruin."

הוֹנֵךְ֙ וְעִזְבוֹנַ֔יִךְ מַעֲרָבֵ֕ךְ מַלָּחַ֖יִךְ וְחֹבְלָ֑יִךְ מַחֲזִיקֵ֣י בִדְקֵ֣ך וְֽעֹרְבֵ֣י מַ֠עֲרָבֵךְ וְכָל־אַנְשֵׁ֨י מִלְחַמְתֵּ֜ךְ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֗ךְ וּבְכָל־קְהָלֵךְ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְ יִפְּלוּ֙ בְּלֵ֣ב יַמִּ֔ים בְּי֖וֹם מַפַּלְתֵּֽךְ׃

28
Phonetic (Hebrew): leq֖ol za'aqa֣t chobela֑yike yire'ashsh֖u migeroshshֽot׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots."

לְק֖וֹל זַעֲקַ֣ת חֹבְלָ֑יִךְ יִרְעֲשׁ֖וּ מִגְרֹשֽׁוֹת׃

29
Phonetic (Hebrew): veֽyared֞u me'aniyּֽoteyhe֗m kּo֚l tּopeshse֣y mashsh֔ot malּachi֕ym kּo֖l chobele֣y hayּa֑m 'el-ha'a֖retz ya'amoֽdu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;"

וְֽיָרְד֞וּ מֵאָנִיּֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּ֚ל תֹּפְשֵׂ֣י מָשׁ֔וֹט מַלָּחִ֕ים כֹּ֖ל חֹבְלֵ֣י הַיָּ֑ם אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ יַעֲמֹֽדוּ׃

30
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehishshemi֤y'u 'ala֨yike֙ bּeqola֔m veyize'aq֖u mara֑h veya'al֤u 'ֽapar֙ 'al-ra֣'shsheyhe֔m bּa'e֖per yitepּalּaֽshshu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"And shall cause their voice to be heard against you, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:"

וְהִשְׁמִ֤יעוּ עָלַ֨יִךְ֙ בְּקוֹלָ֔ם וְיִזְעֲק֖וּ מָרָ֑ה וְיַעֲל֤וּ עָֽפָר֙ עַל־רָ֣אשֵׁיהֶ֔ם בָּאֵ֖פֶר יִתְפַּלָּֽשׁוּ׃

31
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehiqeri֤ychu 'ela֨yike֙ qarecha֔h vechager֖u shsaqּi֑ym ubak֥u 'ela֛yike bּemar-ne֖peshsh misepּe֥d maֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"And they shall make themselves utterly bald for you, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for you with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing."

וְהִקְרִ֤יחוּ אֵלַ֨יִךְ֙ קָרְחָ֔ה וְחָגְר֖וּ שַׂקִּ֑ים וּבָכ֥וּ אֵלַ֛יִךְ בְּמַר־נֶ֖פֶשׁ מִסְפֵּ֥ד מָֽר׃

32
Phonetic (Hebrew): venashse'֨u 'ela֤yike bּeniyhem֙ qiyna֔h veqonen֖u 'ala֑yike mi֣y ketz֔or kּeduma֖h bּet֥oke hayּaֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, 'What city is like Tyre, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?'"

וְנָשְׂא֨וּ אֵלַ֤יִךְ בְּנִיהֶם֙ קִינָ֔ה וְקוֹנְנ֖וּ עָלָ֑יִךְ מִ֣י כְצ֔וֹר כְּדֻמָ֖ה בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיָּֽם׃

33

Edified Edition (EDE)"When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filledst many people; you did enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise."

בְּצֵ֤את עִזְבוֹנַ֨יִךְ֙ מִיַּמִּ֔ים הִשְׂבַּ֖עַתְּ עַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים בְּרֹ֤ב הוֹנַ֨יִךְ֙ וּמַ֣עֲרָבַ֔יִךְ הֶעֱשַׁ֖רְתְּ מַלְכֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): e֛t nishshebּe֥ret miyּamּi֖ym bּemaֽ'amaqּey-ma֑yim ma'arabe֥ke vekal-qehale֖ke bּetoke֥ke napaֽlu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"In the time when you shall be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters your merchandise and all your company in the midst of you shall fall."

עֵ֛ת נִשְׁבֶּ֥רֶת מִיַּמִּ֖ים בְּמַֽעֲמַקֵּי־מָ֑יִם מַעֲרָבֵ֥ךְ וְכָל־קְהָלֵ֖ךְ בְּתוֹכֵ֥ךְ נָפָֽלוּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּo֚l yoshshebe֣y ha'iyּi֔ym shshamem֖u 'ala֑yike umalekeyhem֙ shsa֣'aru shsa֔'ar ra'am֖u pּaniֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at you, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance."

כֹּ֚ל יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הָאִיִּ֔ים שָׁמְמ֖וּ עָלָ֑יִךְ וּמַלְכֵיהֶם֙ שָׂ֣עֲרוּ שַׂ֔עַר רָעֲמ֖וּ פָּנִֽים׃

36
Phonetic (Hebrew): soֽchariym֙ bּa֣'amּi֔ym shshareq֖u 'ala֑yike bּalּah֣ot hayi֔yt ve'eyne֖ke 'ad-'olaֽm׃s
Edified Edition (EDE)"The merchants among the people shall hiss at you; you shall be a terror, and never shall be anymore."

סֹֽחֲרִים֙ בָּ֣עַמִּ֔ים שָׁרְק֖וּ עָלָ֑יִךְ בַּלָּה֣וֹת הָיִ֔ית וְאֵינֵ֖ךְ עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ס
