Chapter 34

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayehi֥y debar-yehva֖h 'ela֥y le'moֽr׃

Edified Edition (EDE)And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּen-'ada֕m hinּabe֖ 'al-ro'e֣y yishsera'e֑l hinּabe֣ ve'amaretּa֩ 'aleyhe֨m laro'i֜ym kּo֥h 'ama֣r ׀ 'adona֣y yehvi֗h h֤oy ro'eֽy-yishsera'el֙ 'ashshe֤r hayu֙ ro'i֣ym 'ota֔m hal֣o hatzּo֔'n yire'֖u haro'iֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds; 'Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?'"

בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵ֖א עַל־רוֹעֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הִנָּבֵ֣א וְאָמַרְתָּ֩ אֲלֵיהֶ֨ם לָרֹעִ֜ים כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה ה֤וֹי רֹעֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הָיוּ֙ רֹעִ֣ים אוֹתָ֔ם הֲל֣וֹא הַצֹּ֔אן יִרְע֖וּ הָרֹעִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et-hache֤leb tּo'ke֨lu֙ ve'et-hatzּe֣mer tּilebּa֔shshu habּeriy'a֖h tּizebּa֑chu hatzּo֖'n lo֥ tire'ֽu׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"'You eat the fat, and you clothe you with the wool, you kill them that are fed: but you feed not the flock.'"

אֶת־הַחֵ֤לֶב תֹּאכֵ֨לוּ֙ וְאֶת־הַצֶּ֣מֶר תִּלְבָּ֔שׁוּ הַבְּרִיאָ֖ה תִּזְבָּ֑חוּ הַצֹּ֖אן לֹ֥א תִרְעֽוּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): eֽt-hanּachelot֩ lo֨ chizּaqetּe֜m ve'et-hachola֣h loֽ'-ripּe'te֗m velanּishshebּe֨ret֙ lo֣ chabashshetּe֔m ve'et-hanּidּa֨chat֙ lo֣ hashshebote֔m ve'et-ha'obe֖det lo֣ biqּashshetּe֑m ubechazeqa֛h rediyte֥m 'ota֖m ubepaֽreke׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"'The diseased have you not strengthened, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought again that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have you ruled them.'"

אֶֽת־הַנַּחְלוֹת֩ לֹ֨א חִזַּקְתֶּ֜ם וְאֶת־הַחוֹלָ֣ה לֹֽא־רִפֵּאתֶ֗ם וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּ֨רֶת֙ לֹ֣א חֲבַשְׁתֶּ֔ם וְאֶת־הַנִּדַּ֨חַת֙ לֹ֣א הֲשֵׁבֹתֶ֔ם וְאֶת־הָאֹבֶ֖דֶת לֹ֣א בִקַּשְׁתֶּ֑ם וּבְחָזְקָ֛ה רְדִיתֶ֥ם אֹתָ֖ם וּבְפָֽרֶךְ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vatּeputze֖ynah mibּeli֣y ro'e֑h vatּiheye֧ynah le'akela֛h lekal-chayּa֥t hashsּade֖h vatּeputzeֽynah׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"'And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.'"

וַתְּפוּצֶ֖ינָה מִבְּלִ֣י רֹעֶ֑ה וַתִּהְיֶ֧ינָה לְאָכְלָ֛ה לְכָל־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וַתְּפוּצֶֽינָה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): yishshegּ֤u tzo'niy֙ bּekal-he֣hari֔ym ve'a֖l kּal-gּibe'a֣h rama֑h ve'a֨l kּal-pּene֤y ha'a֨retz֙ napo֣tzu tzo'ni֔y ve'e֥yn dּore֖shsh ve'e֥yn mebaqּeֽshsh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"'My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yes, My flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.'"

יִשְׁגּ֤וּ צֹאנִי֙ בְּכָל־הֶ֣הָרִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כָּל־גִּבְעָ֣ה רָמָ֑ה וְעַ֨ל כָּל־פְּנֵ֤י הָאָ֨רֶץ֙ נָפֹ֣צוּ צֹאנִ֔י וְאֵ֥ין דּוֹרֵ֖שׁ וְאֵ֥ין מְבַקֵּֽשׁ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): lake֣n ro'i֔ym shshime'֖u 'et-dּeba֥r yehvaֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;"

לָכֵ֣ן רֹעִ֔ים שִׁמְע֖וּ אֶת־דְּבַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): chay-'a֜niy ne'u֣m ׀ 'adona֣y yehvi֗h 'im-lo֣ ya֣'an heyֽot-tzo'ni֣y ׀ laba֡z vatּiֽheyeynah֩ tzo'ni֨y le'akela֜h lekal-chayּa֤t hashsּadeh֙ me'e֣yn ro'e֔h veloֽ'-dareshsh֥u ro'a֖y 'et-tzo'ni֑y vayּire'֤u haֽro'iym֙ 'ota֔m ve'et-tzo'ni֖y lo֥ ra'ֽu׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)"As I live," says the Lord GOD, "surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not My flock;"

חַי־אָ֜נִי נְאֻ֣ם ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה אִם־לֹ֣א יַ֣עַן הֱיֽוֹת־צֹאנִ֣י ׀ לָבַ֡ז וַתִּֽהְיֶינָה֩ צֹאנִ֨י לְאָכְלָ֜ה לְכָל־חַיַּ֤ת הַשָּׂדֶה֙ מֵאֵ֣ין רֹעֶ֔ה וְלֹֽא־דָרְשׁ֥וּ רֹעַ֖י אֶת־צֹאנִ֑י וַיִּרְע֤וּ הָֽרֹעִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ם וְאֶת־צֹאנִ֖י לֹ֥א רָעֽוּ׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): laken֙ haֽro'i֔ym shshime'֖u dּebar-yehvaֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"Therefore, O you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;"

לָכֵן֙ הָֽרֹעִ֔ים שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר־יְהוָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּoh-'ama֞r 'adona֣y yehvi֗h hineni֨y 'eֽl-haro'i֜ym veֽdarashshetּi֧y 'et-tzo'ni֣y miyּada֗m vehishshebּatּiym֙ mere'֣ot tzo֔'n velo'-yire'֥u '֛od haro'i֖ym 'ota֑m vehitzּaletּi֤y tzo'niy֙ mipּiyhe֔m veloֽ'-tiheye֥yna lahe֖m le'akelaֽh׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)Thus says the Lord GOD; "Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require My flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves anymore; for I will deliver My flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them."

כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֨י אֶֽל־הָרֹעִ֜ים וְֽדָרַשְׁתִּ֧י אֶת־צֹאנִ֣י מִיָּדָ֗ם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּים֙ מֵרְע֣וֹת צֹ֔אן וְלֹא־יִרְע֥וּ ע֛וֹד הָרֹעִ֖ים אוֹתָ֑ם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י צֹאנִי֙ מִפִּיהֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־תִהְיֶ֥יןָ לָהֶ֖ם לְאָכְלָֽה׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּi֛y kּo֥h 'ama֖r 'adona֣y yehvi֑h hineniy-'a֕niy vedarashshetּi֥y 'et-tzo'ni֖y ubiqּaretּiֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)For thus says the Lord GOD; "Behold, I, even I, will both search My sheep, and seek them out."

כִּ֛י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הִנְנִי־אָ֕נִי וְדָרַשְׁתִּ֥י אֶת־צֹאנִ֖י וּבִקַּרְתִּֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּebaqּarat֩ ro'e֨h 'eder֜o bּeyom-heyot֤o betoke-tzo'no֙ niperashsh֔ot kּe֖n 'abaqּe֣r 'et-tzo'ni֑y vehitzּaletּi֣y 'etehe֗m mikּal-hamּeqomot֙ 'ashshe֣r napo֣tzu shsha֔m bּey֥om 'ana֖n va'arapeֽl׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day."

כְּבַקָּרַת֩ רֹעֶ֨ה עֶדְר֜וֹ בְּיוֹם־הֱיוֹת֤וֹ בְתוֹךְ־צֹאנוֹ֙ נִפְרָשׁ֔וֹת כֵּ֖ן אֲבַקֵּ֣ר אֶת־צֹאנִ֑י וְהִצַּלְתִּ֣י אֶתְהֶ֗ם מִכָּל־הַמְּקוֹמֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָפֹ֣צוּ שָׁ֔ם בְּי֥וֹם עָנָ֖ן וַעֲרָפֶֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehotze'ti֣ym min-ha'amּi֗ym veqibּatzetּiym֙ min-ha֣'aratz֔ot vahabiy'oti֖ym 'el-'ademata֑m ure'iytiym֙ 'el-hare֣y yishsera'e֔l bּa'apiyqi֕ym ubeko֖l moshshebe֥y ha'aֽretz׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country."

וְהוֹצֵאתִ֣ים מִן־הָעַמִּ֗ים וְקִבַּצְתִּים֙ מִן־הָ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת וַהֲבִיאֹתִ֖ים אֶל־אַדְמָתָ֑ם וּרְעִיתִים֙ אֶל־הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּאֲפִיקִ֕ים וּבְכֹ֖ל מוֹשְׁבֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּemire'eh-tּob֙ 'ere'e֣h 'ota֔m ubehare֥y merֽom-yishsera'e֖l yiheye֣h nevehe֑m shsha֤m tּirebּa֨tzenah֙ bּena֣veh tּ֔ob umire'e֥h shshame֛n tּire'e֖ynah 'el-hare֥y yishsera'eֽl׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel."

בְּמִרְעֶה־טּוֹב֙ אֶרְעֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וּבְהָרֵ֥י מְרֽוֹם־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִהְיֶ֣ה נְוֵהֶ֑ם שָׁ֤ם תִּרְבַּ֨צְנָה֙ בְּנָ֣וֶה טּ֔וֹב וּמִרְעֶ֥ה שָׁמֵ֛ן תִּרְעֶ֖ינָה אֶל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ani֨y 'ere'e֤h tzo'niy֙ va'ani֣y 'arebּiytze֔m ne'u֖m 'adona֥y yehviֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"I will feed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down," says the Lord GOD.

אֲנִ֨י אֶרְעֶ֤ה צֹאנִי֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אַרְבִּיצֵ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): et-ha'obe֤det 'abaqּeshsh֙ ve'et-hanּidּa֣chat 'ashshi֔yb velanּishshebּe֣ret 'echebo֔shsh ve'et-hachola֖h 'achazּe֑q ve'et-hashshּemena֧h ve'et-hachazaqa֛h 'ashshemi֖yd 'ere'e֥nּah bemishshepּaֽt׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgement."

אֶת־הָאֹבֶ֤דֶת אֲבַקֵּשׁ֙ וְאֶת־הַנִּדַּ֣חַת אָשִׁ֔יב וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּ֣רֶת אֶחֱבֹ֔שׁ וְאֶת־הַחוֹלָ֖ה אֲחַזֵּ֑ק וְאֶת־הַשְּׁמֵנָ֧ה וְאֶת־הַחֲזָקָ֛ה אַשְׁמִ֖יד אֶרְעֶ֥נָּה בְמִשְׁפָּֽט׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'atּe֣nah tzo'ni֔y kּo֥h 'ama֖r 'adona֣y yehvi֑h hineni֤y shshopet֙ bּeֽyn-shse֣h lashse֔h la'eyli֖ym vela'atּudiֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats."

וְאַתֵּ֣נָה צֹאנִ֔י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הִנְנִ֤י שֹׁפֵט֙ בֵּֽין־שֶׂ֣ה לָשֶׂ֔ה לָאֵילִ֖ים וְלָעַתּוּדִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): hame'a֣t mikּe֗m hamּire'e֤h hatּob֙ tּire'֔u veye֨ter֙ mire'eyke֔m tּiremes֖u bּerageleyke֑m umishsheqa'-ma֣yim tּishshetּ֔u ve'et֙ hanּ֣otari֔ym bּerageleyke֖m tּirepּoshsֽun׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"SeemS it a small thing to you to have eaten up the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?"

הַמְעַ֣ט מִכֶּ֗ם הַמִּרְעֶ֤ה הַטּוֹב֙ תִּרְע֔וּ וְיֶ֨תֶר֙ מִרְעֵיכֶ֔ם תִּרְמְס֖וּ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם וּמִשְׁקַע־מַ֣יִם תִּשְׁתּ֔וּ וְאֵת֙ הַנּ֣וֹתָרִ֔ים בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּרְפֹּשֽׂוּן׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vetzo'ni֑y mirema֤s rageleykem֙ tּire'e֔ynah umirepּa֥shs rageleyke֖m tּishshetּeֽynah׃s

Edified Edition (EDE)"And as for My flock, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet."

וְצֹאנִ֑י מִרְמַ֤ס רַגְלֵיכֶם֙ תִּרְעֶ֔ינָה וּמִרְפַּ֥שׂ רַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּשְׁתֶּֽינָה׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): lake֗n kּo֥h 'ama֛r 'adona֥y yehvi֖h 'aleyhe֑m hineniy-'a֕niy veshshaֽpatetּiy֙ bּeֽyn-shse֣h bireya֔h ube֥yn shse֖h razaֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)Therefore thus says the Lord GOD to them; "Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle."

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִ֖ה אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם הִנְנִי־אָ֕נִי וְשָֽׁפַטְתִּי֙ בֵּֽין־שֶׂ֣ה בִרְיָ֔ה וּבֵ֥ין שֶׂ֖ה רָזָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ya֗'an bּetza֤d ubekatep֙ tּehedּo֔pu ubeqareneyke֥m tּenagּech֖u kּal-hanּachel֑ot 'a֣d 'ashshe֧r hapiytzote֛m 'ota֖nah 'el-hachֽutzah׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"Because you have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad;"

יַ֗עַן בְּצַ֤ד וּבְכָתֵף֙ תֶּהְדֹּ֔פוּ וּבְקַרְנֵיכֶ֥ם תְּנַגְּח֖וּ כָּל־הַנַּחְל֑וֹת עַ֣ד אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֲפִיצוֹתֶ֛ם אוֹתָ֖נָה אֶל־הַחֽוּצָה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehoshsha'etּi֣y letzo'ni֔y veloֽ'-tiheye֥ynah '֖od laba֑z veshsha֣patetּi֔y bּe֥yn shse֖h lashseֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"Therefore will I save My flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle."

וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣י לְצֹאנִ֔י וְלֹֽא־תִהְיֶ֥ינָה ע֖וֹד לָבַ֑ז וְשָׁ֣פַטְתִּ֔י בֵּ֥ין שֶׂ֖ה לָשֶֽׂה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vahaqimoti֨y 'aleyhe֜m ro'e֤h 'echad֙ vera'a֣h 'etehe֔n 'e֖t 'abedּi֣y davi֑yd h֚u yire'e֣h 'ota֔m vehֽu'-yiheye֥h lahe֖n lero'eֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even My servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd."

וַהֲקִמֹתִ֨י עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם רֹעֶ֤ה אֶחָד֙ וְרָעָ֣ה אֶתְהֶ֔ן אֵ֖ת עַבְדִּ֣י דָוִ֑יד ה֚וּא יִרְעֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וְהֽוּא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֖ן לְרֹעֶֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): va'ani֣y yehva֗h 'eheye֤h lahem֙ leֽ'lohi֔ym ve'abedּi֥y davi֖d nashsi֣y betoka֑m 'ani֥y yehva֖h dּibּaֽretּiy׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And I the LORD will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it."

וַאֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֶהְיֶ֤ה לָהֶם֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים וְעַבְדִּ֥י דָוִ֖ד נָשִׂ֣יא בְתוֹכָ֑ם אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vekaratּi֤y lahem֙ bּeri֣yt shshal֔om vehishshebּatּi֥y chayּaֽh-ra'a֖h min-ha'a֑retz veyashsheb֤u bamּidebּar֙ labe֔tach veyashshen֖u bּayּe'ariֽym׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods."

וְכָרַתִּ֤י לָהֶם֙ בְּרִ֣ית שָׁל֔וֹם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥י חַיָּֽה־רָעָ֖ה מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְיָשְׁב֤וּ בַמִּדְבָּר֙ לָבֶ֔טַח וְיָשְׁנ֖וּ בַּיְּעָרִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): venatatּi֥y 'ota֛m usebiyb֥ot gּibe'ati֖y bּeraka֑h vehoradetּi֤y hagּe֨shshem֙ bּe'itּ֔o gּishsheme֥y beraka֖h yiֽheyֽu׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing."

וְנָתַתִּ֥י אוֹתָ֛ם וּסְבִיב֥וֹת גִּבְעָתִ֖י בְּרָכָ֑ה וְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤י הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם֙ בְּעִתּ֔וֹ גִּשְׁמֵ֥י בְרָכָ֖ה יִֽהְיֽוּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): venatan֩ 'e֨tz hashsּade֜h 'et-pּirey֗o veha'a֨retz֙ tּitּe֣n yebula֔hּ vehay֥u 'al-'ademata֖m labe֑tach veֽyade'֞u kּiy-'ani֣y yehva֗h bּeshshiberiy֙ 'et-mot֣ot 'ulּa֔m vehi֨tzּaletּi֔ym miyּa֖d ha'obedi֥ym bּaheֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them."

וְנָתַן֩ עֵ֨ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֜ה אֶת־פִּרְי֗וֹ וְהָאָ֨רֶץ֙ תִּתֵּ֣ן יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְהָי֥וּ עַל־אַדְמָתָ֖ם לָבֶ֑טַח וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה בְּשִׁבְרִי֙ אֶת־מֹט֣וֹת עֻלָּ֔ם וְהִ֨צַּלְתִּ֔ים מִיַּ֖ד הָעֹבְדִ֥ים בָּהֶֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): velo'-yihey֨u '֥od bּaz֙ lagּoyi֔m vechayּa֥t ha'a֖retz lo֣ to'kele֑m veyashsheb֥u labe֖tach ve'e֥yn machariֽyd׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid."

וְלֹא־יִהְי֨וּ ע֥וֹד בַּז֙ לַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ לֹ֣א תֹאכְלֵ֑ם וְיָשְׁב֥וּ לָבֶ֖טַח וְאֵ֥ין מַחֲרִֽיד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vahaqimoti֥y lahe֛m matּa֖ leshshe֑m veloֽ'-yihey֨u '֜od 'asupe֤y ra'ab֙ bּa'a֔retz veloֽ'-yishse'֥u '֖od kּelimּa֥t hagּoyiֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)"And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen anymore."

וַהֲקִמֹתִ֥י לָהֶ֛ם מַטָּ֖ע לְשֵׁ֑ם וְלֹֽא־יִהְי֨וּ ע֜וֹד אֲסֻפֵ֤י רָעָב֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וְלֹֽא־יִשְׂא֥וּ ע֖וֹד כְּלִמַּ֥ת הַגּוֹיִֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): veyade'֗u kּi֣y 'ani֧y yehva֛h 'eloheyhe֖m 'itּa֑m vehe֗mּah 'amּiy֙ bּe֣yt yishsera'e֔l ne'u֖m 'adona֥y yehviֽh׃

Edified Edition (EDE)Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Lord God.

וְיָדְע֗וּ כִּ֣י אֲנִ֧י יְהוָ֛ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם אִתָּ֑ם וְהֵ֗מָּה עַמִּי֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'atּe֥n tzo'ni֛y tzo֥'n mare'iyti֖y 'ada֣m 'atּe֑m 'aniy֙ 'elo֣heyke֔m ne'u֖m 'adona֥y yehviֽh׃p

Edified Edition (EDE)"And you My flock, the flock of My pasture, are men, and I am your God," says the Lord GOD.

וְאַתֵּ֥ן צֹאנִ֛י צֹ֥אן מַרְעִיתִ֖י אָדָ֣ם אַתֶּ֑ם אֲנִי֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃פ
