Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּiqera֥ ya'aqo֖b 'el-bּana֑yv vayּo֗'mer he'aֽsepu֙ ve'agּi֣ydah lake֔m 'e֛t 'ashsher-yiqera֥ 'eteke֖m bּe'achari֥yt hayּamiֽym׃
King James Version (KJV)And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

וַיִּקְרָ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב אֶל־בָּנָ֑יו וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ וְאַגִּ֣ידָה לָכֶ֔ם אֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֥א אֶתְכֶ֖ם בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): hiqּabetz֥u veshshime'֖u bּene֣y ya'aqo֑b veshshime'֖u 'el-yishsera'e֥l 'abiykeֽm׃
King James Version (KJV)Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.

הִקָּבְצ֥וּ וְשִׁמְע֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֑ב וְשִׁמְע֖וּ אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל אֲבִיכֶֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): re'uben֙ bּeko֣riy 'a֔tּah kּochi֖y vere'shshi֣yt 'oni֑y ye֥ter shse'e֖t veye֥ter 'aֽz׃
King James Version (KJV)Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:

רְאוּבֵן֙ בְּכֹ֣רִי אַ֔תָּה כֹּחִ֖י וְרֵאשִׁ֣ית אוֹנִ֑י יֶ֥תֶר שְׂאֵ֖ת וְיֶ֥תֶר עָֽז׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): pּa֤chaz kּamּa֨yim֙ 'al-tּota֔r kּi֥y 'ali֖yta mishshekּebe֣y 'abi֑yka 'a֥z chilּa֖letּa yetzu'i֥y 'alaֽh׃p
King James Version (KJV)Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

פַּ֤חַז כַּמַּ֨יִם֙ אַל־תּוֹתַ֔ר כִּ֥י עָלִ֖יתָ מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אָבִ֑יךָ אָ֥ז חִלַּ֖לְתָּ יְצוּעִ֥י עָלָֽה׃פ

Phonetic (Hebrew): shshime'֥on velevi֖y 'achi֑ym kּele֥y chama֖s mekeroteyheֽm׃
King James Version (KJV)Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.

שִׁמְע֥וֹן וְלֵוִ֖י אַחִ֑ים כְּלֵ֥י חָמָ֖ס מְכֵרֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּesodam֙ 'al-tּabo֣ napeshshi֔y bּiqehala֖m 'al-tּecha֣d kּebodi֑y kּi֤y be'apּam֙ ha֣regu 'i֔yshsh ubiretzona֖m 'iqּeru-shshֽor׃
King James Version (KJV)O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

בְּסֹדָם֙ אַל־תָּבֹ֣א נַפְשִׁ֔י בִּקְהָלָ֖ם אַל־תֵּחַ֣ד כְּבֹדִ֑י כִּ֤י בְאַפָּם֙ הָ֣רְגוּ אִ֔ישׁ וּבִרְצֹנָ֖ם עִקְּרוּ־שֽׁוֹר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ar֤ur 'apּam֙ kּi֣y 'a֔z ve'eberata֖m kּi֣y qashsha֑tah 'achalּeqe֣m bּeya'aqo֔b va'apiytze֖m bּeyishsera'eֽl׃s
King James Version (KJV)Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

אָר֤וּר אַפָּם֙ כִּ֣י עָ֔ז וְעֶבְרָתָ֖ם כִּ֣י קָשָׁ֑תָה אֲחַלְּקֵ֣ם בְּיַעֲקֹ֔ב וַאֲפִיצֵ֖ם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): yehuda֗h 'atּah֙ yod֣uka 'ache֔yka yadeka֖ bּe'o֣rep 'oyebe֑yka yishshetּachau֥u leka֖ bּene֥y 'abiֽyka׃
King James Version (KJV)Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.

יְהוּדָ֗ה אַתָּה֙ יוֹד֣וּךָ אַחֶ֔יךָ יָדְךָ֖ בְּעֹ֣רֶף אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ יִשְׁתַּחֲוּ֥וּ לְךָ֖ בְּנֵ֥י אָבִֽיךָ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): gּ֤ur 'areyeh֙ yehuda֔h mitּe֖rep bּeni֣y 'ali֑yta kּara֨ raba֧tz kּe'areye֛h ukelabi֖y mi֥y yeqiymeֽnּu׃
King James Version (KJV)Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

גּ֤וּר אַרְיֵה֙ יְהוּדָ֔ה מִטֶּ֖רֶף בְּנִ֣י עָלִ֑יתָ כָּרַ֨ע רָבַ֧ץ כְּאַרְיֵ֛ה וּכְלָבִ֖יא מִ֥י יְקִימֶֽנּוּ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): loֽ'-yas֥ur shshe֨bet֙ miֽyhuda֔h umechoqe֖q mibּe֣yn ragela֑yv 'a֚d kּiֽy-yabo֣ shylh shshiyl֔o vel֖o yiqּeha֥t 'amּiֽym׃
King James Version (KJV)The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

לֹֽא־יָס֥וּר שֵׁ֨בֶט֙ מִֽיהוּדָ֔ה וּמְחֹקֵ֖ק מִבֵּ֣ין רַגְלָ֑יו עַ֚ד כִּֽי־יָבֹ֣א שילה שִׁיל֔וֹ וְל֖וֹ יִקְּהַ֥ת עַמִּֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): oseri֤y lagּe֨pen֙ 'yrh 'iyr֔o velashsּoreqa֖h bּeni֣y 'aton֑o kּibּe֤s bּayּa֨yin֙ lebushsh֔o ubedam-'anabi֖ym svth sutֽo׃
King James Version (KJV)Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

אֹסְרִ֤י לַגֶּ֨פֶן֙ עירה עִיר֔וֹ וְלַשֹּׂרֵקָ֖ה בְּנִ֣י אֲתֹנ֑וֹ כִּבֵּ֤ס בַּיַּ֨יִן֙ לְבֻשׁ֔וֹ וּבְדַם־עֲנָבִ֖ים סותה סוּתֽוֹ׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): chakeliyli֥y 'eyna֖yim miyּa֑yin uleben-shshinּa֖yim mechalaֽb׃p
King James Version (KJV)His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

חַכְלִילִ֥י עֵינַ֖יִם מִיָּ֑יִן וּלְבֶן־שִׁנַּ֖יִם מֵחָלָֽב׃פ

Phonetic (Hebrew): zebulu֕n lech֥op yamּi֖ym yishshekּo֑n vehu'֙ lech֣op 'oniyּ֔ot veyarekat֖o 'al-tziydoֽn׃s
King James Version (KJV)Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.

זְבוּלֻ֕ן לְח֥וֹף יַמִּ֖ים יִשְׁכֹּ֑ן וְהוּא֙ לְח֣וֹף אֳנִיּ֔וֹת וְיַרְכָת֖וֹ עַל־צִידֹֽן׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): yishsּashka֖r chamo֣r gּa֑rem robe֖tz bּe֥yn haֽmּishshepּetaֽyim׃
King James Version (KJV)Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:

יִשָּׂשכָ֖ר חֲמֹ֣ר גָּ֑רֶם רֹבֵ֖ץ בֵּ֥ין הַֽמִּשְׁפְּתָֽיִם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayּa֤re menuchah֙ kּi֣y t֔ob ve'et-ha'a֖retz kּi֣y na'e֑mah vayּe֤t shshikemo֙ lisebּo֔l vayehi֖y lemas-'obeֽd׃s
King James Version (KJV)And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.

וַיַּ֤רְא מְנֻחָה֙ כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב וְאֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ כִּ֣י נָעֵ֑מָה וַיֵּ֤ט שִׁכְמוֹ֙ לִסְבֹּ֔ל וַיְהִ֖י לְמַס־עֹבֵֽד׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): dּa֖n yadi֣yn 'amּ֑o kּe'acha֖d shshibete֥y yishsera'eֽl׃
King James Version (KJV)Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

דָּ֖ן יָדִ֣ין עַמּ֑וֹ כְּאַחַ֖ד שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

17
Phonetic (Hebrew): yehiy-dan֙ nacha֣shsh 'aley-de֔reke shshepiypo֖n 'aley-'o֑rach hanּoshsheke֙ 'iqּebey-s֔us vayּipּo֥l rokeb֖o 'achֽor׃
King James Version (KJV)Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

יְהִי־דָן֙ נָחָ֣שׁ עֲלֵי־דֶ֔רֶךְ שְׁפִיפֹ֖ן עֲלֵי־אֹ֑רַח הַנֹּשֵׁךְ֙ עִקְּבֵי־ס֔וּס וַיִּפֹּ֥ל רֹכְב֖וֹ אָחֽוֹר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): liֽyshshu'ateka֖ qiui֥ytiy yehvaֽh׃
King James Version (KJV)I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.

לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֖ קִוִּ֥יתִי יְהוָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): gּa֖d gּed֣ud yegude֑nּu veh֖u yagu֥d 'aqeֽb׃s
King James Version (KJV)Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

גָּ֖ד גְּד֣וּד יְגוּדֶ֑נּוּ וְה֖וּא יָגֻ֥ד עָקֵֽב׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): me'ashshe֖r shshemena֣h lachem֑o veh֥u yitּe֖n maֽ'adanּey-meֽleke׃s
King James Version (KJV)Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

מֵאָשֵׁ֖ר שְׁמֵנָ֣ה לַחְמ֑וֹ וְה֥וּא יִתֵּ֖ן מַֽעֲדַנֵּי־מֶֽלֶךְ׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): napetּali֖y 'ayּala֣h shshelucha֑h hanּote֖n 'imerey-shshaֽper׃s
King James Version (KJV)Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

נַפְתָּלִ֖י אַיָּלָ֣ה שְׁלֻחָ֑ה הַנֹּתֵ֖ן אִמְרֵי־שָֽׁפֶר׃ס

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּe֤n pּorat֙ yose֔p bּe֥n pּora֖t 'aley-'a֑yin bּan֕ot tza'ada֖h 'aley-shshֽur׃
King James Version (KJV)Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

בֵּ֤ן פֹּרָת֙ יוֹסֵ֔ף בֵּ֥ן פֹּרָ֖ת עֲלֵי־עָ֑יִן בָּנ֕וֹת צָעֲדָ֖ה עֲלֵי־שֽׁוּר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vaֽyemararu֖hu varo֑bּu vaֽyּishsetemu֖hu bּa'ale֥y chitzּiֽym׃
King James Version (KJV)The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:

וַֽיְמָרֲרֻ֖הוּ וָרֹ֑בּוּ וַֽיִּשְׂטְמֻ֖הוּ בַּעֲלֵ֥י חִצִּֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vatּe֤shsheb bּe'eytan֙ qashshetּ֔o vayּapo֖zּu zero'e֣y yada֑yv miydey֙ 'abi֣yr ya'aqo֔b mishshּa֥m ro'e֖h 'e֥ben yishsera'eֽl׃
King James Version (KJV)But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

וַתֵּ֤שֶׁב בְּאֵיתָן֙ קַשְׁתּ֔וֹ וַיָּפֹ֖זּוּ זְרֹעֵ֣י יָדָ֑יו מִידֵי֙ אֲבִ֣יר יַעֲקֹ֔ב מִשָּׁ֥ם רֹעֶ֖ה אֶ֥בֶן יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): me'e֨l 'abi֜yka veya'ezere֗kּa ve'e֤t shshadּay֙ viyba֣reke֔kּa bּireko֤t shshama֨yim֙ me'a֔l bּireko֥t tּeh֖om robe֣tzet tּa֑chat bּireko֥t shshada֖yim varaֽcham׃
King James Version (KJV)Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

מֵאֵ֨ל אָבִ֜יךָ וְיַעְזְרֶ֗ךָּ וְאֵ֤ת שַׁדַּי֙ וִיבָ֣רְכֶ֔ךָּ בִּרְכֹ֤ת שָׁמַ֨יִם֙ מֵעָ֔ל בִּרְכֹ֥ת תְּה֖וֹם רֹבֶ֣צֶת תָּ֑חַת בִּרְכֹ֥ת שָׁדַ֖יִם וָרָֽחַם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּireko֣t 'abi֗yka gּaֽberu֙ 'al-bּireko֣t hora֔y 'aֽd-tּa'ava֖t gּibe'o֣t 'ola֑m tּiֽheye֨yn֙ lero֣'shsh yose֔p uleqadeqo֖d nezi֥yr 'echaֽyv׃p
King James Version (KJV)The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

בִּרְכֹ֣ת אָבִ֗יךָ גָּֽבְרוּ֙ עַל־בִּרְכֹ֣ת הוֹרַ֔י עַֽד־תַּאֲוַ֖ת גִּבְעֹ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם תִּֽהְיֶ֨ין֙ לְרֹ֣אשׁ יוֹסֵ֔ף וּלְקָדְקֹ֖ד נְזִ֥יר אֶחָֽיו׃פ

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּineyamiyn֙ ze'e֣b yitera֔p bּabּo֖qer yo֣'kal 'a֑d vela'e֖reb yechalּe֥q shshalaֽl׃
King James Version (KJV)Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

בִּנְיָמִין֙ זְאֵ֣ב יִטְרָ֔ף בַּבֹּ֖קֶר יֹ֣אכַל עַ֑ד וְלָעֶ֖רֶב יְחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁלָֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּal-'e֛lּeh shshibete֥y yishsera'e֖l shshene֣ym 'ashsa֑r ve֠zo't 'ashsher-dּibּe֨r lahe֤m 'abiyhem֙ vayeba֣reke 'ota֔m 'i֛yshsh 'ashshe֥r kּebirekat֖o bּera֥ke 'otaֽm׃
King James Version (KJV)All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

כָּל־אֵ֛לֶּה שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל שְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑ר וְ֠זֹאת אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֨ר לָהֶ֤ם אֲבִיהֶם֙ וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אוֹתָ֔ם אִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר כְּבִרְכָת֖וֹ בֵּרַ֥ךְ אֹתָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vayetza֣v 'ota֗m vayּo֤'mer 'alehem֙ 'aniy֙ ne'esa֣p 'el-'amּi֔y qiber֥u 'oti֖y 'el-'abota֑y 'el-ha֨mּe'ara֔h 'ashshe֥r bּishsede֖h 'eper֥on hֽachitּiֽy׃
King James Version (KJV)And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

וַיְצַ֣ו אוֹתָ֗ם וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵהֶם֙ אֲנִי֙ נֶאֱסָ֣ף אֶל־עַמִּ֔י קִבְר֥וּ אֹתִ֖י אֶל־אֲבֹתָ֑י אֶל־הַ֨מְּעָרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּשְׂדֵ֖ה עֶפְר֥וֹן הַֽחִתִּֽי׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): bּamּe'ara֞h 'ashshe֨r bּishsede֧h hamּakepּela֛h 'ashshe֥r 'al-pּeney-mamere֖ bּe'e֣retz kּena֑'an 'ashsher֩ qana֨h 'aberaha֜m 'et-hashsּade֗h me'e֛t 'epero֥n hachitּi֖y la'achuzּat-qaֽber׃
King James Version (KJV)In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.

בַּמְּעָרָ֞ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר בִּשְׂדֵ֧ה הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־פְּנֵי־מַמְרֵ֖א בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן אֲשֶׁר֩ קָנָ֨ה אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה מֵאֵ֛ת עֶפְרֹ֥ן הַחִתִּ֖י לַאֲחֻזַּת־קָֽבֶר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): shsha֣mּah qֽaber֞u 'et-'aberaha֗m ve'et֙ shsara֣h 'ishshetּ֔o shsha֚mּah qaber֣u 'et-yitzecha֔q ve'e֖t ribeqa֣h 'ishshetּ֑o veshsha֥mּah qaba֖retּiy 'et-le'aֽh׃
King James Version (KJV)There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah.

שָׁ֣מָּה קָֽבְר֞וּ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֗ם וְאֵת֙ שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ שָׁ֚מָּה קָבְר֣וּ אֶת־יִצְחָ֔ק וְאֵ֖ת רִבְקָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וְשָׁ֥מָּה קָבַ֖רְתִּי אֶת־לֵאָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): miqene֧h hashsּade֛h vehamּe'ara֥h 'ashsher-bּ֖o me'e֥t bּeney-cheֽt׃
King James Version (KJV)The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth.

מִקְנֵ֧ה הַשָּׂדֶ֛ה וְהַמְּעָרָ֥ה אֲשֶׁר־בּ֖וֹ מֵאֵ֥ת בְּנֵי־חֵֽת׃

33
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayeka֤l ya'aqob֙ letzauo֣t 'et-bּana֔yv vayּe'eso֥p ragela֖yv 'el-hamּitּa֑h vayּigeva֖ vayּe'a֥sep 'el-'amּaֽyv׃
King James Version (KJV)And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.

וַיְכַ֤ל יַעֲקֹב֙ לְצַוֺּ֣ת אֶת־בָּנָ֔יו וַיֶּאֱסֹ֥ף רַגְלָ֖יו אֶל־הַמִּטָּ֑ה וַיִּגְוַ֖ע וַיֵּאָ֥סֶף אֶל־עַמָּֽיו׃
