Chapter 30
1
Phonetic (Hebrew): h֣oy bּani֤ym sֽoreriym֙ ne'um-yehva֔h la'ashs֤ot 'etzah֙ velo֣ minּi֔y velineso֥ke masּeka֖h velo֣ ruchi֑y lema֛'an sep֥ot chatּa֖'t 'al-chatּaֽ't׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Woe to the rebellious children, says the LORD, that take counsel, but not of Me; and that cover with a covering, but not of My spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

ה֣וֹי בָּנִ֤ים סֽוֹרְרִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת עֵצָה֙ וְלֹ֣א מִנִּ֔י וְלִנְסֹ֥ךְ מַסֵּכָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א רוּחִ֑י לְמַ֛עַן סְפ֥וֹת חַטָּ֖את עַל־חַטָּֽאת׃

2
Phonetic (Hebrew): haholekiym֙ lare֣det mitzera֔yim upi֖y lo֣ shsha'a֑lu la'oz֙ bּema'֣oz pּare'o֔h velaches֖ot bּetze֥l mitzeraֽyim׃
Edified Edition (EDE)That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at My mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!

הַהֹלְכִים֙ לָרֶ֣דֶת מִצְרַ֔יִם וּפִ֖י לֹ֣א שָׁאָ֑לוּ לָעוֹז֙ בְּמָע֣וֹז פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְלַחְס֖וֹת בְּצֵ֥ל מִצְרָֽיִם׃

3
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehaya֥h lake֛m ma'֥oz pּare'o֖h lebo֑shshet vehechas֥ut bּetzel-mitzera֖yim likelimּaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

וְהָיָ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם מָע֥וֹז פַּרְעֹ֖ה לְבֹ֑שֶׁת וְהֶחָס֥וּת בְּצֵל־מִצְרַ֖יִם לִכְלִמָּֽה׃

4
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּiֽy-hay֥u betzo֖'an shsara֑yv umale'aka֖yv chane֥s yagּiֽy'u׃
Edified Edition (EDE)For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

כִּֽי־הָי֥וּ בְצֹ֖עַן שָׂרָ֑יו וּמַלְאָכָ֖יו חָנֵ֥ס יַגִּֽיעוּ׃

5
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּo֣l hb'ysh hobi֔yshsh 'al-'a֖m lo'-yo'i֣ylu la֑mo lo֤ le'e֨zer֙ velo֣ leho'i֔yl kּi֥y lebo֖shshet vegam-lecherepּaֽh׃s
Edified Edition (EDE)They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

כֹּ֣ל הבאיש הֹבִ֔ישׁ עַל־עַ֖ם לֹא־יוֹעִ֣ילוּ לָ֑מוֹ לֹ֤א לְעֵ֨זֶר֙ וְלֹ֣א לְהוֹעִ֔יל כִּ֥י לְבֹ֖שֶׁת וְגַם־לְחֶרְפָּֽה׃ס

6
Phonetic (Hebrew): mashsּa֖ bּaham֣ot ne֑geb bּe'eretz֩ tzara֨h vetzuqa֜h labi֧y vala֣yishsh mehe֗m 'epe'eh֙ veshsara֣p me'ope֔p yishse'u֩ 'al-kּe֨tep 'ayari֜ym cheֽylehe֗m ve'al-dּabּe֤shshet gּemalּiym֙ 'ֽotzerota֔m 'al-'a֖m lo֥ yo'iֽylu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from Where come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

מַשָּׂ֖א בַּהֲמ֣וֹת נֶ֑גֶב בְּאֶרֶץ֩ צָרָ֨ה וְצוּקָ֜ה לָבִ֧יא וָלַ֣יִשׁ מֵהֶ֗ם אֶפְעֶה֙ וְשָׂרָ֣ף מְעוֹפֵ֔ף יִשְׂאוּ֩ עַל־כֶּ֨תֶף עֲיָרִ֜ים חֵֽילֵהֶ֗ם וְעַל־דַּבֶּ֤שֶׁת גְּמַלִּים֙ אֽוֹצְרֹתָ֔ם עַל־עַ֖ם לֹ֥א יוֹעִֽילוּ׃

7
Phonetic (Hebrew): umitzera֕yim he֥bel vari֖yq ya'ezo֑ru laken֙ qara֣'tiy lazo֔'t ra֥hab he֖m shshaֽbet׃
Edified Edition (EDE)For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, "Their strength is to sit still."

וּמִצְרַ֕יִם הֶ֥בֶל וָרִ֖יק יַעְזֹ֑רוּ לָכֵן֙ קָרָ֣אתִי לָזֹ֔את רַ֥הַב הֵ֖ם שָֽׁבֶת׃

8
Phonetic (Hebrew): atּa֗h bּ֣o kateba֥hּ 'al-l֛ucha 'itּa֖m ve'al-se֣per chuqּa֑hּ utehiy֙ ley֣om 'achar֔on la'a֖d 'ad-'olaֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever:

עַתָּ֗ה בּ֣וֹא כָתְבָ֥הּ עַל־ל֛וּחַ אִתָּ֖ם וְעַל־סֵ֣פֶר חֻקָּ֑הּ וּתְהִי֙ לְי֣וֹם אַחֲר֔וֹן לָעַ֖ד עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

9
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּi֣y 'a֤m meriy֙ h֔u bּani֖ym kּechashshi֑ym bּani֕ym loֽ'-'ab֥u shshem֖o'a tּora֥t yehvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:

כִּ֣י עַ֤ם מְרִי֙ ה֔וּא בָּנִ֖ים כֶּחָשִׁ֑ים בָּנִ֕ים לֹֽא־אָב֥וּ שְׁמ֖וֹעַ תּוֹרַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃

10
Phonetic (Hebrew): ashshe֨r 'amer֤u laֽro'iym֙ lo֣ tire'֔u vela֣chozi֔ym lo֥ techezu-la֖nu nekoch֑ot dּabּeru-la֣nu chalaq֔ot chaz֖u mahatalּֽot׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Which say to the seers, "See not;" and to the prophets, "Prophesy not to us right things, speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits:"

אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמְר֤וּ לָֽרֹאִים֙ לֹ֣א תִרְא֔וּ וְלַ֣חֹזִ֔ים לֹ֥א תֶחֱזוּ־לָ֖נוּ נְכֹח֑וֹת דַּבְּרוּ־לָ֣נוּ חֲלָק֔וֹת חֲז֖וּ מַהֲתַלּֽוֹת׃

11
Phonetic (Hebrew): s֚uru minּey-de֔reke hatּ֖u minּey-'o֑rach hashshebּi֥ytu mipּane֖ynu 'et-qed֥oshsh yishsera'eֽl׃s
Edified Edition (EDE)"Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us."

ס֚וּרוּ מִנֵּי־דֶ֔רֶךְ הַטּ֖וּ מִנֵּי־אֹ֑רַח הַשְׁבִּ֥יתוּ מִפָּנֵ֖ינוּ אֶת־קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס

12
Phonetic (Hebrew): lake֗n kּo֤h 'amar֙ qed֣oshsh yishsera'e֔l ya֥'an maֽ'aseke֖m bּadּaba֣r hazּe֑h vaֽtּibetechu֙ bּe'o֣shsheq venal֔oz vatּiֽshshּa'an֖u 'alaֽyv׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Wherefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, "Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:"

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יַ֥עַן מָֽאָסְכֶ֖ם בַּדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַֽתִּבְטְחוּ֙ בְּעֹ֣שֶׁק וְנָל֔וֹז וַתִּֽשָּׁעֲנ֖וּ עָלָֽיו׃

13
Phonetic (Hebrew): lake֗n yiֽheye֤h lakem֙ he'avo֣n hazּe֔h kּepe֣retz nope֔l nibe'e֖h bּechoma֣h nishsegּaba֑h 'ashsher-pּite'o֥m lepe֖ta yab֥o shshiberaֽhּ׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant."

לָכֵ֗ן יִֽהְיֶ֤ה לָכֶם֙ הֶעָוֺ֣ן הַזֶּ֔ה כְּפֶ֣רֶץ נֹפֵ֔ל נִבְעֶ֖ה בְּחוֹמָ֣ה נִשְׂגָּבָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר־פִּתְאֹ֥ם לְפֶ֖תַע יָב֥וֹא שִׁבְרָֽהּ׃

14
Phonetic (Hebrew): u֠shshebarahּ kּeshshe֨ber ne֧bel yotzeri֛ym kּat֖ut lo֣ yachemo֑l veloֽ'-yimּatze֤ bimekitּato֙ che֔reshs lachetּ֥ot 'eshsh֙ miyּaq֔ud velacheshso֥p ma֖yim migּeֽbe'׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)And He shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; He shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

וּ֠שְׁבָרָהּ כְּשֵׁ֨בֶר נֵ֧בֶל יוֹצְרִ֛ים כָּת֖וּת לֹ֣א יַחְמֹ֑ל וְלֹֽא־יִמָּצֵ֤א בִמְכִתָּתוֹ֙ חֶ֔רֶשׂ לַחְתּ֥וֹת אֵשׁ֙ מִיָּק֔וּד וְלַחְשֹׂ֥ף מַ֖יִם מִגֶּֽבֶא׃פ

15
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּi֣y koֽh-'amar֩ 'adona֨y yehvi֜h qed֣oshsh yishsera'e֗l bּeshshuba֤h vana֨chat֙ tּiua֣shshe'֔un bּehashsheqet֙ ubebitecha֔h tּiheye֖h gּebֽurateke֑m velo֖ 'abiyteֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; "In returning and rest shall you be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:" and you would not.

כִּ֣י כֹֽה־אָמַר֩ אֲדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֜ה קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל בְּשׁוּבָ֤ה וָנַ֨חַת֙ תִּוָּ֣שֵׁע֔וּן בְּהַשְׁקֵט֙ וּבְבִטְחָ֔ה תִּהְיֶ֖ה גְּבֽוּרַתְכֶ֑ם וְלֹ֖א אֲבִיתֶֽם׃

16
Phonetic (Hebrew): vatּo֨'mer֥u lo'-ki֛y 'al-s֥us nan֖us 'al-kּe֣n tּenus֑un ve'al-qa֣l nirekּa֔b 'al-kּe֖n yiqּa֥lּu rodepeykeֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But you said, "No; for we will flee upon horses;" therefore shall you flee: and, "We will ride upon the swift;" therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

וַתֹּ֨אמְר֥וּ לֹא־כִ֛י עַל־ס֥וּס נָנ֖וּס עַל־כֵּ֣ן תְּנוּס֑וּן וְעַל־קַ֣ל נִרְכָּ֔ב עַל־כֵּ֖ן יִקַּ֥לּוּ רֹדְפֵיכֶֽם׃

17
Phonetic (Hebrew): e֣lep 'echa֗d mipּeney֙ gּa'ara֣t 'echa֔d mipּene֛y gּa'ara֥t chamishshּa֖h tּanu֑su 'a֣d 'im-notaretּe֗m kּatּo֨ren֙ 'al-ro֣'shsh haha֔r vekanּe֖s 'al-hagּibe'aֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall you flee: till you be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.

אֶ֣לֶף אֶחָ֗ד מִפְּנֵי֙ גַּעֲרַ֣ת אֶחָ֔ד מִפְּנֵ֛י גַּעֲרַ֥ת חֲמִשָּׁ֖ה תָּנֻ֑סוּ עַ֣ד אִם־נוֹתַרְתֶּ֗ם כַּתֹּ֨רֶן֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ הָהָ֔ר וְכַנֵּ֖ס עַל־הַגִּבְעָֽה׃

18
Phonetic (Hebrew): velake֞n yechakּe֤h yehvah֙ laֽchananeke֔m velake֥n yar֖um leraֽchemeke֑m kּiֽy-'elohe֤y mishshepּat֙ yehva֔h 'ashshere֖y kּal-ch֥okey lֽo׃s
Edified Edition (EDE)And therefore will the LORD wait, that He may be gracious to you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgement: blessed are all they that wait for Him.

וְלָכֵ֞ן יְחַכֶּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ לַֽחֲנַנְכֶ֔ם וְלָכֵ֥ן יָר֖וּם לְרַֽחֶמְכֶ֑ם כִּֽי־אֱלֹהֵ֤י מִשְׁפָּט֙ יְהוָ֔ה אַשְׁרֵ֖י כָּל־ח֥וֹכֵי לֽוֹ׃ס

19
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּiy-'a֛m bּetziyּ֥on yeshshe֖b bּiyrֽushshala֑im bּak֣o loֽ'-tibekּe֗h chan֤on yacheneka֙ leq֣ol za'aqe֔ka kּeshshame'at֖o 'anaֽke׃
Edified Edition (EDE)For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: you shall weep no more: He will be very gracious to you at the voice of your cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer you.

כִּי־עַ֛ם בְּצִיּ֥וֹן יֵשֵׁ֖ב בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם בָּכ֣וֹ לֹֽא־תִבְכֶּ֗ה חָנ֤וֹן יָחְנְךָ֙ לְק֣וֹל זַעֲקֶ֔ךָ כְּשָׁמְעָת֖וֹ עָנָֽךְ׃

20
Phonetic (Hebrew): venata֨n lake֧m 'adona֛y le֥chem tza֖r uma֣yim la֑chatz veloֽ'-yikּane֥p 'od֙ more֔yka vehay֥u 'eyne֖yka ro'֥ot 'et-moreֽyka׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not your teachers be removed into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers:

וְנָתַ֨ן לָכֶ֧ם אֲדֹנָ֛י לֶ֥חֶם צָ֖ר וּמַ֣יִם לָ֑חַץ וְלֹֽא־יִכָּנֵ֥ף עוֹד֙ מוֹרֶ֔יךָ וְהָי֥וּ עֵינֶ֖יךָ רֹא֥וֹת אֶת־מוֹרֶֽיךָ׃

21
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'azene֨yka֙ tּishshema֣'enah daba֔r meֽ'achare֖yka le'mo֑r ze֤h hadּe֨reke֙ lek֣u b֔o kּi֥y ta'ami֖ynu veki֥y tashseme'iֽylu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk you in it," when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.

וְאָזְנֶ֨יךָ֙ תִּשְׁמַ֣עְנָה דָבָ֔ר מֵֽאַחֲרֶ֖יךָ לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֤ה הַדֶּ֨רֶךְ֙ לְכ֣וּ ב֔וֹ כִּ֥י תַאֲמִ֖ינוּ וְכִ֥י תַשְׂמְאִֽילוּ׃

22
Phonetic (Hebrew): vetimּe'te֗m 'et-tzipּuy֙ pּesiyle֣y kasepּe֔ka ve'et-'apudּa֖t masּeka֣t zehabe֑ka tּizerem֙ kּem֣o dava֔h tze֖ tּo֥'mar lֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)You shall defile also the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molten images of gold: you shall cast them away as a menstruous cloth; you shall say to it, "Get you hence."

וְטִמֵּאתֶ֗ם אֶת־צִפּוּי֙ פְּסִילֵ֣י כַסְפֶּ֔ךָ וְאֶת־אֲפֻדַּ֖ת מַסֵּכַ֣ת זְהָבֶ֑ךָ תִּזְרֵם֙ כְּמ֣וֹ דָוָ֔ה צֵ֖א תֹּ֥אמַר לֽוֹ׃

23
Phonetic (Hebrew): venatan֩ meta֨r zare'aka֜ 'ashsher-tּizera֣ 'et-ha'adama֗h vele֨chem֙ tּebu'a֣t haֽ'adama֔h vehaya֥h dashshe֖n veshshame֑n yire'e֥h miqene֛yka bּayּ֥om hah֖u kּa֥r nirechaֽb׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then shall He give the rain of your seed, that you shall sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall your cattle feed in large pastures.

וְנָתַן֩ מְטַ֨ר זַרְעֲךָ֜ אֲשֶׁר־תִּזְרַ֣ע אֶת־הָאֲדָמָ֗ה וְלֶ֨חֶם֙ תְּבוּאַ֣ת הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה וְהָיָ֥ה דָשֵׁ֖ן וְשָׁמֵ֑ן יִרְעֶ֥ה מִקְנֶ֛יךָ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא כַּ֥ר נִרְחָֽב׃

24
Phonetic (Hebrew): veha'alapi֣ym veha'ayari֗ym 'oֽbedey֙ haֽ'adama֔h bּeli֥yl chami֖ytz yo'ke֑lu 'ashsher-zore֥h bara֖chat ubamּizereֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which has been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

וְהָאֲלָפִ֣ים וְהָעֲיָרִ֗ים עֹֽבְדֵי֙ הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה בְּלִ֥יל חָמִ֖יץ יֹאכֵ֑לוּ אֲשֶׁר־זֹרֶ֥ה בָרַ֖חַת וּבַמִּזְרֶֽה׃

25
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehaya֣h ׀ 'al-kּal-ha֣r gּabo֗ha ve'al֙ kּal-gּibe'a֣h nishsּa'a֔h pּelagi֖ym yibeley-ma֑yim bּeyom֙ he֣reg ra֔b bּinepo֖l migedּaliֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ עַל־כָּל־הַ֣ר גָּבֹ֗הַ וְעַל֙ כָּל־גִּבְעָ֣ה נִשָּׂאָ֔ה פְּלָגִ֖ים יִבְלֵי־מָ֑יִם בְּיוֹם֙ הֶ֣רֶג רָ֔ב בִּנְפֹ֖ל מִגְדָּלִֽים׃

26
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehaya֤h 'ֽor-halּebanah֙ kּe'֣or haֽchamּa֔h ve'֤or haֽchamּah֙ yiheye֣h shshibe'ata֔yim kּe'֖or shshibe'a֣t hayּami֑ym bּey֗om chabo֤shsh yehvah֙ 'et-shshe֣ber 'amּ֔o uma֥chatz makּat֖o yirepּaֽ'׃s
Edified Edition (EDE)Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of His people, and heals the stroke of their wound.

וְהָיָ֤ה אֽוֹר־הַלְּבָנָה֙ כְּא֣וֹר הַֽחַמָּ֔ה וְא֤וֹר הַֽחַמָּה֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה שִׁבְעָתַ֔יִם כְּא֖וֹר שִׁבְעַ֣ת הַיָּמִ֑ים בְּי֗וֹם חֲבֹ֤שׁ יְהוָה֙ אֶת־שֶׁ֣בֶר עַמּ֔וֹ וּמַ֥חַץ מַכָּת֖וֹ יִרְפָּֽא׃ס

27
Phonetic (Hebrew): hinּe֤h shshem-yehvah֙ bּa֣ mimּerecha֔q bּo'e֣r 'apּ֔o veko֖bed mashsּa'a֑h shsepatayv֙ ma֣le'u za֔'am uleshshon֖o kּe'e֥shsh 'okaֽlet׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Behold, the name of the LORD comes from far, burning with His anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue as a devouring fire:

הִנֵּ֤ה שֵׁם־יְהוָה֙ בָּ֣א מִמֶּרְחָ֔ק בֹּעֵ֣ר אַפּ֔וֹ וְכֹ֖בֶד מַשָּׂאָ֑ה שְׂפָתָיו֙ מָ֣לְאוּ זַ֔עַם וּלְשׁוֹנ֖וֹ כְּאֵ֥שׁ אֹכָֽלֶת׃

28
Phonetic (Hebrew): veruch֞o kּena֤chal shshotep֙ 'ad-tzaua֣'r yeֽchetze֔h lahanapa֥h goyi֖m bּena֣pat shsha֑ve vere֣sen mate'e֔h 'a֖l lechaye֥y 'amּiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And His breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

וְרוּח֞וֹ כְּנַ֤חַל שׁוֹטֵף֙ עַד־צַוָּ֣אר יֶֽחֱצֶ֔ה לַהֲנָפָ֥ה גוֹיִ֖ם בְּנָ֣פַת שָׁ֑וְא וְרֶ֣סֶן מַתְעֶ֔ה עַ֖ל לְחָיֵ֥י עַמִּֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): hashshּiyr֙ yiֽheye֣h lake֔m kּele֖yl hiteqadּeshsh-cha֑g veshsimecha֣t leba֗b kּaֽholeke֙ bּeֽchali֔yl lab֥o behar-yehva֖h 'el-tz֥ur yishsera'eֽl׃
Edified Edition (EDE)You shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.

הַשִּׁיר֙ יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֔ם כְּלֵ֖יל הִתְקַדֶּשׁ־חָ֑ג וְשִׂמְחַ֣ת לֵבָ֗ב כַּֽהוֹלֵךְ֙ בֶּֽחָלִ֔יל לָב֥וֹא בְהַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־צ֥וּר יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

30
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehishshemi֨y'a yehva֜h 'et-h֣od qol֗o vena֤chat zero'o֙ yare'e֔h bּeza֣'ap 'a֔p vela֖hab 'e֣shsh 'okela֑h ne֥petz vaze֖rem ve'e֥ben bּaraֽd׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And the LORD shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

וְהִשְׁמִ֨יעַ יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־ה֣וֹד קוֹל֗וֹ וְנַ֤חַת זְרוֹעוֹ֙ יַרְאֶ֔ה בְּזַ֣עַף אַ֔ף וְלַ֖הַב אֵ֣שׁ אוֹכֵלָ֑ה נֶ֥פֶץ וָזֶ֖רֶם וְאֶ֥בֶן בָּרָֽד׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּiֽy-miqּ֥ol yehva֖h yecha֣t 'ashshּ֑ur bּashshּe֖bet yakּeֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

כִּֽי־מִקּ֥וֹל יְהוָ֖ה יֵחַ֣ת אַשּׁ֑וּר בַּשֵּׁ֖בֶט יַכֶּֽה׃

32
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehaya֗h kּo֤l maֽ'abar֙ matּe֣h mֽusada֔h 'ashshe֨r yani֤ycha yehvah֙ 'ala֔yv bּetupּi֖ym ubekinּor֑ot ubemilecham֥ot tּenupa֖h nilecham-bh bּaֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will He fight with it.

וְהָיָ֗ה כֹּ֤ל מַֽעֲבַר֙ מַטֵּ֣ה מֽוּסָדָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָנִ֤יחַ יְהוָה֙ עָלָ֔יו בְּתֻפִּ֖ים וּבְכִנֹּר֑וֹת וּבְמִלְחֲמ֥וֹת תְּנוּפָ֖ה נִלְחַם־בה בָּֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּiֽy-'ar֤uke meֽ'etemul֙ tּapetּe֔h gּam-hv hi֛y lamּe֥leke huka֖n he'emi֣yq hirechi֑b medurata֗hּ 'e֤shsh ve'etziym֙ harebּe֔h nishshema֤t yehvah֙ kּena֣chal gּaperi֔yt bּo'ara֖h bּaֽhּ׃s
Edified Edition (EDE)For Tophet is ordained of old; yes, for the king it is prepared; He has made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, does kindle it.

כִּֽי־עָר֤וּךְ מֵֽאֶתְמוּל֙ תָּפְתֶּ֔ה גַּם־הוא הִ֛יא לַמֶּ֥לֶךְ הוּכָ֖ן הֶעְמִ֣יק הִרְחִ֑ב מְדֻרָתָ֗הּ אֵ֤שׁ וְעֵצִים֙ הַרְבֵּ֔ה נִשְׁמַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ כְּנַ֣חַל גָּפְרִ֔ית בֹּעֲרָ֖ה בָּֽהּ׃ס
