Chapter 4
1
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayedabּe֥r yehva֖h 'el-moshshe֥h lּe'moֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): dּabּe֞r 'el-bּene֣y yishsera'e֘l le'mor֒ ne֗peshsh kּiֽy-techeta֤ bishshegagah֙ mikּol֙ mitzevo֣t yehva֔h 'ashshe֖r lo֣ te'ashse֑ynah ve'ashsa֕h me'acha֖t meheֽnּah׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Tell the Israelites: 'If anyone sins unintentionally by doing something the LORD has commanded not to be done, they must follow these rules:

דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֘ל לֵאמֹר֒ נֶ֗פֶשׁ כִּֽי־תֶחֱטָ֤א בִשְׁגָגָה֙ מִכֹּל֙ מִצְוֺ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֣א תֵעָשֶׂ֑ינָה וְעָשָׂ֕ה מֵאַחַ֖ת מֵהֵֽנָּה׃

3
Phonetic (Hebrew): i֣m hakּohe֧n hamּashshi֛ycha yecheta֖ le'ashshema֣t ha'a֑m vehiqeri֡yb 'a֣l chatּa'to֩ 'ashshe֨r chata֜ pּa֣r bּen-bּaqa֥r tּami֛ym layhva֖h lechatּaֽ't׃
Edified Edition (EDE)'If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must offer a young bull without any defect to the LORD as a sin offering.

אִ֣ם הַכֹּהֵ֧ן הַמָּשִׁ֛יחַ יֶחֱטָ֖א לְאַשְׁמַ֣ת הָעָ֑ם וְהִקְרִ֡יב עַ֣ל חַטָּאתוֹ֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר חָטָ֜א פַּ֣ר בֶּן־בָּקָ֥ר תָּמִ֛ים לַיהוָ֖ה לְחַטָּֽאת׃

4
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehebi֣y 'et-hapּa֗r 'el-pּe֛tach 'o֥hel mo'e֖d lipene֣y yehva֑h vesama֤ke 'et-yado֙ 'al-ro֣'shsh hapּa֔r veshshacha֥t 'et-hapּa֖r lipene֥y yehvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall bring the bull to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting before the LORD, lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it there.

וְהֵבִ֣יא אֶת־הַפָּ֗ר אֶל־פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְסָמַ֤ךְ אֶת־יָדוֹ֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ הַפָּ֔ר וְשָׁחַ֥ט אֶת־הַפָּ֖ר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

5
Phonetic (Hebrew): velaqa֛ch hakּohe֥n hamּashshi֖ycha midּa֣m hapּa֑r vehebi֥y 'ot֖o 'el-'o֥hel mo'eֽd׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The anointed priest shall take some of the bull's blood and carry it into the Tent of Meeting.

וְלָקַ֛ח הַכֹּהֵ֥ן הַמָּשִׁ֖יחַ מִדַּ֣ם הַפָּ֑ר וְהֵבִ֥יא אֹת֖וֹ אֶל־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

6
Phonetic (Hebrew): vetaba֧l hakּohe֛n 'et-'etzebּa'֖o bּadּa֑m vehizּa֨h min-hadּa֜m shshe֤ba pּe'amiym֙ lipene֣y yehva֔h 'et-pּene֖y pּaro֥ket haqּoֽdeshsh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, in front of the curtain of the sanctuary.

וְטָבַ֧ל הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־אֶצְבָּע֖וֹ בַּדָּ֑ם וְהִזָּ֨ה מִן־הַדָּ֜ם שֶׁ֤בַע פְּעָמִים֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֶת־פְּנֵ֖י פָּרֹ֥כֶת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

7
Phonetic (Hebrew): venatan֩ hakּohe֨n min-hadּa֜m 'al-qa֠renot mizebּa֨ch qeto֤ret hasּamּiym֙ lipene֣y yehva֔h 'ashshe֖r bּe'o֣hel mo'e֑d ve'e֣t ׀ kּal-dּa֣m hapּa֗r yishshepּoke֙ 'el-yesod֙ mizebּa֣ch ha'ola֔h 'ashsher-pּe֖tach 'o֥hel mo'eֽd׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense which is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting; the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance.

וְנָתַן֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן מִן־הַדָּ֜ם עַל־קַ֠רְנוֹת מִזְבַּ֨ח קְטֹ֤רֶת הַסַּמִּים֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְאֵ֣ת ׀ כָּל־דַּ֣ם הַפָּ֗ר יִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ אֶל־יְסוֹד֙ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

8
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-kּal-che֛leb pּa֥r haֽchatּa֖'t yari֣ym mimּe֑nּu 'et-hache֨leb֙ haֽmekasּe֣h 'al-haqּe֔reb ve'et֙ kּal-hache֔leb 'ashshe֖r 'al-haqּeֽreb׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall remove all the fat from the bull for the sin offering, the fat that covers and surrounds the internal organs,

וְאֶת־כָּל־חֵ֛לֶב פַּ֥ר הַֽחַטָּ֖את יָרִ֣ים מִמֶּ֑נּוּ אֶת־הַחֵ֨לֶב֙ הַֽמְכַסֶּ֣ה עַל־הַקֶּ֔רֶב וְאֵת֙ כָּל־הַחֵ֔לֶב אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַקֶּֽרֶב׃

9
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et֙ shshetּe֣y hakּelayo֔t ve'et-hache֨leb֙ 'ashshe֣r 'aleyhe֔n 'ashshe֖r 'al-hakּesali֑ym ve'et-hayּote֨ret֙ 'al-hakּabe֔d 'al-hakּelay֖ot yesiyreֽnּah׃
Edified Edition (EDE)both kidneys with the fat on them, and the best part of the liver.

וְאֵת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י הַכְּלָיֹ֔ת וְאֶת־הַחֵ֨לֶב֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲלֵיהֶ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַכְּסָלִ֑ים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶ֨רֶת֙ עַל־הַכָּבֵ֔ד עַל־הַכְּלָי֖וֹת יְסִירֶֽנָּה׃

10
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּa'ashshe֣r yura֔m mishshּ֖or ze֣bach hashshּelami֑ym vehiqetiyram֙ hakּohe֔n 'a֖l mizebּa֥ch ha'olaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Just as the fat is removed from the peace offering, the priest shall burn these on the altar of burnt offering.

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יוּרַ֔ם מִשּׁ֖וֹר זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים וְהִקְטִירָם֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן עַ֖ל מִזְבַּ֥ח הָעֹלָֽה׃

11
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-'֤or hapּar֙ ve'et-kּal-bּeshsar֔o 'al-ro'shsh֖o ve'al-kּera'a֑yv veqirebּ֖o upireshshֽo׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But the hide of the bull and all its flesh, including its head, legs, internal organs, and waste,

וְאֶת־ע֤וֹר הַפָּר֙ וְאֶת־כָּל־בְּשָׂר֔וֹ עַל־רֹאשׁ֖וֹ וְעַל־כְּרָעָ֑יו וְקִרְבּ֖וֹ וּפִרְשֽׁוֹ׃

12
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehotzi֣y 'et-kּal-ha֠pּar 'el-mich֨utz laֽmּachane֜h 'el-maq֤om tahor֙ 'el-shshe֣peke hadּe֔shshen veshsara֥p 'ot֛o 'al-'etzi֖ym bּa'e֑shsh 'al-shshe֥peke hadּe֖shshen yishsּareֽp׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)that is, the entire rest of the bull, he must carry outside the camp to a ceremonially clean place where the ashes are thrown, and burn it on a wood fire.

וְהוֹצִ֣יא אֶת־כָּל־הַ֠פָּר אֶל־מִח֨וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֜ה אֶל־מָק֤וֹם טָהוֹר֙ אֶל־שֶׁ֣פֶךְ הַדֶּ֔שֶׁן וְשָׂרַ֥ף אֹת֛וֹ עַל־עֵצִ֖ים בָּאֵ֑שׁ עַל־שֶׁ֥פֶךְ הַדֶּ֖שֶׁן יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃פ

13
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'i֨m kּal-'ada֤t yishsera'el֙ yishshegּ֔u vene'ela֣m dּaba֔r me'eyne֖y haqּaha֑l ve֠'ashsu 'acha֨t mikּal-mitzevo֧t yehva֛h 'ashshe֥r lo'-te'ashse֖ynah ve'ashsheֽmu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)'If the whole community of Israel sins unintentionally and is unaware of it, yet they have done something the LORD commanded not to be done, they are guilty.

וְאִ֨ם כָּל־עֲדַ֤ת יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ יִשְׁגּ֔וּ וְנֶעְלַ֣ם דָּבָ֔ר מֵעֵינֵ֖י הַקָּהָ֑ל וְ֠עָשׂוּ אַחַ֨ת מִכָּל־מִצְוֺ֧ת יְהוָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵעָשֶׂ֖ינָה וְאָשֵֽׁמוּ׃

14
Phonetic (Hebrew): venֽode'ah֙ haֽchatּa֔'t 'ashshe֥r chate'֖u 'ale֑yha vehiqeri֨ybu haqּaha֜l pּa֤r bּen-bּaqar֙ lechatּa֔'t vehebi֣y'u 'ot֔o lipene֖y 'o֥hel mo'eֽd׃
Edified Edition (EDE)When they become aware of the sin they committed, the assembly must offer a young bull as a sin offering and bring it before the Tent of Meeting.

וְנֽוֹדְעָה֙ הַֽחַטָּ֔את אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטְא֖וּ עָלֶ֑יהָ וְהִקְרִ֨יבוּ הַקָּהָ֜ל פַּ֤ר בֶּן־בָּקָר֙ לְחַטָּ֔את וְהֵבִ֣יאוּ אֹת֔וֹ לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

15
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve֠sameku ziqene֨y ha'eda֧h 'et-yedeyhe֛m 'al-ro֥'shsh hapּa֖r lipene֣y yehva֑h veshshacha֥t 'et-hapּa֖r lipene֥y yehvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The elders of the community shall lay their hands on the bull’s head before the LORD, and the bull shall be slaughtered there.

וְ֠סָמְכוּ זִקְנֵ֨י הָעֵדָ֧ה אֶת־יְדֵיהֶ֛ם עַל־רֹ֥אשׁ הַפָּ֖ר לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְשָׁחַ֥ט אֶת־הַפָּ֖ר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

16
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehebi֛y hakּohe֥n hamּashshi֖ycha midּa֣m hapּa֑r 'el-'o֖hel mo'eֽd׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then the anointed priest shall take some of the bull’s blood into the Tent of Meeting.

וְהֵבִ֛יא הַכֹּהֵ֥ן הַמָּשִׁ֖יחַ מִדַּ֣ם הַפָּ֑ר אֶל־אֹ֖הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

17
Phonetic (Hebrew): vetaba֧l hakּohe֛n 'etzebּa'֖o min-hadּa֑m vehizּa֞h shshe֤ba pּe'amiym֙ lipene֣y yehva֔h 'e֖t pּene֥y hapּaroֽket׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD in front of the curtain.

וְטָבַ֧ל הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶצְבָּע֖וֹ מִן־הַדָּ֑ם וְהִזָּ֞ה שֶׁ֤בַע פְּעָמִים֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֵ֖ת פְּנֵ֥י הַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃

18
Phonetic (Hebrew): umin-hadּa֞m yitּe֣n ׀ 'al-qareno֣t hamּizebּe֗cha 'ashsher֙ lipene֣y yehva֔h 'ashshe֖r bּe'o֣hel mo'e֑d ve'e֣t kּal-hadּa֗m yishshepּoke֙ 'el-yesod֙ mizebּa֣ch ha'ola֔h 'ashsher-pּe֖tach 'o֥hel mo'eֽd׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting, and pour out the rest at the base of the altar of burnt offering.

וּמִן־הַדָּ֞ם יִתֵּ֣ן ׀ עַל־קַרְנֹ֣ת הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ אֲשֶׁר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְאֵ֣ת כָּל־הַדָּ֗ם יִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ אֶל־יְסוֹד֙ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

19
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'e֥t kּal-chelebּ֖o yari֣ym mimּe֑nּu vehiqeti֖yr hamּizebּeֽchah׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall remove all the fat from it and burn it on the altar.

וְאֵ֥ת כָּל־חֶלְבּ֖וֹ יָרִ֣ים מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְהִקְטִ֖יר הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה׃

20
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'ashsa֣h lapּa֔r kּa'ashshe֤r 'ashsah֙ lepa֣r haֽchatּa֔'t kּe֖n ya'ashseh-lּ֑o vekipּe֧r 'alehe֛m hakּohe֖n venisela֥ch laheֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall do with this bull just as he did with the first sin offering; in this way, the priest will make atonement for the community, and they will be forgiven.

וְעָשָׂ֣ה לַפָּ֔ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ לְפַ֣ר הַֽחַטָּ֔את כֵּ֖ן יַעֲשֶׂה־לּ֑וֹ וְכִפֶּ֧ר עֲלֵהֶ֛ם הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנִסְלַ֥ח לָהֶֽם׃

21
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehotzi֣y 'et-hapּa֗r 'el-michutz֙ laֽmּachane֔h veshsara֣p 'ot֔o kּa'ashshe֣r shsara֔p 'e֖t hapּa֣r hari'shsh֑on chatּa֥'t haqּaha֖l hֽu'׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)Then he shall carry the bull outside the camp and burn it, just as he burned the first one. This is the sin offering for the entire community.

וְהוֹצִ֣יא אֶת־הַפָּ֗ר אֶל־מִחוּץ֙ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה וְשָׂרַ֣ף אֹת֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׂרַ֔ף אֵ֖ת הַפָּ֣ר הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן חַטַּ֥את הַקָּהָ֖ל הֽוּא׃פ

22
Phonetic (Hebrew): ashshe֥r nashsi֖y yeֽcheta֑ ve'ashsa֡h 'acha֣t mikּal-mitzevot֩ yehva֨h 'eloha֜yv 'ashshe֧r lo'-te'ashse֛ynah bּishshegaga֖h ve'ashsheֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)'When a leader sins unintentionally and does something his God, the LORD, has commanded not to be done, he is guilty.

אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָשִׂ֖יא יֶֽחֱטָ֑א וְעָשָׂ֡ה אַחַ֣ת מִכָּל־מִצְוֺת֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהָ֜יו אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹא־תֵעָשֶׂ֛ינָה בִּשְׁגָגָ֖ה וְאָשֵֽׁם׃

23
Phonetic (Hebrew): ֽo-hoda֤ 'elayv֙ chatּa't֔o 'ashshe֥r chata֖ bּa֑hּ vehebi֧y 'et-qarebּan֛o shse'i֥yr 'izּi֖ym zaka֥r tּamiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)When he is made aware of his sin, he must bring as his offering a male goat without any defect.

אֽוֹ־הוֹדַ֤ע אֵלָיו֙ חַטָּאת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖א בָּ֑הּ וְהֵבִ֧יא אֶת־קָרְבָּנ֛וֹ שְׂעִ֥יר עִזִּ֖ים זָכָ֥ר תָּמִֽים׃

24
Phonetic (Hebrew): vesama֤ke yado֙ 'al-ro֣'shsh hashsּa'i֔yr veshshacha֣t 'ot֔o bּimeq֛om 'ashsher-yishshecha֥t 'et-ha'ola֖h lipene֣y yehva֑h chatּa֖'t hֽu'׃
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall lay his hand on the goat's head and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is killed before the LORD; it is a sin offering.

וְסָמַ֤ךְ יָדוֹ֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ הַשָּׂעִ֔יר וְשָׁחַ֣ט אֹת֔וֹ בִּמְק֛וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁחַ֥ט אֶת־הָעֹלָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה חַטָּ֖את הֽוּא׃

25
Phonetic (Hebrew): velaqa֨ch hakּohe֜n midּa֤m haֽchatּa't֙ bּe'etzebּa'֔o venata֕n 'al-qareno֖t mizebּa֣ch ha'ola֑h ve'et-dּam֣o yishshepּo֔ke 'el-yes֖od mizebּa֥ch ha'olaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, pouring the rest of the blood at its base.

וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִדַּ֤ם הַֽחַטָּאת֙ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ וְנָתַ֕ן עַל־קַרְנֹ֖ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֑ה וְאֶת־דָּמ֣וֹ יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ אֶל־יְס֖וֹד מִזְבַּ֥ח הָעֹלָֽה׃

26
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-kּal-chelebּo֙ yaqeti֣yr hamּizebּe֔chah kּeche֖leb ze֣bach hashshּelami֑ym vekipּe֨r 'ala֧yv hakּohe֛n mechatּa't֖o venisela֥ch lֽo׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall burn all the goat's fat on the altar, just as he burns the fat of the peace offering. In this way, the priest will make atonement for the leader's sin, and he will be forgiven.

וְאֶת־כָּל־חֶלְבּוֹ֙ יַקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה כְּחֵ֖לֶב זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלָ֧יו הַכֹּהֵ֛ן מֵחַטָּאת֖וֹ וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃פ

27
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'im-ne֧peshsh 'acha֛t tּecheta֥ bishshegaga֖h me'a֣m ha'a֑retz bּa֠'ashsotahּ 'acha֨t mimּitzevo֧t yehva֛h 'ashshe֥r lo'-te'ashse֖ynah ve'ashsheֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)'If any ordinary person sins unintentionally and does something the LORD has commanded not to be done, they are guilty.

וְאִם־נֶ֧פֶשׁ אַחַ֛ת תֶּחֱטָ֥א בִשְׁגָגָ֖ה מֵעַ֣ם הָאָ֑רֶץ בַּ֠עֲשֹׂתָהּ אַחַ֨ת מִמִּצְוֺ֧ת יְהוָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵעָשֶׂ֖ינָה וְאָשֵֽׁם׃

28
Phonetic (Hebrew): ֚o hoda֣ 'ela֔yv chatּa't֖o 'ashshe֣r chata֑ vehebi֨y qarebּan֜o shse'iyra֤t 'izּiym֙ tּemiyma֣h neqeba֔h 'al-chatּa't֖o 'ashshe֥r chataֽ'׃
Edified Edition (EDE)When they are made aware of the sin they committed, they must bring a female goat without any defect as an offering for that sin.

א֚וֹ הוֹדַ֣ע אֵלָ֔יו חַטָּאת֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֑א וְהֵבִ֨יא קָרְבָּנ֜וֹ שְׂעִירַ֤ת עִזִּים֙ תְּמִימָ֣ה נְקֵבָ֔ה עַל־חַטָּאת֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָֽא׃

29
Phonetic (Hebrew): vesamake֙ 'et-yad֔o 'a֖l ro֣'shsh haֽchatּa֑'t veshshachat֙ 'et-ha֣chatּa֔'t bּimeq֖om ha'olaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)They shall lay their hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering.

וְסָמַךְ֙ אֶת־יָד֔וֹ עַ֖ל רֹ֣אשׁ הַֽחַטָּ֑את וְשָׁחַט֙ אֶת־הַ֣חַטָּ֔את בִּמְק֖וֹם הָעֹלָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): velaqa֨ch hakּohe֤n midּamahּ֙ bּe'etzebּa'֔o venata֕n 'al-qareno֖t mizebּa֣ch ha'ola֑h ve'et-kּal-dּama֣hּ yishshepּo֔ke 'el-yes֖od hamּizebּeֽcha׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Then the priest shall take some of the blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, pouring the rest at its base.

וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֤ן מִדָּמָהּ֙ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ וְנָתַ֕ן עַל־קַרְנֹ֖ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֑ה וְאֶת־כָּל־דָּמָ֣הּ יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ אֶל־יְס֖וֹד הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

31
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et-kּal-chelebּa֣hּ yasi֗yr kּa'ashshe֨r husa֣r cheleb֮ me'a֣l ze֣bach hashshּelamiym֒ vehiqeti֤yr hakּohen֙ hamּizebּe֔chah lere֥ycha niycho֖cha layhva֑h vekipּe֥r 'ala֛yv hakּohe֖n venisela֥ch lֽo׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)He shall remove all the fat, just as it is removed from the peace offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. In this way, the priest will make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.

וְאֶת־כָּל־חֶלְבָּ֣הּ יָסִ֗יר כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר הוּסַ֣ר חֵלֶב֮ מֵעַ֣ל זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִים֒ וְהִקְטִ֤יר הַכֹּהֵן֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃פ

32
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'im-kּe֛beshs yabi֥y qarebּan֖o lechatּa֑'t neqeba֥h temiyma֖h yebiy'eֽnּah׃
Edified Edition (EDE)'If they bring a lamb as their sin offering, it must be a female without any defect.

וְאִם־כֶּ֛בֶשׂ יָבִ֥יא קָרְבָּנ֖וֹ לְחַטָּ֑את נְקֵבָ֥ה תְמִימָ֖ה יְבִיאֶֽנָּה׃

33
Phonetic (Hebrew): vesamake֙ 'et-yad֔o 'a֖l ro֣'shsh haֽchatּa֑'t veshshacha֤t 'otahּ֙ lechatּa֔'t bּimeq֕om 'ashshe֥r yishshecha֖t 'et-ha'olaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)They shall lay their hand on its head and slaughter it as a sin offering at the place where the burnt offering is killed.

Edified Edition (EDE)He shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the peace offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar on top of the offerings made by fire to the LORD. In this way, the priest will make atonement for the sin committed, and they will be forgiven.'
