Chapter 7

Phonetic (Hebrew): vezo֥'t tּora֖t ha'ashsha֑m qo֥deshsh qֽadashshi֖ym hֽu'׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"‘These are the regulations for the guilt offering, which is most holy:

וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הָאָשָׁ֑ם קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הֽוּא׃

2
Phonetic (Hebrew): bּimeq֗om 'ashshe֤r yishshechatu֙ 'et-ha֣'ola֔h yishshechat֖u 'et-ha'ashsha֑m ve'et-dּam֛o yizero֥q 'al-hamּizebּe֖cha sabiֽyb׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The guilt offering is to be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and its blood is to be splashed against all sides of the altar.

בִּמְק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁחֲטוּ֙ אֶת־הָ֣עֹלָ֔ה יִשְׁחֲט֖וּ אֶת־הָאָשָׁ֑ם וְאֶת־דָּמ֛וֹ יִזְרֹ֥ק עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃

3
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'e֥t kּal-chelebּ֖o yaqeri֣yb mimּe֑nּu 'e֚t haֽ'aleya֔h ve'et-hache֖leb haֽmekasּe֥h 'et-haqּeֽreb׃
Edified Edition (EDE)All its fat shall be offered: the fat tail and the fat that covers the internal organs,

וְאֵ֥ת כָּל־חֶלְבּ֖וֹ יַקְרִ֣יב מִמֶּ֑נּוּ אֵ֚ת הָֽאַלְיָ֔ה וְאֶת־הַחֵ֖לֶב הַֽמְכַסֶּ֥ה אֶת־הַקֶּֽרֶב׃

4
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et֙ shshetּe֣y hakּelayo֔t ve'et-hache֨leb֙ 'ashshe֣r 'aleyhe֔n 'ashshe֖r 'al-hakּesali֑ym ve'et-hayּote֨ret֙ 'al-hakּabe֔d 'al-hakּelayo֖t yesiyreֽnּah׃
Edified Edition (EDE)both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which is to be removed with the kidneys.

וְאֵת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י הַכְּלָיֹ֔ת וְאֶת־הַחֵ֨לֶב֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲלֵיהֶ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַכְּסָלִ֑ים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶ֨רֶת֙ עַל־הַכָּבֵ֔ד עַל־הַכְּלָיֹ֖ת יְסִירֶֽנָּה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehiqeti֨yr 'ota֤m hakּohen֙ hamּizebּe֔chah 'ishshּe֖h layhva֑h 'ashsha֖m hֽu'׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering presented to the LORD. It is a guilt offering.

וְהִקְטִ֨יר אֹתָ֤ם הַכֹּהֵן֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהוָ֑ה אָשָׁ֖ם הֽוּא׃

6
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּal-zaka֥r bּakּohani֖ym yo'kele֑nּu bּemaq֤om qadoshsh֙ ye'ake֔l qo֥deshsh qaֽdashshi֖ym hֽu'׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Any male in a priest’s family may eat it, but it must be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.

כָּל־זָכָ֥ר בַּכֹּהֲנִ֖ים יֹאכְלֶ֑נּוּ בְּמָק֤וֹם קָדוֹשׁ֙ יֵאָכֵ֔ל קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הֽוּא׃

7
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּaֽchatּa't֙ kּaֽ'ashsha֔m tּora֥h 'acha֖t lahe֑m hakּohe֛n 'ashshe֥r yekapּer-bּ֖o l֥o yiheyeֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)‘The same law applies to both the sin offering and the guilt offering: They belong to the priest who makes atonement with them.

כַּֽחַטָּאת֙ כָּֽאָשָׁ֔ם תּוֹרָ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לָהֶ֑ם הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְכַפֶּר־בּ֖וֹ ל֥וֹ יִהְיֶֽה׃

8
Phonetic (Hebrew): veha֨kּohe֔n hamּaqeri֖yb 'et-'o֣lat 'i֑yshsh '֤or haֽ'olah֙ 'ashshe֣r hiqeri֔yb lakּohe֖n l֥o yiheyeֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The priest who offers a burnt offering for anyone may keep its hide for himself.

וְהַ֨כֹּהֵ֔ן הַמַּקְרִ֖יב אֶת־עֹ֣לַת אִ֑ישׁ ע֤וֹר הָֽעֹלָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִקְרִ֔יב לַכֹּהֵ֖ן ל֥וֹ יִהְיֶֽה׃

9
Phonetic (Hebrew): vekal-minecha֗h 'ashshe֤r tּeֽ'apeh֙ bּatּanּ֔ur vekal-na'ashsa֥h bamּareche֖shshet ve'aֽl-machaba֑t lakּohe֛n hamּaqeri֥yb 'ota֖hּ l֥o tiֽheyeֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Every grain offering baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or on a griddle belongs to the priest who offers it,

וְכָל־מִנְחָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר תֵּֽאָפֶה֙ בַּתַּנּ֔וּר וְכָל־נַעֲשָׂ֥ה בַמַּרְחֶ֖שֶׁת וְעַֽל־מַחֲבַ֑ת לַכֹּהֵ֛ן הַמַּקְרִ֥יב אֹתָ֖הּ ל֥וֹ תִֽהְיֶֽה׃

10
Phonetic (Hebrew): vekal-minecha֥h belulaֽh-bashshּe֖men vachareba֑h lekal-bּene֧y 'aharo֛n tּiheye֖h 'i֥yshsh kּe'achiֽyv׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)and every grain offering, whether mixed with olive oil or dry, belongs equally to all the sons of Aaron.

וְכָל־מִנְחָ֥ה בְלוּלָֽה־בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן וַחֲרֵבָ֑ה לְכָל־בְּנֵ֧י אַהֲרֹ֛ן תִּהְיֶ֖ה אִ֥ישׁ כְּאָחִֽיו׃פ

11
Phonetic (Hebrew): vezo֥'t tּora֖t ze֣bach hashshּelami֑ym 'ashshe֥r yaqeri֖yb layhvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)‘These are the regulations for the peace offering anyone may present to the LORD:

וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַקְרִ֖יב לַיהוָֽה׃

12
Phonetic (Hebrew): i֣m 'al-tּodah֮ yaqeriybenּu֒ vehiqeri֣yb ׀ 'al-ze֣bach hatּoda֗h chalּ֤ot matzּot֙ bּelulo֣t bּashshּe֔men ureqiyqe֥y matzּ֖ot meshshuchi֣ym bּashshּa֑men veso֣let murebּe֔ket chalּo֖t bּelulo֥t bּashshּaֽmen׃
Edified Edition (EDE)‘If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering they are to offer thick loaves made without yeast and mixed with olive oil, wafers made without yeast and brushed with oil, and cakes of the finest flour well-kneaded and mixed with oil.

אִ֣ם עַל־תּוֹדָה֮ יַקְרִיבֶנּוּ֒ וְהִקְרִ֣יב ׀ עַל־זֶ֣בַח הַתּוֹדָ֗ה חַלּ֤וֹת מַצּוֹת֙ בְּלוּלֹ֣ת בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן וּרְקִיקֵ֥י מַצּ֖וֹת מְשֻׁחִ֣ים בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן וְסֹ֣לֶת מֻרְבֶּ֔כֶת חַלֹּ֖ת בְּלוּלֹ֥ת בַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃

13
Phonetic (Hebrew): al-chalּot֙ le֣chem chame֔tz yaqeri֖yb qarebּan֑o 'al-ze֖bach tּoda֥t shshelamaֽyv׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Along with their thank offering of peace offerings, they are to present an offering with thick loaves of bread made with yeast.

עַל־חַלֹּת֙ לֶ֣חֶם חָמֵ֔ץ יַקְרִ֖יב קָרְבָּנ֑וֹ עַל־זֶ֖בַח תּוֹדַ֥ת שְׁלָמָֽיו׃

14
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehiqeri֨yb mimּe֤nּu 'echad֙ mikּal-qarebּa֔n tּeruma֖h layhva֑h lakּohe֗n hazּore֛q 'et-dּa֥m hashshּelami֖ym l֥o yiheyeֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)They are to bring one of each kind as an offering, a contribution to the LORD; it belongs to the priest who splashes the blood of the peace offering against the altar.

וְהִקְרִ֨יב מִמֶּ֤נּוּ אֶחָד֙ מִכָּל־קָרְבָּ֔ן תְּרוּמָ֖ה לַיהוָ֑ה לַכֹּהֵ֗ן הַזֹּרֵ֛ק אֶת־דַּ֥ם הַשְּׁלָמִ֖ים ל֥וֹ יִהְיֶֽה׃

15
Phonetic (Hebrew): ubeshsa֗r ze֚bach tּoda֣t shshelama֔yv bּey֥om qarebּan֖o ye'ake֑l loֽ'-yanּi֥ycha mimּe֖nּu 'ad-bּoֽqer׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The meat of their thank offering of peace offerings must be eaten on the day it is offered; they must leave none of it till morning.

וּבְשַׂ֗ר זֶ֚בַח תּוֹדַ֣ת שְׁלָמָ֔יו בְּי֥וֹם קָרְבָּנ֖וֹ יֵאָכֵ֑ל לֹֽא־יַנִּ֥יחַ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ עַד־בֹּֽקֶר׃

16
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'im-ne֣der ׀ '֣o nedaba֗h ze֚bach qarebּan֔o bּey֛om haqeriyb֥o 'et-zibech֖o ye'ake֑l umiֽmּachora֔t vehanּota֥r mimּe֖nּu ye'akeֽl׃
Edified Edition (EDE)‘If, however, their offering is the result of a vow or is a voluntary offering, the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day they offer it, but anything left over may be eaten on the next day.

וְאִם־נֶ֣דֶר ׀ א֣וֹ נְדָבָ֗ה זֶ֚בַח קָרְבָּנ֔וֹ בְּי֛וֹם הַקְרִיב֥וֹ אֶת־זִבְח֖וֹ יֵאָכֵ֑ל וּמִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת וְהַנּוֹתָ֥ר מִמֶּ֖נּוּ יֵאָכֵֽל׃

17
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehanּota֖r mibּeshsa֣r hazּa֑bach bּayּom֙ hashshּeliyshshi֔y bּa'e֖shsh yishsּareֽp׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Any meat of the sacrifice left over till the third day must be burned up.

וְהַנּוֹתָ֖ר מִבְּשַׂ֣ר הַזָּ֑בַח בַּיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י בָּאֵ֖שׁ יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃

18
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'i֣m he'ako֣l ye֠'akel mibּeshsar-ze֨bach shshelama֜yv bּayּ֣om hashshּeliyshshiy֮ lo֣ yeratzeh֒ hamּaqeri֣yb 'ot֗o lo֧ yechashshe֛b l֖o pּigּ֣ul yiheye֑h vehanּe֛peshsh ha'oke֥let mimּe֖nּu 'avona֥hּ tּishsּaֽ'׃
Edified Edition (EDE)If any meat from the peace offering is eaten on the third day, the offering will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who offered it, for it is impure; whoever eats it will be held responsible.

וְאִ֣ם הֵאָכֹ֣ל יֵ֠אָכֵל מִבְּשַׂר־זֶ֨בַח שְׁלָמָ֜יו בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי֮ לֹ֣א יֵרָצֶה֒ הַמַּקְרִ֣יב אֹת֗וֹ לֹ֧א יֵחָשֵׁ֛ב ל֖וֹ פִּגּ֣וּל יִהְיֶ֑ה וְהַנֶּ֛פֶשׁ הָאֹכֶ֥לֶת מִמֶּ֖נּוּ עֲוֺנָ֥הּ תִּשָּֽׂא׃

19
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehabּashsa֞r 'ashsher-yigּa֤ bּekal-tame'֙ lo֣ yeֽ'ake֔l bּa'e֖shsh yishsּare֑p veha֨bּashsa֔r kּal-tah֖or yo'ka֥l bּashsaֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)‘Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up. As for other meat, anyone who is ceremonially clean may eat it.

וְהַבָּשָׂ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּ֤ע בְּכָל־טָמֵא֙ לֹ֣א יֵֽאָכֵ֔ל בָּאֵ֖שׁ יִשָּׂרֵ֑ף וְהַ֨בָּשָׂ֔ר כָּל־טָה֖וֹר יֹאכַ֥ל בָּשָֽׂר׃

20
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehanּe֜peshsh 'ashsher-tּo'ka֣l bּashsa֗r mizּe֤bach hashshּelamiym֙ 'ashshe֣r layhva֔h vetume'at֖o 'ala֑yv venikereta֛h hanּe֥peshsh hahi֖v me'amּeֽyha׃
Edified Edition (EDE)But if anyone who is unclean eats any meat from the peace offering belonging to the LORD, they must be cut off from their people.

וְהַנֶּ֜פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאכַ֣ל בָּשָׂ֗ר מִזֶּ֤בַח הַשְּׁלָמִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לַיהוָ֔ה וְטֻמְאָת֖וֹ עָלָ֑יו וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵעַמֶּֽיהָ׃

21
Phonetic (Hebrew): vene֜peshsh kּiֽy-tigּa֣ bּekal-tame֗ bּetume'a֤t 'adam֙ '֣o ׀ bּibehema֣h teme'a֗h '֚o bּekal-shshe֣qetz tame֔ ve'aka֛l mibּeshsar-ze֥bach hashshּelami֖ym 'ashshe֣r layhva֑h venikereta֛h hanּe֥peshsh hahi֖v me'amּeֽyha׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)If anyone touches something unclean, whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean, detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the peace offering belonging to the LORD, they must be cut off from their people.’"

וְנֶ֜פֶשׁ כִּֽי־תִגַּ֣ע בְּכָל־טָמֵ֗א בְּטֻמְאַ֤ת אָדָם֙ א֣וֹ ׀ בִּבְהֵמָ֣ה טְמֵאָ֗ה א֚וֹ בְּכָל־שֶׁ֣קֶץ טָמֵ֔א וְאָכַ֛ל מִבְּשַׂר־זֶ֥בַח הַשְּׁלָמִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר לַיהוָ֑ה וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵעַמֶּֽיהָ׃פ

22
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayedabּe֥r yehva֖h 'el-moshshe֥h lּe'moֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The LORD said to Moses,

וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

23
Phonetic (Hebrew): dּabּe֛r 'el-bּene֥y yishsera'e֖l le'mo֑r kּal-che֜leb shsh֥or veke֛shseb va'e֖z lo֥ to'keֽlu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Say to the Israelites: ‘Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר כָּל־חֵ֜לֶב שׁ֥וֹר וְכֶ֛שֶׂב וָעֵ֖ז לֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽלוּ׃

24
Phonetic (Hebrew): veche֤leb nebelah֙ veche֣leb terepa֔h ye'ashse֖h lekal-mela'ka֑h ve'ako֖l lo֥ to'keluֽhu׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild beasts may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it.

וְחֵ֤לֶב נְבֵלָה֙ וְחֵ֣לֶב טְרֵפָ֔ה יֵעָשֶׂ֖ה לְכָל־מְלָאכָ֑ה וְאָכֹ֖ל לֹ֥א תֹאכְלֻֽהוּ׃

25
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּi֚y kּal-'oke֣l che֔leb min-ha֨bּehema֔h 'ashshe֨r yaqeri֥yb mimּe֛nּah 'ishshּe֖h layhva֑h venikereta֛h hanּe֥peshsh ha'oke֖let meֽ'amּeֽyha׃
Edified Edition (EDE)Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which a food offering may be presented to the LORD must be cut off from their people.

כִּ֚י כָּל־אֹכֵ֣ל חֵ֔לֶב מִן־הַ֨בְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַקְרִ֥יב מִמֶּ֛נָּה אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהוָ֑ה וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הָאֹכֶ֖לֶת מֵֽעַמֶּֽיהָ׃

26
Phonetic (Hebrew): vekal-dּam֙ lo֣ to'kel֔u bּeko֖l moshsheboteyke֑m la'֖op velabּehemaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood of any bird or animal.

וְכָל־דָּם֙ לֹ֣א תֹאכְל֔וּ בְּכֹ֖ל מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶ֑ם לָע֖וֹף וְלַבְּהֵמָֽה׃

27
Phonetic (Hebrew): kּal-ne֖peshsh 'ashsher-tּo'ka֣l kּal-dּa֑m venikereta֛h hanּe֥peshsh hahi֖v meֽ'amּeֽyha׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)Anyone who eats blood must be cut off from their people.’"

כָּל־נֶ֖פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאכַ֣ל כָּל־דָּ֑ם וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵֽעַמֶּֽיהָ׃פ

28
Phonetic (Hebrew): vayedabּe֥r yehva֖h 'el-moshshe֥h lּe'moֽr׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The LORD said to Moses,

וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

29
Phonetic (Hebrew): dּabּe֛r 'el-bּene֥y yishsera'e֖l le'mo֑r hamּaqeri֞yb 'et-ze֤bach shshelamayv֙ layhva֔h yabi֧y 'et-qarebּan֛o layhva֖h mizּe֥bach shshelamaֽyv׃
Edified Edition (EDE)"Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who brings a peace offering to the LORD is to bring part of it as their sacrifice to the LORD.

דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר הַמַּקְרִ֞יב אֶת־זֶ֤בַח שְׁלָמָיו֙ לַיהוָ֔ה יָבִ֧יא אֶת־קָרְבָּנ֛וֹ לַיהוָ֖ה מִזֶּ֥בַח שְׁלָמָֽיו׃

30
Phonetic (Hebrew): yada֣yv tּebiy'e֔ynah 'e֖t 'ishshּe֣y yehva֑h 'et-hache֤leb 'al-heֽchazeh֙ yebiy'e֔nּu 'e֣t hechaze֗h lehani֥yp 'ot֛o tּenupa֖h lipene֥y yehvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)With their own hands they are to bring the food offerings to the LORD; they are to bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast before the LORD as a wave offering.

יָדָ֣יו תְּבִיאֶ֔ינָה אֵ֖ת אִשֵּׁ֣י יְהוָ֑ה אֶת־הַחֵ֤לֶב עַל־הֶֽחָזֶה֙ יְבִיאֶ֔נּוּ אֵ֣ת הֶחָזֶ֗ה לְהָנִ֥יף אֹת֛וֹ תְּנוּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

31
Phonetic (Hebrew): vehiqeti֧yr hakּohe֛n 'et-hache֖leb hamּizebּe֑chah vehayah֙ heֽchaze֔h le'aharo֖n ulebanaֽyv׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.

וְהִקְטִ֧יר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־הַחֵ֖לֶב הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה וְהָיָה֙ הֶֽחָזֶ֔ה לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָֽיו׃

32
Phonetic (Hebrew): ve'et֙ shsh֣oq hayּami֔yn tּitּen֥u teruma֖h lakּohe֑n mizּibeche֖y shshalemeykeֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)You are to give the right thigh of your peace offerings to the priest as a contribution.

וְאֵת֙ שׁ֣וֹק הַיָּמִ֔ין תִּתְּנ֥וּ תְרוּמָ֖ה לַכֹּהֵ֑ן מִזִּבְחֵ֖י שַׁלְמֵיכֶֽם׃

33
Phonetic (Hebrew): hamּaqeri֞yb 'et-dּa֧m hashshּelami֛ym ve'et-hache֖leb mibּene֣y 'aharo֑n l֧o tiheye֛h shsh֥oq hayּami֖yn lemanaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)The son of Aaron who offers the blood and the fat of the peace offering shall have the right thigh as his share.

הַמַּקְרִ֞יב אֶת־דַּ֧ם הַשְּׁלָמִ֛ים וְאֶת־הַחֵ֖לֶב מִבְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן ל֧וֹ תִהְיֶ֛ה שׁ֥וֹק הַיָּמִ֖ין לְמָנָֽה׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּiy֩ 'et-chaze֨h hatּenupa֜h ve'e֣t ׀ shsh֣oq hatּeruma֗h laqa֨chetּiy֙ me'e֣t bּeneֽy-yishsera'e֔l mizּibeche֖y shshalemeyhe֑m va'etּe֣n 'o֠tam le'aharo֨n hakּohe֤n ulebanayv֙ lechaq-'ola֔m me'e֖t bּene֥y yishsera'eֽl׃
Edified Edition (EDE)From the peace offerings of the Israelites, I have taken the breast that is waved and the thigh that is presented and have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as their perpetual share from the Israelites.’"

כִּי֩ אֶת־חֲזֵ֨ה הַתְּנוּפָ֜ה וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שׁ֣וֹק הַתְּרוּמָ֗ה לָקַ֨חְתִּי֙ מֵאֵ֣ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִזִּבְחֵ֖י שַׁלְמֵיהֶ֑ם וָאֶתֵּ֣ן אֹ֠תָם לְאַהֲרֹ֨ן הַכֹּהֵ֤ן וּלְבָנָיו֙ לְחָק־עוֹלָ֔ם מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): zo֣'t mishshecha֤t 'aharon֙ umishshecha֣t bּana֔yv me'ishshּe֖y yehva֑h bּeyom֙ hiqeri֣yb 'ota֔m lekahe֖n layhvaֽh׃
Edified Edition (EDE)This is the portion of the food offerings presented to the LORD that were allotted to Aaron and his sons on the day they were presented to serve the LORD as priests.

זֹ֣את מִשְׁחַ֤ת אַהֲרֹן֙ וּמִשְׁחַ֣ת בָּנָ֔יו מֵאִשֵּׁ֖י יְהוָ֑ה בְּיוֹם֙ הִקְרִ֣יב אֹתָ֔ם לְכַהֵ֖ן לַיהוָֽה׃

36
Phonetic (Hebrew): ashsher֩ tziua֨h yehva֜h late֣t lahe֗m bּeyom֙ mashshech֣o 'ota֔m me'e֖t bּene֣y yishsera'e֑l chuqּa֥t 'ola֖m ledorotaֽm׃
Edified Edition (EDE)On the day they were anointed, the LORD commanded that the Israelites give this to them as their perpetual share for the generations to come.

אֲשֶׁר֩ צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֜ה לָתֵ֣ת לָהֶ֗ם בְּיוֹם֙ מָשְׁח֣וֹ אֹתָ֔ם מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): zo֣'t hatּora֗h laֽ'olah֙ lamּinecha֔h velaֽchatּa֖'t vela'ashsha֑m vela֨mּilּu'i֔ym uleze֖bach hashshּelamiֽym׃
Edified Edition (EDE)These, then, are the regulations for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering and the peace offering,

זֹ֣את הַתּוֹרָ֗ה לָֽעֹלָה֙ לַמִּנְחָ֔ה וְלַֽחַטָּ֖את וְלָאָשָׁ֑ם וְלַ֨מִּלּוּאִ֔ים וּלְזֶ֖בַח הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): ashshe֨r tziua֧h yehva֛h 'et-moshshe֖h bּeha֣r siyna֑y bּey֨om tzauot֜o 'et-bּene֣y yishsera'e֗l lehaqeri֧yb 'et-qarebּeneyhe֛m layhva֖h bּemidebּa֥r siynaֽy׃p
Edified Edition (EDE)which the LORD gave Moses at Mount Sinai in the Desert of Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to the LORD.

אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּהַ֣ר סִינָ֑י בְּי֨וֹם צַוֺּת֜וֹ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לְהַקְרִ֧יב אֶת־קָרְבְּנֵיהֶ֛ם לַיהוָ֖ה בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר סִינָֽי׃פ
