Chapter 125

Phonetic (Hebrew): shshi֗yr haֽmּa֫'al֥ot habּotechi֥ym bּayhva֑h kּeֽhar-tziyּ֥on lo'-yi֝mּ֗ot le'ola֥m yeshsheֽb׃

Edified Edition (EDE)Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת הַבֹּטְחִ֥ים בַּיהוָ֑ה כְּֽהַר־צִיּ֥וֹן לֹא־יִ֝מּ֗וֹט לְעוֹלָ֥ם יֵשֵֽׁב׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): yeֽrushshalai֗m hariym֮ sabi֪yb la֥hּ va֭yhvah sabi֣yb le'amּ֑o me֝'atּa֗h ve'ad-'olaֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.

יְֽרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הָרִים֮ סָבִ֪יב לָ֥הּ וַ֭יהוָה סָבִ֣יב לְעַמּ֑וֹ מֵ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): kּi֤y lo֪ yan֡ucha shshe֤bet hare֗shsha 'al֮ gּora֪l haֽtzּadּi֫yqi֥ym lema֡'an lo'-yishshelech֖u hatzּadּiyqi֨ym bּe'avela֬tah yedeyheֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)The sceptre of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.

כִּ֤י לֹ֪א יָנ֡וּחַ שֵׁ֤בֶט הָרֶ֗שַׁע עַל֮ גּוֹרַ֪ל הַֽצַּדִּ֫יקִ֥ים לְמַ֡עַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְח֖וּ הַצַּדִּיקִ֨ים בְּעַוְלָ֬תָה יְדֵיהֶֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): heyti֣ybah ye֭hvah latּobi֑ym ve֝liֽyshshari֗ym bּelibּotaֽm׃

Edified Edition (EDE)LORD, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart.

הֵיטִ֣יבָה יְ֭הוָה לַטּוֹבִ֑ים וְ֝לִֽישָׁרִ֗ים בְּלִבּוֹתָֽם׃

Phonetic (Hebrew): vehamּatּi֤ym 'aֽqaleqalּota֗m yoliyke֣m ye֭hvah 'et-pּo'ale֣y ha'a֑ven shsha֝l֗om 'al-yishsera'eֽl׃

Edified Edition (EDE)But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be on Israel.

וְהַמַּטִּ֤ים עַֽקַלְקַלּוֹתָ֗ם יוֹלִיכֵ֣ם יְ֭הוָה אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵ֣י הָאָ֑וֶן שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
